I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi ajbenn
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards
TheCoddiwompler

Well we thought we had found this cache but it was just the taped magnet that others had been signing, as we then read in previous logs. Unfortunately we didn’t read back further until later, as maybe this was just a decoy and there is an actual cache here to be found. We think it needs a CO check.
In town filming the Autumn Festival. Street at GZ was crowded with people but all watching a street performer so had their backs to us Signed tape on the magnet as container and log missing. Thanks ajbenn.
A lovely town.So glad we decided to come here on the last but one day of our South Island adventure.Found what is left of this cache and like the others signed the magnet.Noticed the last people to log are some familiar names.
Also found the magnet, but that is not the cache which is gone.
Cache needs replacing.
NO CACHE HERE TO FIND.

Had difficulty with this one but realised we needed to look for something without a cache attached. Needed the clues from other cachers.
A short stop in Arrowtown on our way to fly home to nelson. Not enough time for caching in our cold wet central otago summer visit, but we were here for work after all. A great hide and a great invitation to learn about some of the history of this place. Thanks very much!
Logged on the tape like someone else had done

I'm from Northland and I'm down with my family for a 2 week trip of the South Island. We stopped here in Arrowtown for a look at the old miners village. Very interesting. We then had a wander around the town which was lovely. Such an amazing place to explore. I found the false cache - a magnet with duck tape attached on the right hand end. I took a photo thinking I'd found it. I'm home now and read a previous log saying they found this first then tried again but unfortunately I didn't try again. Just putting a note here for future hunters to say keep trying. Thanks for the cache
Saw the red postbox from the other side of the street and while the others were buying cherries / real fruit ice-cream, I quickly bend over at the right spot, grabbed, signed and replaced within a minute. Would have to Google about ER..
A nice quick find thanks.
Ms_KR and I decided to have an extended Show Weekend break, and today we cruised toward Omarama. A lovely day with plenty of little distractions to find.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Came back early this morning for this cache, as muggle central yesterday, made a quick find, TFTC
Found eventually after a bit of confusion from the GPS. Was a rainy Halloween so not too many muggles wandering around Arrowtown. Thanks!
With three hungry children and SO many muggles we quickly aborted and will try again another day
Arrowtown very quiet today. Maybe the snow put people off. GPS spot on. The force was with me today!! TFTC.
This face has been blue for quite some time. I spent over an hour in the rain searching for this some years ago. Today cab165 and I returned to convert. I came prepared with a coffee cup so I could look like I was enjoying the sunny seat inconspicuously. I didn’t need the coffee cup because I found it too quickly. I can guarantee it wasn’t there last time which makes me feel both better and worse for having spent so long looking. Spent the remaining time perusing the shops in the quietest Atrowtown I have ever been in. TFTC
#299 our hunt for the 300th cache in arrowtown goes well. To this one we came incidentally when looking for a spot where to hide from the rain and place to eat the icecreamtftc
Easy find in Arrowtown on a beautiful sunny day. Sorry didn’t expect to find a cache this morning so didn’t have a pen for log, have taken a log pic. Thanks for this one
I had an unexpected delay in Queenstown due to flight changes so managed to make a quick visit to my old dad in Alexandra and pay a visit to this beautiful town. The added bonus was a couple of caches. All good with this cache. TFTC
Stunning day roadtripping from Wanaka to Te Anau & picking up a few caches along the way with Ricardinho
Detour into Arrowtown for a bit of retail therapy for me & a cheeky cache by the post office

Had a good look around Arrowtown today. Just the one cache though, this one was simple despite it being reasonably busy. TFTC ajbenn.
Day 4 of a 10 day trip to Te Anau, and today is Wanaka to Te Anau. We came over the Crown Range, enjoyed a good ride and some great views, then popped into Arrowtown for a bit of casual shopping. Once deciding everything there is out of our price range we were off to Te Anau with just a few choice stops on the way. Nice day, great scenery, found some good caches. Thanks all COs.

Another neat spot..Jude_E and I spent last night in Arrowtown and are planning on exploring Queenstown and Arrowtown in the light snow. Thanks ajbenn for creating this hide. It was find 8700 for me.

Found, but was sitting on the windowsill of the post office. Assume someone had found it on the footpath. Replaced underneath
Quick stop on my way to Wanaka. What a beautiful time. It was quick grab since there aren't many muggles around right now. TFTC.

Found this morning on our way to breakfast on our TA thru-hike. Very quiet out here at 8 AM this morning. Such a change from last night with all the tourist running around!
We stopped off here on daughters advice and had an ice cream and a walk around china town and by the river as well as a bit of shopping. I did manage grab this cache as well. I signed the log and then I replaced the cache container as it was discovered.
Thanks for placing this cache
Thanks for placing this cache
Had to wait for some muggles to leave, made a switch over to that sitting spot to make the find! Love how hidden in plain sight these are. Tried to introduce a family with a small child to caching. Don’t know that they were as excited as I was. Thanks for the great cache!
Found this cache on our way from Wanaka to Queenstown. Stopped for a coffee in the nearby café and then came to find this cache which is no problem to locate. The nearby postbox is certainly a rarity.
We have quite a rare postbox in the village where we live in England. It is painted gold and honours a gold medal winner (local man Johnny Peacock) in the 2012 London Olympics.
Thanks for bringing us here. Have a favourite point. SL. TFTC.

After a short visit to Queenstown we went to Arrowtown as well. This little town was crowded... We were very lucky to find a short moment to find and log this cache.
Thank you for the cache!

Enjoying the 25th day of our 5 week road trip in NZ- greetings from Washington state. We are staying in Cromwell for 5 nights and today we came to visit Arrowtown. This is a busy place but I think I managed to find and return this cache undetected. TFTC
On our wonderful camper trip around this amazing country we visited so many beautiful places an stunning landscapes. A amidst these hills, mountains, beaches and grass lands were also a few boxes waiting for us to be discovered. This one was one of them.
