This one hasn't been found in some 10 months and no response to a call for maintenance. After visiting the spot today with Net88, I can understand why nobody else has been able to find it. Perhaps, if not interested in maintaining this one, it needs to go.

Thought I would go and see if I could find it but alas it was not meant to be. I think I turned every rock I could but nothing popped. Maybe like all the other DNF's it has gone to a better place.

No luck for egginthesky and myself tonight!

Another attempt to find this one today. Based on the recent severe weather and unusually high tides (the line of debris is well above the area indicated as GZ) I feel this cache is almost certainy gone. Would the CO please check. Thank you.

Out and about with IolantheK and svn07 for a Friday of caching and cruising around town. Big Grin
After using the clue we have determined that this cache has probably floated away in a storm.
Thanks for the cache.

No such luck today found two spots like the photo right at GZ well for the stump anyway. But no luck on the cache. Lots of stones look moved around here maybe with high tides if late.

Tried for this cache today while in the area. Just as we reached the edge of the grass the gps died. We looked in a number of places that 'resembled' the clue but couldn't come up with a cache. Knowing that the last finder was prior to the big Australia Day weekend storms we wondered if the cache had survived. We'll watch it and come back another time. Thanks onward bound and cleveland girl.

? Is it still there after recent storms. I think I found the rock but its moved and there is debris around the tree.

Another visit again, now in daylight. This time the area was even more challenging than with the previous hunters: a lady was indeed topless - though face down so not too much was revealed...

At the point there was a fisherman minding his lines, so could play curious and turn a few rocks around. No price was given this time, however, so after 10 mins decided to casually walk away and return some other time.

TFTC You know you've found some good friends when they wait patiently while you take an inordinate amount of time trying to get your act together setting your gear up for the day. Thanks Ms Maddy and Couchman, your kindness will never be forgotten. Nice cache thankyou

RN Rooster, Annie Lady Bug and I had decided to do some caching together today in the Wynnum or Cleveland area.

A. L. Bug and I headed for this one by car after 2 strikes with no cache found becuase of muggles and not have a proper opportunity to search.

RNRooster had her fancy child transporter behind her bike and was riding to meet us here.

I couldn't believe our bad luck as we approached GZ when we spotted a muggle out on the peninsula and what made it worse it looked like she was topless sunbathing.

Luckly I was wrong on the second matter but she was very close to GZ and as we exchanged pleasantries A. L. Bug and I spotted the cache out in the open so ALB did a quick shuffle while I blocked the view.

ALB did the honours writing our names in just as RNRooster rode right up near us with her trailer in tow.

Little Rooster created a nice diversion with the muggle's dog and ALB quickly hide the cache in a slightly better spot.

Thanks onward bound TFTC SL

HNRooster definitely put in the hard hards today. Couchmen and I strolled over to the point while the Hen rode an MTB towing two fluffy chicks in their luxury Croozer.

As we approached GZ, Mr Couchmen wondered if the lady with the small white dog was topless, as she had her back to us. We ventured closer and discerned that she was strapless but concealed enough for us to say hi and look around.

At that moment, I think, we both looked down and the cache was lying out in the open about a metre in front of all of us! I shuffled my foot over that way Wink Isn't it amazing what muggles don't see lying about?!!

We sat on a rock and signed the log and the Hen pointed out a hidey hole to return the cache to. It's still an easy find but not as visible.

Then some rock hopping and struggle to get the Croozer turned around and reloaded with small passengers Smile

On we rolled...

A bike is a great diversion when caching. Nearby beach muggles ignored me whilst I attended to some bike maintenance right next a suspicious pile of rocks. Nice quick find.

A quick dash to Cleveland and spare minutes to spend meant the opportunity to tick this one off. Perhaps.
At 9 pm the place was deserted, weather really nice, and the GZ easy to find with the smartiephone. But then things turned out to be harder.

The CO generally hates the rock caching, yet places a cache there. Equally, I hate rock caching, yet had a go at this. Go figure! Wink Turned rocks upside down (and placed carefully back) for 15 minutes, with and without the spoiler photo and the phone with a flashlight app running, but to no avail. Lots of plastic and glass was to be found, but no mint tins or anything else which would contain the coveted logbook.

This is one of those you're better off doing at daylight. So, until next time...

I really dislike these types & I have had a blood nail or 2 as evidence. The photo gave me hope, so off I went. Found, sat & watched a batch of dogs having a great time in the water. Tftc DnSL Jumbucks

A lovely day to go caching. It was fun to do as many as we could of the path series and along the way we picked up a few other caches.
Thanks to onward bound.

TFTC! Having met the cache owner earlier on in the day he had told us about Kipu's cache, and with our Geopup in toe it was only right to collect this cache. Let the Geopup off for a wonder around while we signed the cache. Couldn't spend too much time though as there were quite a few jellies on the beach, and the Geopup was very interested in them.

29-Sep-12
Lucky for us it was a windy day, so not as many Muggles as I believe there might have otherwise been. Geopup enjoyed the romp, Geobub enjoyed the sand and the waves and the Geoadults loved being able to add another cache to the list. Thanks and now we are onward bound...

More Rocks ARRRGGGHHH.(:O) Photo helped the find. Cache replaced and after a quick game of Spot the Dog, snuck away unnoticed. Rather be bay bashing for caches than bush bashing in this weather.

Found by Sunshine Toledo at 12:20pm. The cache was out in the open but hidden better now. The cache is in good condition. TFTC

The day for cache was wonderful, A slight nip in the air but the sun more then made up for it. I took a slow wonder down to the pier edge to find the cache, I had two muggles, one on each side of the pier on the shore line. If they were watching me I could not tell.

I found the perfect seat to watch both muggles and to lean over and retrieve the cache. I have to say I was expecting the cache to be a little damp with it's location but it was all good and dry.

I spent a bit of time just sitting in the wind and sun trying to get some SunShine "D". I have to say I did feel much better of sitting there for a time.

What a lovely spot on a sunny and windy day Smile
I rode the pushbike as far as I could and headed off on foot to beyond the surf line to reach GZ Big Grin
To the sound of the breaking waves all round I had a quick poke around the rocks and had me the cache in a couple of minutes Razz

Easy find. Not many muggles around this afternoon. Photo hint helped. Tftc onward bound

22-Aug-12
Perseverance paid off for this one as the first visit at noon was aborted because of a muggle fishing only metres from the search area.

I returned later in the afternoon with my daughter and her hound to give it a swim and availed myself of a quick hunt. The cache was in the first place I looked.

The photo was not that much use as things have been disturbed.

Yippee FTF. sat at work just finishing off some work. When this cache popped. So thought why not come and have a hunt. Especially as know the area well as often bring the dog here for a swim. Still the area is so different in the dark. Such beautiful and peaceful scene. With no torch did have to hunt a little but clue help a little as well. Found 20/8/12 at 2256hrs. TFTC.
