Thanks WeedyCC for hiding this cache, I needed a find for today to update my calendar and find streak. Your Traditional cache, Fused, was just what I needed. This is my find #1754 at 05:53 on 17/6/2024. FTF: Found with: selfWeather: coldMuggles: noneLight level: darkCache condition: goodDistance from GZ: Your cache was visited by my trackables: TB9QQD2, TB9KZ39 and TB7HH81
Waiting to pick up the kid took a little wander. Thanks to some previous logs for clues
Had to cheat with the help of other finder's photo! Tricky when one's gps isn't accurate enough Round the outside, round the outside... Love it, thanks!
Today we were supposed to be relaxing on a beach in the South Pacific, but cyclone Gabrielle was in our way so our cruise ship turned south from Brisbane instead.
Fine for us though, means we can catch up with EeePees and go caching!
We came to the college to pick up KingSmev, while we waited for him to finish I ducked off into the bush. Wandered around in circles for a bit, just after EeePees arrived to help I found it!

At first I was conFused about where to park. Should I drive into the school or park at one of the many access points along the road. I reFused to walk too far as it was raining. Quick look at the map, conFusion overcome. Into the school I went. Quick short walk and luckily easy find. This one has been deFused 28 March 2022 16:45. Thanks WeedyCC
Cool cache!! Approach it from an alternate angle and you’ll see it tucked in a tree. Brilliant! TFTC
I think I would have found a bit more quickly if I approached from a different direction!
Finding a way to this one proved a bit of a challenge but after a bit of a search on Google Maps i had an entry and a park [^]
Made my way to the hide which took a bit for me to actually spot, but once it was spotted i knew it was the cache
SL of a nice hide at 13:13 on Monday 28 June 2021.
The cache and contents are in A1 condition

Hi all, apparently the log book is full in this cache. Unfortunately we now live in the North of the state and wont be able to replace the log any time soon.
Would it be possible if somebody could bring a few small sheets of paper to add to the cache when next on the hunt for this one? From recent reports apart from this is the only issue and the cache is still going strong!
It would be a shame to Archive this one if its only the log book that's the issue!
Thanks

Reading Tashmaree’s log helped us make a quick find. Log is a bit damp and could do with being replaced.

We came with a replacement log but there was no point because it needs a new bag. I really don't get micros in the bush and especially don't get them without a hint. May be time to archive this because the owner can't maintain it. TFTC
Hi all, apparently the logbook needs replacing for this but we no longer live in Hobart!
I really don't want to archive this as its still there! If somebody could replace the logbook next visit it would be kindly appreciated!!!

Spotted the cache after a very short search.
The log is seriously overdue for a change.

Very clever hide. Didn't take to long to find. Be mindful of snakes on a very hot day.
This week's leaderboard had us trailing our friend Porkchop6977, which was something we couldn't let stand! Naturally, the only solution was to go out and and find a few caches and retake the lead!
We decided we'd go for a few caches in the Mount Nelson area, as we'd found a few there previously, and were keen to try to complete all of those nearby. In total today we found 5 traditional caches, with no DNFs. It didn't end up being enough to win for the week, but we still had lots of fun exploring the area!
This ended up being our last cache for the day. Having found a few in Bicentennial Park nearby, we set our sights on the caches sited near to Hobart College. Unfortunately, due to logistical constrains this ended up being the only one there that we had time for.
It didn't take too long to walk to the GZ from our car park, and (going on a hunch) we had a rough idea what we were looking for. Unfortunately there were plenty of places to hide such a thing, so it did take a little looking to finally locate it. Eventually we did though, finding a container that looked almost exactly how we expected it to.
Definitely an unusual cache! Not a bad little spot, and a fun challenge to find!

Tassie Trip Day 110 - Today we went to town and checked on the location and parking area for our little boat trip around the harbour and parking for the trip was all sorted then of to try again at a missed cache and do a couple of other caches so off we went collecting some more along the way
Making our way back we decided to go for a couple of nearby caches and this was soon found in a loction that was a little different for the device to be seen in.
Thanks WeedyCC for bring us here and showing us the area.

Thanks for this cache WeedyCC - it's a good one. I dnf'ed this one a couple of years ago. Today I finally returned with a previous finder and got a little nudge in the right direction - I just wasn't looking at things from the right angle! Glad to turn this sad face into a smiley at last. Cheers.
Out on a cold morning to get a few new caches which have gone down since our last visit to Tas, TFTC
Nicely hidden from the rummaging children. Found with assistance from Lansdowne Crescent Primary School Land 2 Sea team. Well done!
Clever cache found while out walking with Geoson and Geodog. Tftc. MattyH from Tassie
