Well that was awesomely hidden.
Took a while. Hint is a bit of a..I was going to say it's a red herring, but thinking about it again, it's right on.
Thanks very much

I set out today to find this cache, I haven’t had any luck with it in the past .. checked the hint then remembered that it didn’t help me last time so I decided to ignore it and use my geosenses instead .. they had taken quite a beating over the previous twelve months so I wasn’t feeling confident .. still the sun was shining and it was a nice day for a walk .. as I approached GZ I thought “ now where would I hide it? “.. and there it was!!! Thanks 2rascals for the challenge.
Took the deadly treadly out for a ride along the Gardiners Creek Trail, and a few caches.
I think someone has run off with the gate! I can see what the hinges used to be attached.
After pondering for a while (lots of muggles crossing the road near here), I realized where it must be.
Nice hide method.
Thanks, Robmc.

Really nice deployment here. Took couple of minutes to finally locate it and indeed coordinates very good today. Another cache on the Gardiner creek trail found, but still more to go thou.
My only disappointed was I didn't bring my wallet to grab a coffee from over the road to celebrate the victory here. A satisfying find. [^]

Searched twice on the same walk, could not don't either time. Will come back later after doing more research from the activity logs
Out enjoying some recreation in the now expanded 25km zone. Good to spend some time outdoors and good to have some outdoor social interaction after so long.
Found some creative parking nearby and set to locating the cache. A clever hide this one!
Thanks 2rascals for placing the hide!

I used a stick because I didn't want to put my hands near the cobwebs and felt the cache so I had a look and pulled it out. TFTC
Ha ha. Worth every second of the 20 mins of looking.
The name of the cache helped given the gPS was patchy.
Fingers are enough no tools required. Nano indeed.

Yep, that's a tricky one, but persist. Read the logs when you get desperate!!! TFTC!!

Out bike riding today and the cafe was a good spot for a coffee and cake. Whilst there we planned our assault on this cache. We thought we knew where it might be as muggles were everywhere. Ten minutes later nothing was happening. I decided to try a whole new location. Here it only took a few minutes and I was onto it. Log signed and back as found. Not easy this one due to a bouncing cords.
Thanks

After playing Cluedo nearby on this mild autumn day, I took a break from the detective mystery work and came by to this cache... I had an eye spy look instead and was lucky to grab this cache on the first attempt quickly before the cycling muggles approached. Log signed and replaced promptly. Off to get groceries now and hope I’m half as lucky to find the items on my shopping list! Thanks for the hide at the start of a new trail to explore.
There were lots of people around and was a little awkward looking for this one but great little hiding spot!
That took us a while, but a read of the logs helped. A great hiding spot, thank you for the cache!
Great little find. Took a while to find it, especially considering the numerous cyclists around but definitely worth the wait
I have a big backlog of drafts I am now trying to get through. I've been good with some of the more recent ones, but some are now a couple of months old so it's well past time to clear them. Apologies therefore to the COs for the generic logs - some might get extra words if they come to mind. Either way, my generic logs should not be taken as any indication that I am not very much appreciative of all the effort the COs have put into making these caches for us all to enjoy. TFTC
Thanks 2rascals for the cache and hide. Was it 2nd or 3rd time here ? Anyway I had 10 minutes to spare in transit from pickups. I was determined to find this one. I had already found a cache earlier today for the 29th but thought what the heck.
Arrived without too many muggles around. Well within 3 mins I had the cache. I am sure I looked there last time but I believe the last time I was here there had been a little bit of cache creep ...!?
Anyway sad face turned to smiley today.

Had finished caching for the day (in mostly wet weather) and was heading home when I decided to try (yet again, with little confidence) to find this ‘annoying’ sucker.
Funnily enough, I found it quite quickly. I think it was my fourth search ...
A good day was turned into a great day!

Out to pick up a couple of caches and fill in another day on the caching calendar. We had been here before to no avail but came back today and within 30 seconds Mrs Pooky made the find in the first place she looked. Not sure why we didn't find it last time. TFTC.
Wow we went in, we went out, we went in and we shook it all about, well at least our GPS did. Frustration finally got the hold of me and I made a quick PAF to Astrobef for a hint as to which direction I should believe my GPS to follow. After a little more hunting I finally had the aha moment and found the sneaky little sucker. Log signed and cache safely back in place. TFTC
Too much metal around this one for my GPS to behave. This was my second attempt at this one and was about to give up again when I decided to try one more spot. Bingo! tftc
Attempted this as our first cache of the day and didn't find. Had a quick check again on our return to our car and was successful second time around.
There has been a bit of cache creep here due to somebody not putting the cache back where they found it. It is now back where it belongs.
Haha slow find for us but success in the end thanks my my daughter being willing to do the trickier searching methods
Great path for our bike ride today

Finally found it after some searching. Knew I was in the right spot from the great clues but just took a bit of time to actually get it in my hands. Such a beautiful day didn't mind the wait.
After a lot of log reading and confidence high I thought I’d get this one. But after a lot of poking around came up empty handed. I now see why people have been back up to 6 times looking where others have just walked up and found it. No smiley today.
It was dark and wet but not raining by the time we reached this location. The finding device played up under the heavy cloud and tree cover near GZ. It was the last cache of the day I wanted to get to complete my full set of clues for the Mystery at the Museum promotion, I hope. I was starting to suffer from hypoglycaemia and needed to eat and my heel was really painful, affecting my walking. Every step hurt by this time of the day. In short, I was desperate! The_Evil_Muggle came to help with the search and we both set about trying likely, and unlikely, spots where a cache could be hidden in the vicinity. I started a methodical search that involved a lot of bending over, while The_Evil_Muggle stretched up in the vegetation with a metal detector (small hand held tool). I turned around and found another place to search but didn’t quite follow through to the end. In desperation I used the PAF option, who thankfully keeps very good records of all his finds. It turned out that I had been very close to the money, so to speak, and renewed my search from a different angle and I had the thing in my hand within seconds! Luckily my small hands have some uses and tonight was their time to shine! The cache was soon extracted, signed and replaced under the street lighting, no torch needed and we were able to head off to a wonderful fish and chip shop nearby to relieve that need and then head home via a couple of visits to other cachers . What a cache! Favourite point awarded for an excellent hide, well suited to a night search.
Did not spend a heap of time looking for this one. Bit too exposed out with lots of traffic around
Suscoe was up in Melbourne today for a few reasons and one of them was to find some caches.
The weather was pleasant for a Winter's day, started out very foggy and still and cold but as the day passed by the fog lifted, the temperature rose slightly and finally the sun broke through with blue skies.
We had a good run today with weekend traffic much better than weekdays.
Thanks to 2rascals for this hide, a little bit of looking and checking and soon the hide was in our hands.
A tricky little chap.
Thank you.

Clever hide. We nearly gave up but the all the information you need are there.
Find #12 for the day walking a stretch of Gardiners Creek trail. We took in the possible locations, ZimbaW was trying to avoid looking in the right place, but I didn't hesitate and after a brief search made a stealthy retrieve. Loved this perfect hide, thanks for the cache 2rascals!

I was just despairing that this might take some time when the SisterOutlaw found it. Good one, Sis.
I am down from Queanbeyan NSW, visiting the out-laws for a week or so.
The SisterOutlaw and Muggle Father Outlaw joined me and the Ridgeopup for a nice long walk along the creek from Warrigal Road to Station Street. We scored 19 caches and the RP clocked up a few off-lead miles.
Thanks for the cache 2rascals

Greytiger and I found this one after a short search. We were real impressed with this hide so you get a Fav. from me
Thank you 2rascals, amaali and I thought this one was a great cache and hide, once found, we then had to retrieve it, with the right tool we had it in hand and signed. I will give it a fave.

Man I searched here for ages tonight - no joy! It must be a great hide - I will return!
Found it!!! Looking around I thought this might be one that required a different type of search. It was a nice, easy and quick find, I just really had to wait for the muggles to dissipate before I could get it. Thanks for the fun find!
Have looked for this one before and having read many past logs, I came today determined to find it. GPSr was of little help as it bounced all over the place. Switched on the caching sensors and started to eliminate the obvious possible hides. Then I noticed something that looked totally out of place and on closer inspection this very clever, very sneaky cache was discovered. TNLNSL. TFTC. Kkams
This is just so clever. I looked in all the wrong spots for ages and ages. I was just about to deem it a lost cause and I had a thought. Aha! There you are.
We fluked it. A million places to hi date. Coords jump all over the place.
Very sneaky...TFTC a great hide

Oh this sneaky hide eluded us today. We searched, we prodded, we poked. We looked up, we looked down. We tried to not look too suspicious as this is a very high muggle area. Anyway, you were too clever for us today 2rascals. Thanks anyway for challenging us to the max.

Probably the most challenging one on this leg! Thanks for helping out. @Geo101c, @scarybooks and @kyzabra
I get to Melbourne a bit for work so it was great to be able to head out and grab a few caches on this trip.
Out with work colleagues geo101c, hotpantsfamily, and scarybooks after work on a semi planned trip.
Divide and conquer here.
2rascals, Kyzabra found your cache Gardiners Gateway, on 10/10/18. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!
We’d love to see you at WA GOES BIG 2018 in Dunsborough on the weekend of 13th/14th October.

Oh gosh that is seriously a clever and sneaky way to hind this container. Definitely taking notes!
Last time I was here I found the cache but was unable to extract it from its clever hide. This time it was within reach and soon signed in a brief muggle fee opportunity TFTC 2rascals
After a few dead ends I was about to give up on this when I noticed something tiny out of the corner of my eye glinting in the sun, thankfully it was the cache! A very clever hide in a tricky location as it's quite busy TFTC
A lovely warm sunny winter's afternoon. what better time to walk a trail, get my steps in for the day, and see if I could remove a couple of sad blue faces from my map of this area. Way back in 2014 I searched and searched for this one, sticking fingers into every nook and cranny without success. This time after a few wanders to and fro tapping here and there and considering the situation, the first place I tried. Eureka! Can't believe I didn't find it before. Completed a circuit back to High St Rd past some soccer pitches, noting several other caches that I will store away for some calendar gaps. TFTC
Found it!! We super happy to find this one (one of the hardest we’ve had!). Great spot!
I tried to find this cache a couple of months ago without success so I thought I would try it again today when I was in the area. I was looking around in different spots for a bit before noticing another spot, where the cache was. TFTC
Accompanied with crank1 for caching day in Ashburton/Burwood area. Very freezy day but we still continue to do some caches to find. Found it. Thanks 2rascals for the cache.
