Unfortunately the cache has a hole in the bottom and some how a slug got in - I managed to save a little bit of log sheet and although the cache is in place it'll need an over-hall at some stage.
Another boys day out with no particular destination in mind and just ended up here
This one took me a long time and in the end I had to employ a little help from KiwimikeBOP. I couldn't figure out the hide until... wait, there it is - cheers mike and cheers again argazaregare.
Earlier this year a group of Tauranga based cachers started a Geocaching Bay of Plenty Facebook page. 70 cachers currently make up this closed group and have already organised various events thanks to the connectivity facebook provides. Please check us out if you haven't already.

Poked all around the obvious tree, GP is all over the place. Will return another day
7102. After a day geocaching with Nodo, from Waihi to Whangamata and back we did a bit more back in Waihi. Found 29 caches in total. This was cache number 25. A sneaky hide but a quick find. Thanks for the cache. Rodney and Iris.
Was over in Waihi today catching up with a mate and when I loaded up my app this one was only 300 odd meters away, So we both went for a walk down the road and started the hunt for the cache, This one took a little while and in the end was in the first place we looked just not well enough. Cheers nice cache and good to keep the streak going
A cool spot here with the trees dropping leaves of all colours.
Easily found thanks to the hint and title.
Nice idea, and good to see tree not damaged at all.
TFTC.

I was very thankful I had my waterproof boots on walking through the wet grass to the GZ. Loved the tricky hide.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Have to admit being here once before. In hindsight, 'Description' says it all ... read it. Had to scoop out some yukky spidery stuff tho'. No prop, as many geo-twigs on ground around clue. Great hide and deserves a FAV from me. Cheers for this placement. Enjoyed the hunt.
No luck with this one, despite approaching from a couple of different directions and checking all trees. Thanks for bringing us here.
Out and about in Waihi today before the BBQ and Camp-Out Event at Dickey's Flat campsite gathering requirements towards our GIO Licence challenge. Had to wait for a muggle walking his dog to pass before we could start looking for the cache. A sneaky little hide, thanks for the cache!
That's a good way to keep the cache dry! -but not our feet on this drizzly day. Thanks for the cache on our way to Whangamata.
2.20pm - What a sneaky hide, bit of a struggle to get but cache all well. SLTFTC
It was tucked in nicely, missed it the first time! The log is nice and dry. Tftc
Had a look for this cache last time I was here and couldn't find it. Had another go today, and after a more cautious look I spotted the wee thing. Great hide, I know I looked here last time, obviously not hard enough. TFTC.
284 Extraction took some time. log wet so left another piece of paper as temp log.
The grass was damp but the skies weren't so we had a lovely stroll along to GZ and managed to extract the cache without too much trouble. TFTC
Well I had a preconceived idea about this one, but it was not that and became surprisingly simple in the end. TFTC

Walked around in circles for a bit before re-reading the description. Ah ha! It's times like this that it would be good to have a short person with us (which we didn't as we couldn't convince them to ride the rail trail with us ). Sneaky hide! TFTC.
This one was fairly easy to find, when cache was retrieved we noticed the container was cracked and log was damp so contaner needs to be changed. TFTC
gps had me looking over the other side but after a little poke around we found it-clever little hide -cheers jumbo
Chasing up a few caches in Waihi on our way home from the beach. Very clever hiding place. Thanks.

Took ages before I found it. Note to self, read the whole description not just the first line. TFTC
Easter Tuesday (Bonus Day Off Work). Have been on 'lock down' since Saturday... family holiday at Maketu. Wasn't allowed to geocache, but I did scout some excellent locations for prospective hides. Will have to wait for the school holidays for action.
We got a visitor around lunchtime... So while the family were preoccupied, I snuck out. Decided to see how far I could go within a very short timeframe...
Waihi... Was here in December, but missed this cache. Followed the gps to the tree and was expecting a tricky tree cache climb or an interesting contraption... Found the cache quickly. TFTC.

9.30am. Have never noticed this wide walkway here before. Heaps of walnuts on the ground. Took a few minutes to find this nice hide.
Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.
Third day on a trip up north.
Good weather until afternoon when some heavy showers of rain got me pretty wet.
Soon found this good cache - tricky hide.

Quick and easy find on the way back to Auckland from an epic 4WDing weekend. Great to find it this time after stopping here on our way to Tauranga a month ago. Found with Greenblat, FMZ and KiwiLeon. TFTC!
Found together with FunkyMunkyZone Mike-miss & KiwiLeon
Description says it all. The Munky went at it like a rat up a drainpipe.

Nice little walk up through the park here and not exactly the hide we were expecting. A few jokes ensued about sticking things up things, but all above board for sure . Nice hide, TFTC!!!
Had to look twice before spotting it. Lucky for me I found it just as I got a call for picking up Mrs FriwiNZ from the supermarket whiouu TFTC
Called in here while the main street was closed off for the santa parade. Nice spot.
Many thanks
Many thanks
Great place for the geopup to have a run around while we completed the search. Sneaky hide TFTC.

Slight gnashing of teeth on the extraction but finally got there to sign the log. Repositioned so extraction will not require of cutting down the cache holder for future geonuts

#947, Quick find; although it seemed to shoot back in on replace. May be a little harder to retreive. TFTC
Nice stroll to GZ. Although it took us ages to get the jolly thing out. Hopefully have replaced it correctly to make it slightly easier for the next visitor. SL. TFTC.
Took us ages to winkle the jolly thing out too... Sorry we missed you Darby & Joan, would have loved a catch up. TFTC

The weather was not too bad until I opened the door of the van and then it decided to pour down. Waited a few minutes then as the rain settled made a quick dash to GZ. Heard the local copper speeding by. TFTC

Good hiding spot, well suited for a cache placement. The cache container is cracked along the base but it's still dry due to the hiding location.
TFTC!

Very nice walk along the river. Great cache location. Thanks for bringing us to this reserve. TFTC
Came over to Waihi to shop and to catch up on a few new caches
