A quick stop after a long lunch with a cousin, why the rubbish here? Back in the vehicle and off. Tftc
Gave up and then decided to search further afield. No luck there either so was heading back to the van when Mr Beetle found the container in the obvious spot that I though I had searched fairly thoroughly earlier. Quite a few needles laying near cache so be careful with children near this one. Thanks.
# 6090 Found on the way east on our 2013 winter escape trip to Qld.
We are in Dalby for a short stopover to check it out.
No muggles around here today and a nice quick find.
Another day of the 31 day challenge completed as well.

Always thought that scarring was another tree trying to take over the other.. Thanks for the lesson...
A fascinating description of this scarred tree. If I had not read that I would have thought it was an aboriginal scar tree. TFTC Geomoccasin
I am glad that the cache notes explained why I had stopped here amongst Dalby's outer suburban sprawl
Geez !! The roads out here are not even on my mapping software !!
But the cache was a nice easy find, so something was accomplished [^]

Having got the Friday off work, we chose to make a four-day weekend out of ANZAC Day and head West. With the plan to catch up on a couple Caches in the Bunya Mountians, we chose the Jondaryan Woolshed to camp at and circle out from there. Trouble was, there were too many around here to be focussed.
From our camp, we headed into Dalby for a day of driving around and geocaching.
LOOK OUT for the sharps container! CACHE ISNT IT!

Found where we thought it would be and started to look around but found someone has decided to dump heap of syringes there so we gave up on this one. Next person needs to take a lot of care and wear gloves I think.
Just dipping a TB I forgot to add to the swag bag and it missed being logged as visited.

63km from home.
Our last find of the day, we had others on the plan but with house guests due and dinner still raw and frozen in the fridge, we had to cut and run.
Turns out we passed within a couple of km of 3 of the 5 caches we still had on the list, oh well they are still there for a another day.
Took nothing but memories and left nothing but our tag and footprints.
Hide, log and container are all in good nick.
Thanks for the cache Geomoccasin.

Thanks for a quick driveby enabling us to get on with the business of collecting more smilies. Interesting tree - makes you wonder what actually caused it.
1140hrs. A quick driveby as we were leaving town and heading west on holidays. TFTCSL
Out for a long drive today, 400+km and 24 caches later, round trip.
This was another stop along the way. I have finally made it to Dalby after a long drive.
This one was a quick drive by.
Thanks for the cache.

Nice big tree and plenty of places to hide a cache. Lucky for me coordinates were good and soon had container in hand. Fund at 1010. There was very little traffic about so it was not hard to replace cache at GZ. TNLNSL. TFTC
[FTF] Found it on a geocaching expedition before work. When I saw 3 new ones hidden by geomoccasin I had to go on a journey. This was the first of three attempted FTFs this morning. To find out how many I got, see my log for the second one at http://coord.info/GC3TX6Z
