Guess folks might like this for the CITO today. New coordinates I forwarded are S27 55.901 E153 25.083.
Cache is missing and now replacement has gone missing. Coords haven't been updated. If the CO isn't interested in maintaining the cache maybe he should disable it
Due to cache dissappearing too often & the obvious access issues of getting there i have no choice but to disable.

Wednesday 3 May 2017 - a magnificent warm Autumn morning in the high teens. MuggleDawta's in-laws took us on their boat over to Wave Break island. Loved the soldier crabs darting out of our way as we walked amongst the mangroves at low tide. Found 2 from 4 caches on the island. Sadly one appeared too difficult/dangerous to access although seemingly only 30m away, and this cache could not be found after Muggle-Son-In-Law and I searched for over 30 min not before reading logs and looking through the gallery for clues. With evidence that there had been significant disruption at GZ by campers recently we left heavy hearted as we would have loved a Terrain 5 rated cache - see photo of large hole recently dug near GZ, and there was also surrounding freshly cut tree branches just 1metre away. Will be back some other time.
Out on a boatie trip with RoddyC, Nursey Julie, Selva Girls and E:) to explore Wavebreak Island and surroundings.
We lobbed up here in our 6 person flotilla at only 6 knots of speed.
We rounded the rock wall and saw a boat load of tourists and some skin divers practicing as the water is naturally deep here.
We landed our yellow submarine and headed up the dunes to take a look as we brought a past finder with us.
We had permission from the CO and a suitable container was brought to replace the missing one.
We sussed out a suitable spot and photos were taken and coordinates for the CO and signed the log.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks daney-jones All good with this cache

A day out on the boat and collecting the caches around this island. After several DNF's we had contacted the CO and he was happy to replace. We searched and searched with a previous finder but no cache could be seen. Once we replaced the cache, we all checked a WP and the new cache was in place. TFTC daney-jones
Out for a day on the water with Mr & Mrs RoddyC, Nurseyjulie, E(: and Team Benders. As our little boat made its way from the previous cache, I was lucky enough to see a stingray jump out of the water as we were approaching the end of the breakwater. As we rounded it, we could see some boats and buoys laid out indicating the presence of divers. This meant that we had to land further along than we originally intended, but not too far. The boat was brought in as far as possible as the shelf drops off quite sharply here. After a series of DNFs here, permission had been obtained from the CO to find a more suitable place for the cache. We spread out searching several options. Finally, one spot was agreed upon and GPS readings were taken, along with photos for the CO. Upon our return to the boat, we found it aground as Mrs RoddyC had been unable to keep it afloat on her own. Lots of pushing and grunting and the boat was afloat for our return to the mainland. TFTC
A designated day for water based caching. We had completed several long-distance boat caches last year, but still had the seven in the main channel off Southport to find. So we hired a six-person tinnie today, and set off. We knew that two caches were missing, so received gracious permission for the respective COs to replace them. Thanks guys!
The last of our seven boat caches for the day. We motored around to the seaward side of Wavebreak and anchored on the beach near the three groups of divers in training who soon left as we were making our way up the dune.
We gave the area a good search having E(: with us who was here last year some ten months ago. Several DNFs since then.
I had already contacted the CO to gain permission to place a new cache should this be the case, so collectively we found a good hiding spot (there s no more stump) and took the group's coordinates all agreed. These have been forwarded to the CO for cache page adjustment.
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 1.10pm on 15th February 2017. TFTC

Since we had such a good time chasing down caches on the Pine River last week, we made a plan to finish getting the caches on the water around the Broadwater. Arrived at the ramp about 7am (high tide at 8am) and knocked over the other caches on Curlew Island and Wavebreak and this was the last one on our list. Was not very hopeful of finding this considering the two DNF's but you never know.
I walked along the path from the anchorage point to the beach here and started searching all the stumps; there has been a lot of sand dumped up here over time.
Dug around some of the stumps but nothing showed itself.
Unfortunately will have call this a DNF and hope it can be checked if still there or its been buried under a LOT of sand.
Thanks for bringing me here. Lovely day, lovely place and the divers were out in the water.

None of the Wavebreak Island caches have been logged since late 2016 so wondering if sand and overgrowth have buried them. #worsthgeocachersever
BOO HOO! all the way from Vic, a hired boat and we couldn't come up with the goods! Lots of places it could of been, lots of places it wasn't!

With the mornings activities out of the way it was time to see how much of a dash we could do around the islands and sea wall in the kayak. A few spots it was easier to walk the kayak along the sand due to the current and winds. It's certainly worth keeping clear of the two break walls on the island as there was white water and a very visible current. Certainly a few boats out today and nice to see some Dolphins out. We took the bush bash way into CaleD is Breaking Waves and this was the hardest to find as the GPSr bounced around and the hint matches so many spots. Small Bertha had us tricked as the cache container was full of water so we picked it up and put it down when we heard all the water. Eventually we realised and emptied out the water but the log was unsignable. Out along the Seawall for the unofficial GCPT and we spotted a couple of small wallabies in the shade. A bit of looking for some but we got there in be end. TFTC.
TFTC!
Beautiful spot. Jumped off the boat after a morning of fishing nearby around the rocks. Was a bit soggy, patted dry, signed and returned to hiding spot.

Woo hoo getting the hang of this geocaching. A day kayaking and snorkeling with my Zumba Class crew just made better by finding a cache TFTH
Back from Straddie now to start on wavebreak, having a great paddle,I think we have judged the tide just right, this was a nice easy find.TFTC.daney-jones.
A boating adventure today with 22 out of 23 found (2 unloved) with Gulliverstravel54, cantcachus2014 and i. Starting our day at the runaway bay boat ramp (630am) we only had a small window it find 16 of them before the sea way was in a lock down at 10am as the 1st Xcats power boat championship was here on the gold coast and we didn't want people watching us while we were finding all the hides. Out of the area and clear of the lock down but 30mins we headed north the find the others, low tide up this way played havoc and killed so much of our time up this way. tftcsl
Find #3541Today we had aquired a vessel with which to collect some T5 caches and our team Of Gt54, Forbiddenground and Cantcacheous 2014 set of early this was the one of many TFTC
Went out today with Gullivers Travels54 & Forbiddenground to finally clear off these caches and turn them into smiles. Some were easy to get to, others were a bit tougher. We all hade a great day and adventure. Thanks to the CO's for placing these caches. Tftc
Out for a day cruising around on the Broadwater with my muggle brother and nephew and convinced them to accompany me on some of the local caches. After an aborted attempt at an approach on to the eastern beach earlier in the day due to some lumpy swells coming through the bar, and after a bit of fishing, we found a good spot to hit the beach on the northern side and walked our way to GZ. Was quite surprised by the number of cobblers pegs and prickles in the grass, not something I expected at the seaside. Spotted a likely hiding spot once at GZ and sure enough the cache was revealed. TFTC
Hmm is it that spot,or this one, or the other one? Einie meenie minie Murphy says you pick the wrong one most times hahaha. Future seekers might being a short pen or pencil to leave please, and we signed carefully on the damp paper after a successful hunt. Tftc.
Cache was damp inside and log book a little damp. Folks, don't forget to bring a pen\pencil. Great view of Spit from here. Tftc
Cache has gone missing im putting together a new cache but due to bad weather it may take a few days before i can place it.
I visited the cache yesterday & can confirm it unfortunately has disappeared. I will replace it as soon as i can.
The two vessels set off as part of Geo Cruise II embarking for foreign lands and a voyage of discovery. Little did we know we were actually boarding the slow boat to China.
A good day was had by all on the water, in the water, on land, through the forests and even venturing out to the ocean front (on foot).
Disappointed this is the second time with a DNF for ruzzelz . Happy that means I may need to come back again

Out with the Geo Cruise II group. No luck for the multiple pairs of eyes. Previous finder in the group confirmed the cache missing.
I am really not having any luck with this cache. Back for a second look and with multiple sets of eyes on the case, we came up empty handed after a good 15 minutes of hunting.
If the clue is no longer relevant, it would be great if it could be updated to suit the new location.

Spent a day of caching with "BBQ with Legs" GC3K45X he was my skipper for the day & new the water ways well. The weather & tides were in our favour, it was such a pleasant day out on the water.
Our first one of the day, just a nice walk along the beach to reach this cache.
Thanks for placing this cache daney-jones

Out on a southern adventure with Orange Crew and Luke from Slow Puncture and boy were we in for a day of surprises, ending in one of the worst storms in 30 years!!
We hopped, skipped and jumped our way over the waves, some a bit easier than others, and found a great parking spot to pull up.
Taking the hard way in, we made good time on this one.
I was enjoying walking around barefoot on the sand until heading back from this one! The sand was getting mighty hot and there were sharp seedpods all over the path!!

Out for a day of boating fun zipping around the Broadwater with Slow Puncture and Team DNA. We trudged up the sandhill after beaching on the Northern side and a short walk later we arrived to the gorgeous views here. Some searching soon had the container in hand, clue not really relevant anymore. Pics taken, onwards to Straddie TFTC
Today, Team Armenia set out for an excursion to the Gold Coast, primarily to attack Wavebreak Island, Terror Island, South Stradbroke Island and Coombabah Creek in Orange Crew's powerboat (tinnie).
Why Team Armenia? ORANGE Crew, Team DNA (of RED Rocket fame) and Slow Puncture (of BLUE Thunder not-so-much-fame). Know your vexillology, people (Yes, I did have to look up Armenia's flag...).
Having left the tinnie moored around the corner, we trekked overland and found ourselves with a nice view. Soon, an equally nice view of the cache came into view. Signed and replaced. We found an easier path back to the boat

We left the boat at Point Wavebreak and with Noo82 we continued walking from Little Bertha. Lovely views, a great sea breeze on a hot morning, not a muggle in sight and a quick and easy cache. TFTC daney-jones.
Down the coast attempting our 25 unique terrains in a day and this made the list. After parking the boat on the northern end of Wavebreak, we set off.
After a bit of a search located the cache. Log signed, cache replaced.

Wave break wonderland alright. Hot Wheels Duo and I walked and paddled the perimeter of the island today. On the way around we saw hundreds of jelly fish, pelicans, fish, a hermit crab and we were lucky enough to see a few dolphins on both side of the island. I must admit though, as I paddled back across the channel from Straddie I spotted a fin disappear from the surface. Of course my initial thought was a shark but once they surfaced again I realised they were dolphins. Relaxed and enjoyed watching them for a bit before they disappeared again.
HWD had already found the cache so once I beached my yak I jumped out with my phone and ran up to search. The nice new looking container was soon found.
Cheers daney-jones, awesome location.

This is a cache I would nit swap for anything...I was spending some time here waiting for Monkey Maker. While searching for the cache, some dolphins came right up close to the beach....such beautiful amazing animals and I could hear them 'chatting' to each other. Cache was soon found after that magical experience. Thanks for bringing me to this amazing place.
Found it! That's a big rock that needs lifting though so you'll need some muscle with you. Also has an ants nest with lots of eggs next to the cache. Good times
I was spending the day with Captain Terror and Herbz out on the water and it was time to get this cache. We weren't traveling by our usual green and white canoe but instead we were in Herbz' speedy tinnie. I hopped out and started climbing up towards GZ. Now I wasn't having much luck with caches on wavebreak today but this one was easier. I saw a spot and tried to move the rock to check underneath but I thought it was too heavy to be the right one. A minute later the Captain called me over. I was wrong. I signed my name in the logbook and replaced the cache as found. Thanks for the cache daney-jones.
I have been planning on finding this cache for quite some time now. It seems to have quite a rare DT that a lot of cachers would be happy to have ticked off their list! So seeing that it may be MIA was a little disheartening I have had a chat with a few previous finders about where the cache was located and the possibility of it actually being gone. The general consensus was that the cache is indeed missing. With this in mind I headed to wave break with a replacement cache in hand just in case! It would be a terrible end for this cache to be archived.
Today was a great start to winter, still not a hint of a chill. I decided that I would pack up the family and head for the water. We brought the jet ski along to have a bit of a play and transport the munchkins from the mainland to the island.
Once we had everybody here we were approached by a muggle son and father who were having troubles with their own jet ski They couldn't get it to work! So while Dav81 helped them out the munchkins and I had a wander along the beach and a splash in the water. My muggle brother offered to watch the munchkins while I head off to find this cache.
I made it to GZ and started hunting, I looked here and I looked there, looked in that and this, there was nowhere that the hint matched. Hmmmm, after a very lengthy search I had to agree with the previous cachers DNFs. So this is where I pulled out the replacement cache and found a spot for it at the base of a dead tree which was only a few metres from where I was getting GZ. There was not very much cover for the cache so I placed a large rock on top to keep it well hidden. I will post a photo to help future finders. If the next cacher could grab a reading of the coords that would be helpful!
Thanks for the cache daney-jones

The last on the island for Ruzzelz and I today and sadly, not a happy story... We looked in the obvious spots and came up empty handed. Checking the coords, they put us right on the edge of the bank and with an obvious fresh lot of trees now in the water, the cache could well have gone...
No lucky here today. Given most of the trees which were previously on the bank are now in the water it is possible the cache has taken a trip to New Zealand. Owner check might be required.
T-Tech and I hired Rosco's Tidemark double kayak and met up with teamdfl for some paddling fun on ANZAC Day. We set off from Harley Park and visited "Isle of Terror", Wave Break Island and South Stradbroke Island, collecting 10 smilies from 11 hunts. A great few hours [^]
After collecting three smilies on the Isle of Terror, we paddled across to Wave Break Island, and that was an adventure in itself with all the traffic on the water. We paddled on to the north-eastern tip, and here there were so many muggles learning to scuba dive! And T-Tech ran into a colleague from work! We eventually managed to work our way to GZ where we had a very thorough search, but the cache could not be found

Out for a day of caching via kayak with IolantheK and teamdfl (believe it or not teamdfl only came for single cache, such is her devotion to making her cache map all smiles [:o)]) [^]
After our meeting at Helensvale McDonalds we headed down and found a couple of car parks at Harley Park (Don't need a boat ramp to launch a Kayak [^]). Then off we paddled in a anti-clockwise direction between "The Isle of Terror" and Wave Break then South Stradebroke, back to Nth End of Wave Break and down its the west side finishing at Big Bertha [^]
We arrived at GZ, searched and search no sign of a cache , then back to the kayaks to continue [^]

We had decided to attack wavebreak island today and this is our next cache.
With the wind and waves against us and an out of bounds area for our hired
tinnie we had anchored the craft at the southern end and attacked these caches on foot.
It was warming up and the scrub getting thicker but the D/T had us hooked.
What a fantastic spot for a cache. Get's a favourite from me.
The cache was located and we added our names to the log.

Well you have definitely enticed us to explore this island! With great D/T's and only being in the area for a few days. These caches soon became a MUST DO and our determination had set in. Not sure how we would go, but we had to try We hired a boat from a nearby shop and set off on our way!
The wind wasn't kind to us and we were fighting it with the tinny. We were told by the boat hire people that under no circumstances were we allowed to take the boat to this side of the island. So Big Bertha was where we decided to park the vessel and start our adventure! After just completing 'CalD is breaking waves' we marched on towards this lovely fella [};)]
Bush was starting to get thicker and our effort was increasing! Finally we made it to GZ and did our duty. A quick high 5 and a little happy dance later we started fighting to get out! This was a mighty effort for us, so we were pleased as punch we actually did it Thanks 'daney-jones' for the fun, cheers!

After grabbing the two caches on South Straddy we made the treacherous crossing to this cache in our small canoe. we climbed the dunes and went to the obvious spot but were unable to locate the cache.
After a short search we found an alternative spot and made the find. Amazing the people that use this area for enjoyment.
Thanks

Found with Stooy while exploring these islands. It was quite the adventure, we even camped on the island for the night. Thanks for a great cache.
We decided not to paddle around the break wall in our little boats but headed inland and hike across this corner of the island. The area was swarming with muggles as it was a sunny weekend and obviously a great day for an island getaway. Thanks for the fun
Until now, all my high terrain caches have been long hikes up nasty hills, as I have never had the means to easily chase these water based high terrain caches. Well, the family fixed that with a nice plastic kayak, duly christened "Frank" as a Christmas present.
The family is still in North Qld visiting in laws, so I was free to go caching today. With temperatures predicted to hit 42 celsius in Brisbane today, it was a bit of a no brainer to be on the water today.
The plan was to grab the Terror Island caches first, then circumnavigate Wavebreak Island clockwise, before venturing over to South Straddie before returning. I wasn't keen to paddle in the current at the rockwall near this one, so I walked through the bush from the beach at the end of the northen rockwall. I was really disappointed by the broken glass and rubbish in the scrub here. Not really much of a wonderland. The pigs that leave this rubbish don't deserve to visit what would otherwise be a special place.
Cache was easily found as per the hint. This cache fills another blank square on my D/T matrix - that makes three today and only a dozen or so to go. Thanks for the cache, Daney-jones.

Last one for the day. I kept the geonanna company in the geo-mobile (see Doug.G photo) whilst I sent the geokids off to represent the family with Doug.G & peter37 providing the guidance for a successful find!

Unfortunately we moored the boat a little too far south and had to navigate thru the fallen trees as the tide was in. Found the cache with little trouble and walked back along the top of the dune . Disappionted with the trash left behind by campers so we did some Trash out while on the visit to the two islands.
Last T5 of the day and a nice little Find finally uncovered at the "other" stump. Took us a few minutes to realise we were searching in the wrong location... so once the alternate GZ was spotted, the box revealed itself rather quickly.
There were a bunch of scuba-divers nearby on some sort of beginner course. We chose not to give them any tips
TFTC - new D/T rating!!!!!

Today's goal was to 'find' the 10 caches out here on 'Wave break Island', 'South Stradbroke Island and the island south of Wave break Island.
But do I own a boat? Nope.
Did I organise to borrow someone else's boat? nope.
So I swam.
Low tide was around 0430 this morning so I started as soon as I could see the other side.
The plan was to go to Wave Break Island first (shortest swim), collect the 5 caches there, across to South Stradbroke Island, 2 caches here, a quick turn around back to Wave break Island, walk back to the south end and cross over to the next island for the last three and finish just south of where I left the car. And I followed the plan
What happened I did not expect was going to and from South Stradbroke Island starting near 'Wave Break Wonderland'. The swim over was easy...I knew with the tide coming in I would 'drift' a little north and I did (about 100m) no problem.
On the return I knew I would drift north again. So far so good. The swim back went according to plan until I got about 50-100m from the rock wall.
The current was like a very strong rip around the end of the wall. I got to about 30m from the wall and just got washed past the wall and beyond. Straight into a couple out fishing in their boat. They were kind enough to let me on board and then drive me around to the beach.
Back to the plan and all went well after that. Though the last swim had to be timed when there was less traffic and do it quickly. A great adventure that ended well.
This cache:
At first I though that nature had toppled the cache over the side but no.
I found it under quick a bit of 'cover' and it is dry and in good condition.
Thanks for the cache.

I have to admit that my boating skills were a bit rough and the tide was really low so I parked the boat on the other side of Wavebreak and trekked over to this cache.
A young couple had decided to put their tent about 20m from the cache. I saw them quickly retreat into the little tent as I approached (nudist perhaps?) and they remained in there until after I left.
I re-read the clue and found a spot to sit and get the cache out of the view of the tent.
With the log signed I headed off to let the tent dwellers get on with whatever they were up to before I rudely interrupted their time in "wave break wonderland" with my geocaching wanderings.
Thanks for the cache daney-jones. Nice one!!

We hired the tinny today and had a fun time caching. Parked up at the back beach and trekked over to the wave break beach. There was a big contingent of punters learning to SCUBA in this corner. Made a quick find and trundled back to find some of the newer caches.

A nice quick find after dumping off a huge bag of rubbish collected during the Wavebreak CITO. Thanks Herbz for the great cache.
Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
By the time I reached this lovely, I'd already done about one and a half laps of the island seeking a FTF and rubbish collecting, then back out in the other direction with PPrime doing lots more of the same
There was now a solid group of cachers in this area of the island and perhaps we were all looking hungry but not 'looking' very well. It seemed to take a bit for us to spot the only stump in the vicinity!
Noticed the cairn with flowers and wondered what had happened here?
Would love to come back to do some snorkelling in this region
All in good order and we just boosted the ink on the logbook somewhat!!!

Arrived for the CITO event and out with Lat&Long Junkie, Fangsoki, Agap2, we pulled up at this one after a big lot of rubbish collection.
A quick sign of the log and we were off. Such a nice place to visit TFTC

"Well, a little bit of a walk to collect garbage ... but this? This is NOT garbage, it's a cache, and right where the compass said it should be - funny that." Yep, this about summed up the morning. Rewind a bit ......
Drizzling, slightly windy Saturday - and I've driven to the Gold Coast for a spot of rubbish collection, geocaching, sausages, event madness and carpet bagging. With the delectable Miss Annie Ladybug for company we were circumnavigating this island anti-clockwise (No particularly good reason for that, just something to do) doing the Trash Out bit. With a full bag and emptied once already we arrived at a likely looking spot - some sort of memorial, not a cache! A short search and it was discovered in the next place I looked, although I hadn't noticed it the first time sadly. All signed and we were ready to trundle on with a smilie to our names.
Thanks for placing this cache, daney-jones. Found in good condition.

We were on Wavebreak Island attending the CITO Event organised by Herbz and as we wandered around the island picking up rubbish, we soon found ourselves at this cache. After a quick clamber to ground zero, the cache was soon in hand and the cache log signed. Thank you for having placed the cache daney-jones
Found while on a CITO event. Great spot for a snorkel. Geodog enjoys these kind of areas. TFTC.
Next up on the list, and we pulled the boat up alongside the beach, and made the very quick walk in. After quickly inspecting the grave, Captain Terror soon announced he found it

Gaz'n'Kab
The Gazest half of Gaz'n'Kab and I were motoring around Wavebreak Island in the mighty canoe, chasing floating rubbish for the CITO and caches for added fun. We were traveling northwards towards this one and I spotted the seagrass bed just offshore here and wondered what sea mammal may be down there having some lunch. Near the seawall there was some rubbish in the water so we grabbed that as I putted us in to shore to anchor up. Being a calm day there were no waves here to throw us around. Anchored up and GPS in hand we set off. Through the clear water, up the white beach, up some rocks (why did I come barefoot?) and along the path.
The first thing we noticed was the rock cairn and flowers but as someone had noticed a pet burial, we guessed we had found it. Some looking about some places and we weren't having much luck. maybe my eyes were still on boating frequency. I checked the description and soon after that spotted the cache. Out it came and the honours were done. I noted this one has a rare D/T rating, so that's always a bonus A lovely spot here and nice to have a cache to find as well. TFTC daney-jones

Having picked up a few bags of garbage and walked almost half the island finding this cache was definitely a team effort as everyone was searching the GZ. Cache was a little buried but in good shape. We all signed the log and headed on for more treasures and trash. These caches sure help break up the walk and make the CITO all that more fun.
Arrived with Mr LLJ, Fang and Ms Wig. Bumped into fellow CITO ers at GZ and we had a chance to catch up while we all signed the log.
My first time on this island, thanks daney-jones.

We found this one while circumperambulating the island on a CITO event; it's always nice to cache in a group . The cairn nearby suggested 'cache' to me on approaching GZ, but the hint for this one made us look elsewhere, fortunately. We were too busy collecting litter to check the water for any of the fish you mentioned, so we mgiht have to come back another day for a picnic and a snorkel. TFTC, daney-jones. =^.^=
Been meaning to locate this cache for some time now. Glad 'herbz' decided to have a C.I.T.O. event here, as it gave me the incentive to paddle over and pick up a few caches. Nice to see all the extra caches on this little island now.
I was perplexed when this cache was published - as Team Herbz had only been talking me the previous day about putting on here - and here's one just been published!
But it would have to wait - getting to Wavebreak is not an easy thing to do. And the CITO Event was a great excuse to grab it. Lat&Long Junkie, Pigwig2, Agap2, and I pulled up at this one after a big lot of rubbish collection.
We saw another team of CITO'ers who already had the cache out and graciously let us sign the log. The cache was in good condition. It's great to come back to this island. TFTC daney-jones

While attending a CITO event today we managed to find our way to this well placed cache. A nice spot for a snorkel near by for my next visit over here.
Thanks for showing us this nice spot.

I was on the island for the CITO event and joined others for the clean up/ cache hunt around the island.
WE were at the furthest point from our starting point. We checked out the nearby memorial on the way but did not disturb it as we were directed away by one of the group who had previously found the cache.
Signed the log as another group of cachers arrived traveling in the opposite direction around the island.
Thanks for bringing me here.

Caching my way around the island collecting rubbish as we go. Passed a large group of cachers or garbage collecters, not quite sure as I walked up to this one. A few people fishing on the beach but nobody watching in my direction. A quick sign of the log and then continue my lap of the island. Cache is in good condition. TFTC
Moored in the little cove in front of the dunes we started our CITO adventure, spoke to some local lads who had been enjoying the snorkelling and headed up. Found what we thought was the cache only to come up empty hand a little bit of a search later and we had signed the log (in good condition) in the presence of Goldielover, Stairman1 and Bristracker. Out on the island today with a Herbz organised CITO and it was a fantastic day all round.
We don't have a boat so I was determined to grab all the caches on the island including the newly placed ones for the event.
After my searching for the previous 2 new caches this was a nice quick find, all is safe and sound.
Thanks Daney-jones TFTC SL TNLN

Headed over to Wavebreak today to hide a few more caches for next weekend's CITO event. So this hide was a nice bonus especially as it filled an empty box in
our grid. We found it nice and safe and watched a large group of scuba divers and snorkelists messing about in the water while we signed the log. TFTC.

This was my main mission for today to fill in a box on the D/T matrix. I earned the terrain stars battling my way across the channel to the island. Managed to get knock off my ski right in the middle of the shipping channel Those big yachts are huge when they are bearing down on you in the water :-/. Made it across eventually and the actual find was nice and easy. Made it back to the car without swimming
A great cach for people out on boats furring the weekend. Shoes would have been handy but pushed through it TFTC
What a day. Paddled over to Wavebreak with a group of friends. When we got there we went for a snorkel and checked out all of the fish. We headed over to GZ and started to search the area. After a quick check of the clue I knew exactly where to look. Before too long I had the prize in hand and was signing the log. Thanks Daney-jones for bringing us over to this great place on the Gold Coast's door step.
It's ours! Found with Aussie L at 1.20 pm. Fantastic to motor out across the Broadwater in the hunt for a FTF. The little island is lovely but nitwits leave rubbish. Aussie L's son in law was a BIG HELP steering the tinnie. Took Terrain5 Barbie for a visit. Actually this cache was easier than the next one but more of that later. So excited to get to the island and to get FTF. Felt sorry for the cachers who had visited the island just one day before this cache was published. I would say take some food and water - the whole exercise took us nearly 2 hours from the time we "chartered" the boat. Charter boat? What charter boat?

Arrived back on the Gold Coast and late this morning discovered this cache had been published. No takers! Well, o.k. then. I could say it took a couple of days after publication as I had to build the ark, or then I could say it is a terrain 5 so we had to catch a lift with a passing shark, but the truth of it is that we had to persuade a son-in-law with boating experience to leave work and come and 'drive' us out there. It was very windy and choppy on the water today so it took a while to make it to a nearby location. From there it was a bit of a hike and we FOUND ourselves a CACHE! Woo Hoo! Now, are there any logs in the log book? NOOO! So YESSS! It is a FTF for Aussie Liahona with Bristracker today at 1:20pm. Thanks for the new cache daney-jones. One we are very happy to have found today. We so enjoyed our visit out to Wavebreak Island today we must award this a favourite point. Thanks for the fun!
Oh and I left a new trackable which I'm now dropping in. A little thong (the Australian type) for walking on the beach.

It's tempting, but I think we all know Aussie Liahona is out purchasing a tinnie.
