Today the geocaching plan for Taurus Six and I was to head to Dwellingup to do some maintenance on our own hidden six caches there, we had had word that potentially one was missing and others needed new logs . We did a circuit to get there collecting new and some older caches in the Murray Peel area along the way first. The areas around Clifton Lake, Heron Point , Birchwood , South Yunderup , Pinjarah were where we collected todays caches from. It was perfect weather pleasant yet quite cool. It was great that to many new caches have been placed in this area over the last few months all in good condition. It was also good to pick up a few quite old caches and convert them into yellow smilies on the map. Once we completed all our tasks in Dwellingup we were on our way back to Bunbury when we saw the message for new caches out in the Bunbury area at Eaton just up the road. We got back as quick as we could and we noted there were actually two not one First to Finds to be had . After spending quite a while at the first one we reluctantly gave up with no success . We then made our way to the second one and after a few minutes we had cache in hand and it was a FTF. All in all a great day out geocaching. This was our fifteenth cache find of the day. This one has been on our radar for quite some time , we have cleared most of the others up in the area . Bee tried one entry and that didnt work , so we tried another entry and that got us within 200 metres of the cache . We had a nice stroll for the last bit and after a few minutes searching we had located the cache . Thanks for the cache find .
A surprise for the youngest Canpmellow jnr and geo princesses, a ride on the Hotham Valley. Pops favourite, steam engines. A stop here had us and another team trying to find it without others realising. A quick sleight of hand from CMJ and it was in hand. Found in good condition and returned TFTC
At the turnaround point on the Hotham Valley Steam Ranger and this cache was found with another team. Nice to meet you, Boyzrule5! TFTC Ioubla
Found this quick easy cache on my way to Dwellingup whilst watching the Gnanga fire.TFTC loubla
Found while riding the Hotham Valley steam train. Trying hard not to let muggles see me was super hard. Tftf
What a beautiful spot on this lovely day, thank goodness I packed my grabbing tool or I would never have been able to get this one.
Muggle Husband loves trains so we did the train trip from Dwelligup to Isandra this morning. I love caching so this cache was a bonus. I was pleased to discover that one of the volunteer staff of the train was a geocacher. He knew exactly what I was up to when he saw me clambering around.
Out and about today with geodog M as the weather is nice and decided a 2.4km round trip walk was just in order Beautiful place to have a stroll and grab a cache. Sltnln. Thanks for the cache guys
Couldn't find close parking so stopped at the gate and walked just over a km to get this one. Have added paper as the log is full. Cache still in good condition. TFTC
no ticket so drove to within 250m then walked ,log book full, thanks for satisfying my curiosity about this siding.
Oh yeah, you need to be stealthy when you're part of the train masses. Beautiful day. Cache too small for kitty TB, so he just visited. TFTC
We stopped off to grab this one our way home from the day in Dwellingup at the Hotham Valley Anniversary, what a beautiful little spot TFTC
This is the second time we look for this cache, the first time there were too many muggles. Found this time and there was no one around. It was an easy find in the end with a hint. Log book is full and we didn’t have anything to replace it. Thanks for the cache.
Awesome. Didn’t know this would be here. Thanks. Needs new log book though. Thanks. Bring a picnic next time
Spending a couple of nights at Pinjarrah Holiday Park so a little caching was happening today .
We did think about this one yesterday afternoon as we were heading to our destination but thought better to come today while not towing anything which was lucky as our track driving was longer than needed to be.
Really thought it would be a hard find but thankfully only took less than a minute.
Thanks for bringing us to this location

Had a great train ride on the day of the steam festival. Not a good day to find this cache though with 320 people on the train today.
Another trip out into the hills and today it was to catch the train with the soon to be three geo-sons.
While everyone was watching the train coupling I made the quick grab of the cache, TFTC.

A beautiful day and had to drive over to a friends farm so decided to take a slow drive and pick up as many caches along the way until the daylight ended. Visited a number of historic sites that I have driven past many times and not known they were there and also visited a few spots that were on the to do list.
An enjoyable afternoon
A quick find along an interesting track
Thanks for the cache loubla [^] - we made the find and the cache was in good order and the log dry .
This was find # 2 of 14 and 0 today giving us a total cache count of 3372.

Spent the log weekend as camp cooks for our churches youth camp at Nanga.
After a trip down to Pinjarra I detoured to the siding on the way back up the hill. Took a minute or two but eventually found the cache. TFTC

Hi there loubla.
We found your cache **"Isandra Siding"** at 11:01:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 14995.
We started the day off by nominating a cache some distance away from our camp site and then took a route that was mostly determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the area & ended up finding quite a variety of container types, and sizes hidden along our route.
We found 10 caches today & DNF'd 2. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

First cache found for the day, after DNF Came in by car on way back to Pinjarra TFTC!
Hi there loubla - After the Event cache in Pinjarra this morning I returned to Fairbridge to hunt the caches along the entry road and this is our find 3908. After leaving Fairbridge we headed towards Dwellingup before returning towards Pinjarra. This cache was noted on the GPS and had to be hunted. On arrival at GZ it was found and signed quickly. SL.Thanks to loubla for the cache.
Nice picnic area here but doesn't look like it gets used anymore. Interesting old graffiti covered carriages nearby. Spent quite a bit of searching here, thinking I was looking for a small container but turned out to be a micro.
Thanks for the cache loubla.
Thanks for the cache loubla.
I rode the bicycle from Pinjarra Historical Railway Station to reach Isandra Siding this morning
Looks like it has been a while since a train stopped here !! [:o]
Rusty rails, leaves piling up around the picinic tables !!
There is maintenance work happening on the line between Pinjarra and Dwellingup at the moment,
so this spot should seen some rail-borne visitation soon
TFTC !!

While visiting our daughter and her family in Perth, we took the opportunity to the Hotham Valley Rail Trail series and other nearby caches we came across
Luckily for us we found the track to be nice and dry and well graded for most of the way with only a few places where our paranoia got the better of us when we thought we might put a scratch on our son-in-law's car All was good though and we got through it all unscathed
Thank you loubla for having placed the cache and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Out on the road today with Loudy16 to grab as many as we can. Decided the Procrastination Installation and Choo Choo series would fit the bill.

Came this way to do the choo choo series . Grabbed this one on the way with grene11, geo granny and blaze169. Tftc
We had set this weekend aside to attempt the Choo Choo Series, hoping for cool weather before the heat of summer set in.
Found a neat camp spot on the way up from Busselton then got to Dwellingup fairly early this morning after a beautiful sunrise.
We hit the track full steam ahead and made it through with some interesting finds along the way.
We had a few laughs with Geosmurfs as we followed the trail, no creepy crawlies and no slithery surprises anywhere to be found, thankfully.
While out doing the series, we came across this one and came up trumps.

I found it. I left my mark. I replaced it and I left. TFTC. To many muggles when I went by train so I found a way in by car
Place was deserted and quiet. Easy chance to look around. Didn't take long to find. Love this old railway line. Lots of interesting history and nature along it. TFTC loubla.
What a bonus - the morning train was just leaving and it was just up from some of the choo choo series we were doing.
Quite a difficult find due top the intense amount of muggles surrounding the area.
In Dwellingup for a trip on the Hotham valley train. When it stopped at the halfway point to return, we were able to quickly grab this cache.

Parked the car at Dwellingup railway station then rode my Mountain bike to #1 of the series. I then headed back along the track/trail picking up these caches and the Isandra siding cache too. An excellent series and an excellent time had riding and photographing Steam trains.
Now this is what I call a proper rail trail caching experience!
True mountain biking with MUD, rocks, trenches and the like in a forest, AND, A STEAM TRAIN which I met going up and down.
Took several photos, all in #1 log.
Thanks everyone, excellent!

We'd been to Dwellingup for the day and were making a few grabs while in the area. Spotted this one on the radar and made a short detour for a quick find here. Signed the log and continued on our way down to the flatlands.

Good ride through here on MTB. This spot provided some welcome relief on my return from the Rail Trail. TFTC and showing me this great picnic spot.
Originally logged under family caching name, clan-wallace, now relogging under my own name.
Not a muggle in sight but even Geohubby who is a self pronounced King of mint tins took some time to find this one. TFTC
Drove straight past this one a couple of weeks ago when we started the Rail Trail series. Had to make a short detour today to pick this one up! TFTC loubla!
Day thirty two of the WA road trip with BettyBoo3747.
Spent the day travelling around east of Mandurah doing the odd cache, and sampling a few series.
We tried a dozen or so of the Hotham Valley Rail Trail, and this cache got swept up in the drive.
Not sure about finding it when the train is in! Took us a bit of grovelling to grab it today - and there was no one around.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 8067. Another lovely Autumn Day so Robmc and I head out to find some of the local challenges, puzzles, trails and other sundry finds. It's ANZAC Day so - "Lest We Forget"!
Didn't come by train today but gathered it up as we were doing the first few of the Hotham trail. Didn't take too long to find with the aid of the hint. Took a Fremantle Lighthouse tag and left one of my Bicycle Pathtags.
Thanks loubla

Having just finished the 100 caches of the Hotham Valley Rail Trail, we could not drive past this cache without one last stop. A find here by Helbren, after which we had a well-earned coffee and went our separate ways.

We had now finished the 100 caches of Choo Choo series plus a couple of others making my stretch for the day 103. Seeing as this was just after our last find then we had to grab it and Helbren could check his tyres while m4yb and me enjoyed a coffee. Wow what a day.
Thanks loubla.

I was going to see my sister who was in the city so as Chwiliwr was being left alone he decided to go for a drive and complete this Choo Choo series which we had started some time ago.
Took a break from the series and called in to find this cache. Found without problems

At Home i spend several hours for the right solutions, now we should get the reward.
First we try it with our 2WD, but after a few Km it was over !!
Now we search for parking places along the road and then we walked to the track.
The afternoon was so hot, and after 30 Caches we was at the end of our forces !
Many Thanks to the Owners for this beautiful Rail Trail, ALB_atros

After a long absence from caching for various reasons, today was the day where I got to go out for the day, and as it turned out it proved to be a very successful day.
Mr. Wileyclan rang and suggested we attempt the CHOO CHOO (Hotham Valley Rail Way) power trail; armed with the Nissan XTrail, lots of water and a determination to complete this series in a day, off we went.
This proved to be a very tempting minor detour from the power trail to achieve our first traditional cache for the day. A quick find and off we went again
Thanks for the cache [^][:o)]
This is cache 5 of 106 for today
This is my find number 3023

TFTH Loaded the geobike in the boot and set of to find some of the Choo Choo series. It was a warm day and soon realised we wouldn't be completing the series all in one day especially by push bike. We still had a great time finding caches and also picked up some odd caches we didn't find on the last trip down SWH.
TFTC! Found this cache today whilst we drove down to dwellingup and surrounds to have a crack at the Choo Choo Hotham valley series. Thanks for the cache.
Found it. Doing a scouting mission for the choo choo series and decided ti pick up a couple of traditionals. TFTC.
Out on the hunt for the cho cho mystery caches and found this little one on the way great spot spent a little to long here but mostly cos geo partner looking at the train near by tftc!
Found this one while doing a few of the Hotham Valley Rail Trail Series with IQO. Would be tricky to retrieve if the train was in. IQO did the honors. TFTC Loubla.

Found today with a crew on the hunt for hotham series. I managed to spot this one at the right angle then someone else grabbed and we signed. Thanks!
A few weeks ago it was suggested by tmrwtt on the Geocaching WA facebook page that a group assault be organised for the Hotham Valley Rail Trail series. It suited me down to the ground, I was approaching a major milestone and the cache that I had picked out for the magic number was down this way as well. Put the date in the calender and convinced the muggle wife and daughter to come along as well, the geodog Charli, as always, was very excited to join us on our caching day.
The plan was to knock off 27 caches in the morning and after a picnic lunch we would head off to make the milestone attempt with our 28th find for the day.
So after meeting up at the Pinjarra Bakery and explaining that we wouldn't be with them for the whole day four teams in three cars set off in pursuit of some train spotting. It was a fantastic morning with some great people, tmrwtt, Luna Maya and Ladyjet86, Although they won't admit it I reckon the muggle wife & daughter got a kick out of it as well.
Couldnt go past without grabbing this one as well. Ladyjet86 did the dirty work here.

Had so much fun on the steam train, but had to wait until most passengers were back on the train to look for the cache. Got back on the train just in time for the whistle blow.
Our last camping trip to Dwellingup before the enforced camp fire ban and what a cracker of a weekend it was. Weather was glorious, camp site at Charlies Flat perfect as usual and we picked up this cache while completing the first 'choo' of the Hotham Valley Rail Trail. TFTH.

Out and about having a crack at the choo choo series, we couldn't just go past this beautiful spot, thanks to Autumn Owl for putting in the hard yards on this one TFTC
Doing a nearby series of caches we couldn't go past grabbing this one in our travels. Such a nice shady area, so beautiful. I stood there imagining if this was still a train stop and thought wouldn't it be wonderful if more train stations were built with beautiful surroundings such as these. After a short search we had the cache in hand and I unnecessarily over did the physical part to get there, my mind seems to stay young when my body just won't cooperate. I should have let Fussbit grab it. Oh well I will pay for it later LOL Thanks Loubla for showing us such a nice spot
found today while doing the gotham valley series. cleverly hidden cache - i imagine it would be pretty difficult to find with all the passengers milling around! tftc

Came on the train. Searched as well as I could with so many muggles about but no luck
Came out with hubby to do the new Hotham Valley Rail Trail series and passed this one along the way.
Hubby made the find after I read him the clue.
Picked up a Pathatg for our effort.
