We had just paid the deposit on our new house so decided to find a few caches nearby. I used to visit this place back in the 1970's - it sure has changed a lot since then! The nearby caravan park was always there back then, so the sign on it saying it is Australia's newest holiday park is a bit confusing! We parked nearby and made the find reasonably quickly whilst enjoying the views. TNLNSL TFTC

took the looooong way here as I thought I was on the path to another cache, once arriving at the destination I realised where we were. Not so happy was the person whom i was introducing to Geocaching as she now had sore feet. She made the find so was a bit happier after that. TFTC.

Took a trip up the coast today to take advantage of the stunning weather and could not believe the color of the water! Found the cache easily enough, though there were some muggles nearby on the deck of their accommodation nearby. Took coin and left TB. Hopefully it will reach its destination! tftc wesso family

So, get to cabin, check gps, nearest cache? 30metres from my bed! awesome!
Down side to this? I spend the rest of the holiday watching out the cabin window waiting to see if anyone else looks for the cache.
TNLN Thanks for the cache so conveniently placed for us Smile

Whilst my daughter competed at gymnastics nearby, my two sons (who can't sit still very long) and I spent the afternoon collecting some caches, before a swim. The boys are great at sniffing out a cache, and the muggles seem to ignore them.

Grabbed the cache and retired to a nearby table to sign the log. No sign of the TB in the inventory. TFTC Wesso's

This area has changed quite a bit since I was here last. Lovely shady picnic tables too. I didn't have a working pen so I've taken a photo for proof. Will post it shortly. Thanks wesso family for showing me the new section of the Coastal Pathway I've been meaning to come and check it out.

After leaving my very muggle family at a close by holiday apartment, I snuck off with the excuse of going to find some lunch for them all. Hmmm, I'm sure I can sneak just one cache in on my travels in search of food Wink This was the closest cache to the nearby shopping centre so I found my self a park and headed for GZ. It wasn't long, in between passing muggles, till I had the cache in hand. Nice location. I love this part of the Sunny Coast and am looking forward to returning muggle family free to find a few more caches sometime soon.

Found it geo virgin

Continuing on my Sunday afternoon bike ride i ended up at this cache. I had just ridden all the way down to the cache near the Bells creek boat ramp to find a group of people having a party pretty much on top of GZ so i thought i better find this one and make it count.

Turns out the area was relatively quite so locating the cache didn't take long at all.

sat at the nearby table and signed the log while having a well earned drink.

Left TB.

Out with Ayepeacee today enjoying the beautiful weather, visiting the Eumundi markets, eating yummy food and swimming in the ocean ^^

It was starting to get late in the arvo and the weather was lovely. We rocked up and wandered over. The funniest thing happened. I spotted this random stump cut off at ground level, and knowing how clever your hides are, i thought it was the cache, and went to remove it and ayepeacee said 'i know thats the cache, but just wait' because muggles were coming, but turned out the joke is on both of us, because it was just a stump which i soon realised when i couldnt pull it out of the ground Wink soon the cache was found and we signed it at the picnic table before returning it. haha. thanks for the cache wesso family, had us fooled for a minute ^^

We had a wonderful day of caching in this vibrant and scenic part of Queensland. We loved the Sunshine Coast when we were here back in 2007 and it is still as lovely especially on a bright sunny day like today. We enjoyed finding this well hidden cache.
Thanks to wesso family.

On our tour of Caloundra the day after the Sunshine Coast gathering. Nice corner spot and able to retrieve, sign and return OK despite the near-by presence of fishing-muggles.

Timed this one with all those passing on this busy day, then after replacing the cache I wandered over to the boat ramp where I had spent many an hour fishing in my younger days. Wow, this place has really changed since those days.... might have to come back with a line!!

Thanks wesso family for bringing me back here.

1214. Remember coming here a few years ago as a scuba diving dropoff point for my daughter and a birdwatching spot for Mrs.K., there wasn't this structure or path here then. I found the cache quite exposed so an easy find a quick sign and replace then added some camouflage cover..

Yay! We found it! Not a very hard find,
but a great hiding spot. We caught another geocacher
who beat us to it, but gladly hid it for us again so we could find
it ourselves. Our second geocache!

Our third *FTF* for the day. Hooray Big Grin Found at 10am.

After pulling up to this one earlier in the day, I got out of the car and went to check out GZ, there were muggles everywhere Twisted Muggle dog walkers, pram pushers and numerous muggles having breakfast Sad After finding the other two new publishings I decided go have another look see Wink We stopped nearby and grabbed some smoko to have at the nearby picnic table. Whilst the kids chowed down I sussed out the likely spot but was not able to grab it due to muggles. Yes, they were still hanging around Twisted Old mate who maintains the Golden Beach esplanade was even polishing the railings on the bridge Surprised

After having a bite to eat, I told Dylan where the treasure was and he went and grabbed it [^] Nobody paid him any attention. He even told some passerby's he found a treasure and they thought he had a lovely imagination Wink We returned the cache with no dramas and gave it a bit more cover Big Grin

TFTC wesso family. This is also one of our favorite spots where we used to come and eat seafood with a couple of beers Cool
