Geocaching with @jesswrigley on a nice Autumn day. The plan was a hike around Hale Conservation Park that took a few hours, which was a nice walk seeing mica deposits, a dry waterfall, and views of the surrounds, followed by a stop for afternoon tea at a Kersbrook cider place.
We happen to come across 3LG and hevwalker at this location, who had been here for some time without any success. So we joined in the hunt. It was interesting the level of detail that the search was doing, digging deep into the branches. We researched hard and looked around the trees, consulted previous logs, even made a PAF, but nothing turned up. We suspected what we were looking for, but just couldn't make the find, and think it may be missing. A CO check may be in order. It's a shame to not find this high favourite cache today.

Finally got it. Wood have been awesome when first hidden. Unfortunately a little worse for wear these days. But still a great hue. TFTC.
This one had me going around in circles even with past log hints... damn Sour Sob weeds concealing things! It was eventually found and like other logs say, it is wet through, so I signed a piece of paper and placed that in the cache aswell (09:40 on Sun. 29/7/18)

Out with jacknor chasing his D/T grid ( or getting at least a few needed ones ). nicely cammoed cache but mint tin missing the lid and log soaked. Stamped the piece of cardboard someone left as a log sheet.
I met Anymules for a coffee at Glenside where we left his geomobile. We then spent the day caching to find him as many Reel caches as we could and any others that we might be passing. Then it was off to a Puzzle solving night before calling in to grab a few of the solved puzzles on the way back to his geomobile. [:o)]
Great hide once upon a time but looking very sad at the moment. Could do with some owner intervention. [B)]
**Thanks jrejos for this cache. **

A quick and easy park and grab. Log was soggy. Tin was rusty. Could use a bit of CO TLC.
Thanks for the cache jrejos. Found on 16 Mar 2018 at 2:47 pm. Find #6076.

A lot of traffic coming by and stopping in nearby spots made this one a little tricky, but after reading a few previous logs, we had it fairly quickly.
Great little hide, very clever.

Me bike ride from towne today,
took me through the Anstey Hill Reserve
From the top of the range,
it was an easy ride to reach this cache.
And while the traffic relentlessly buzzed past above,
I took the advice of a previous finder,
and started kicking things
It wasn't long before something I kicked fell over [:o]
Hey !! That shouldn't do that [:o)]
Cache found
All good for now,
with the new logbook,
and slightly less floodprone position of the cache [^]

Found by my method of wobbling everything that looks like it shouldn't wobble. Tftc. After lunch at Inglewood inn.
Found It!
Spotted it after a bit of wandering around. The contents of the cache are very wet (not surprising given it is hidden in a creek/drain). I added a new logbook but it needs some attention before the next rain event.

Found after a great lunch at Inglewood Inn. Took a while to find as it's not in the obvious area. Couldn't sign the log book as it's absolutely soaked. TNLN. Cheers.
Scrambled all over the place as the GPS wasn't cooperating at all. Re read some logs and it clicked. Very clever hide. Kids loved it. TFTC.

Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi. Just grabbed the cache for the day nearby and noticed that this one was nearby so decided to detour and find this cache as well. Parked nearby and started searching and quickly made the find. What a great cache. Love the work. Favourite point applied. Gratias pro cache.
Perfect weather for a caching tour so I thought I would clean up a few tradis close to my Adelaide home zone.
Clever hide didn't take too long to spot. Great cache.

Quick find with ozmilo on a mini caching tour in the foot hills. Thanks for the cache.
Replaced log wont last long and container obviously isnt waterproof. Please replace with waterproof container to completment the location of this hide
Out for a drive with Purrfect Di between night shifts.
Stopped on the side road, a short hunt revealed the hidden tin.
Nicely hidden - well crafted - but an unpainted mint tin!!! Arrgh
Sadly these things are NOT waterproof and the log was just a mushy blob.
Replaced with a sheet from notebook in a zip bag but will need a new log soon.
tftc jrejos if you want the mushy log let me know - not really much use though

Well done. Nearly gave up on this one. Was worth persisting. Log book too soggy to write in. TFTC.
Ha awesome hide. Out on an adventure today to try and hit 1000 finds. Stopped for this one and glad we did. Logbook is totally wet but otherwise all in good nick. TFTC fave point for your efforts here
#1787 Rather cold wind blowing and rain clouds accumulating dampened the enthusiasm after our initial search revealed nothing. The number of favourites and glowing log comments spurred us on. Eventually I decided that initial thoughts are not always best thoughts and had a rethink. Then the ah ha moment!! Yes, a favourite from us too - we really appreciate the time and effort that is put into innovative and different cache hides. Thanks and well done jrejos.
After several attempts on separate occasions we can finally cross this off. Very clever! Found with tree_trunks
Found with sniffer_dog. One of the best cache hiding spots i've seen! Third times the charm! Glad we came back for one more try!
Found while out caching with knightech and ma77hew. Took some time to find due to the sneakiness. Earned a fav point. TFTC

On a full moon night cache adventure :c) found some awesome caches today, very creative. loving the efforts people take to make and hide these!!! TFTC!!!
Earthlight, X-trailers, Mrs Flipper and Owl set off on a fun day of caching. A very clever hide, made easier by shouted instructions from the peanut gallery who had already found it. Still worth a favourite point!
Set out to grab a few caches (and place some) with earthlight and Gayle from Flipper & co in the hills with the rain coming and going we managed only 8 finds but hid 7 so it was a good day for us considering how late we started, a cute little hide this one and very well put together. TFTC
Forgot to log this one, found with Cache ISM a couple of weeks ago. Good cammo, I don't know how Cache ISM found it at night. TFTC

Today we are driving up into the Hills and thru the Barossa. Parked safe here and wandered over to the area of GZ. Knowing this would not be a straight forward find I decided to look for a Camo hide. I have seen a few hides using this method in the past and soon had exposed this wonderful hide right out in full sight. Good construction and good placement. A favourite point from me. TFTC
Camped at Mt Crawford Forest for a few days, on our travel around Oz co-inciding with attending the SA Oz Mega @ Murraybridge. We noticed that there was a Maker Madness Event within striking distance so the plan was hatched to attend today. We left the caravan at 0730hrs and returned after 5pm. [^]
Well we thoroughly enjoyed the tourist drive to get today. Some of the tricky parking was interesting in the landcruiser. Think the WA plates, helped us with other cars giving us space! [:o)] A beautiful scenic route on a glorious day had us passing close by to this cache so of course we had to stop
So many people out enjoying the sunshine, loads and loads of motorbike riders being a Sunday!
Oh dear. Mr Felix jumped out to grab this cache and thought it was going to be just another driveby. When he didn't return quickly, Mrs Felix checked the phone. Some hints were gleaned from the logs but all Mr Felix was told was that it had 21+ fave points and he had his hand on the cache immediately!
Hmmm it is almost identical to a few we have at home. Lovely placement and surely a fave point from us.

Passing by today, so stopped for a few caches along the way. This one had us up & down the road a little, until the signal settled. Then we were scratching our heads, but trusted the gps and there it was! A fantastic job on the camo – worth a favourite point from me. Log now only slightly damp and signed with ease. TNLN SL Thanks for the cache.
Don't know how I spotted this in the dark but I did.

The GPS had us traipsing from one side of he road to the other and back again and back again and back again. How many cars really need to use this bit of road! Eventually we narrowed down the search to a particular side of the road. Lots of searching later the laughter rang out. Wasn't too sure at first if it was laughter of frustration or laughter of relief. We signed the log book and replaced the cache before continuing on our way. Thanks heaps for an interesting cache!
Came here about 6 months ago and had no luck so thought today is he day. Within 2 mins had it in hand. I have seen this type only a few months ago other wise would have been stumped log is soaking and had no extra logs with me needs to be replace ASAP
Do not like to give up and this one had us going for quite a long time. Gpsr seemed to be locked in one spot in spite of this we kept looking and eventually in desperation started trying things that did not really seem that feasible Bingo cache was in hand now the number of fave points makes sense, A lot of thought and effort has gone into this one sorry we cant add to the fave point tally at this point as we are at zero points again .The reason for going out today was to rectify this problem but alas this did not occur.
Thanks for the cache jrejos

The GPSr didn't want to settle funnily enough, so it came down to a matter of ruling things out, fortunately for me I started in the right area or i could still be there, a fantastic effort put in for the cache. TFTC
A great hide that had me going for a while! Well worth a fave. Thanks jrejos
Found by geowife while I looked in all the wrong places. I actually did look there but it didn't twig and I moved on. Great hide, much appreciated. TFTC jrejos!
Mr Tardis found the cache in the first place he looked. Don't you just love it when that happens? A great hide, just some dumb luck by Mr Tardis. A favourite point for your efforts.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache jrejos.

Great find, thanks so much for this tally well camouflaged cache. Big props to the hider of this cache.
We were up against the clock with this one with school pick up only 20mins away but with 18 fav points and only being around the corner how could we resist! GPS was all over the place but after a search Mohuja and I discovered it - very clever! TFTC!
found at 1304hrs after a bit of a search, had to read the logs & then step back to re evaluate my search thinking. Nice hide, the log book was soaked so replaced with a new logbook. Didn't have a zip log bag & the original was pretty much shot. TFTC
Out for a run in the hills for the daylight hours as we are in Adelaide for the Cabaret festival. TFTC
Visiting Adelaide after dropping into family at Kangaroo Island. There certainly are plenty of caches around this part of the state so I will do my best in the time available to bag some and show some foreign trackables what our beautiful country is like. Wherever possible I will replace log bags and top up caches with odds and ends. Thanks for placing this cache.
very very clever. muggle went soon after I posted dnf. Came back and found. left 2eyes to see over the Cache.
Hi there fellow geocachers.
As noted in the previous log, this cache needs a new log, and maybe a new plastic bag to hold it! I am currently overseas (and will be for another six months). if you are planning to visit this cache sometime soon, can you please do some minor maintenance on my behalf. Much appreciated. jrejos.

A full day of caching and one last stop before we finish for the day! We made the quick detour and Mrs Jedi hopped out to find the cache. It was a quick find but an excellent cache with great camo and work put into it. The cache may need maintenance though. The log was absolutely soaked and we could barely sign our name. The recent rain seems to have dislodged it somewhat because of the now-soft ground and so its not very secure at all and only sort of being held in place. The owner may want to go out and check on it, I'd hate for a cache thats had such work put into it to be lost! Thanks for the cache jrejos!
Picked up on a morning run around Anstey Hill CP. I like the effort that was put into this one, especially as it was placed around a lot of distractions. The little ant colony was the icing on the cake. A favorite point from me.
Nicely done, it had us fooled for a little while. A lovely spot to make a slight detour to on our way up into the hills.
I had headed out in a rush for a FTF effort nearby and then, since it was such a lovely morning, decided to do just a couple more caches too.
Those couple more ended up being 17 attempts: 16 were successful locus cache events and 1 was a DNF
Cool little hide!
I arraived at GZ and scanned the area and wondered then saw something worth a second look
Definitely worth a second look as it was the camo on the cache!
Clever! [^]

Once my phone finally honed in on GZ, found the hide quickly. Not likely to be found by muggles with such great camo. Very nicely done. TFTC
