I noticed that this cache has been in need of owner maintenance for an extended period of time well in excess of the period of "a few weeks" as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the archive listing link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) and then repair the cache within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication/action.

Had a long search for this one. Then looked at logs and found long list of DNFs 8 in total plus mine. Last found 20th July 2013 and had a "Needs Maintenance" log December last year please disable or archive to stop people searching for fresh air. Mood was not helped by getting 3 DNFs in a row.
Likely to need replacement. Time to take Geo for another walk up Weston way soon Bitsprayer!
Stroll? A real grovel looking for this one- prickly bushes and lots of rubbish at GZ. Think it's likely to have been muggled.
We had a bit of a search in the cache location, a somewhat undesirable area with lots of prickles, bottles and other rubbish, but to no avail. TFTC

Headed out with Sharkiefan for an epic 2 days of super crazy caching in Oamaru! Needed to get a caching fix since within Chch I'm only going for one a day to be able to continue my streak as long as possible! We found a total of 78 caches! Hehe Epic weekend all round! And thanks to all the Oamaru and surroundings cachers who made our trip totally the best and caching happy as!
One day we have to come back and do the rest of this stroll... now it was night time, dark, cold, and still a wee bit flooded. So we didn't go do the rest, just this one.
Got attacked by heaps of bushes... but we did get to finding the cache eventually. Just took a little while... dark makes things hard!
TFTC!!

Ewww it was a bit yucky in the bushes but luckily we soon found the cache and then we were off to find the next ones. TFTC
You just never know what you may find in these spots...But we did find the cache.
Another lovely day for caching. Had the bike on the back the mighty Caldina so I took it off and rode the rail trail. Thanks for the hide.
Am here in Oamaru visiting my parents on a trip back to NZ from British Columbia, Canada. This was one of a few finds today made with my Mum. Dropped a few goodies and a TB - please move it on - it came all the way from Canada! TFTC
Got to gz, and thought "Hmm, how do we get in there?". A wee wander around the back soon led us to an easy route in and too the cache.

Just like Geo, I am enjoying a mid-morning stroll turning green boxes into opened boxes and producing a few smilies. No worries with the find. TFTC

Certainly morning, but not not much strolling going on.
76 of 270 for a day stretching from Danseys to Thompson's Track.

We spotted you spraying some stuff by the side of the road in Oamaru whilst we were driving to this one! A good sized cache and a quick find. Great! TFTC.
4863. On our way home to Christchurch from the Mega Event in Dunedin we decided to spend a couple of nights in Oamaru while geocaching in the area. After the first night this was our full day caching in the Weston area and in Oamaru itself. Got up early and did four caches before breakfast. Then after breakfast off we went. This was the eleventh cache of the day, and another section of the mini power trail. Thanks for the cache, Rodney and Iris.
Decided to go down to Dunedin to attended the first ever Mega in New Zealand and my first ever MEGA. Managed to work it out so that I was able to team up with -gonefishing-, fozzmiester and agcnz on an 9 day caching trip around the South Island, this was day 7 of the road trip. Today we were making our way form Oamaru to Timaru for the night and picking up a few caches on our way and it was another beautiful fine day.
After finding GC3VFBW - Geo Say's Don't Get Slimed ( North Otago ), we decided to continue on our way down this small power trail and see if we could find this cache. What a bit of a pity that I didnt have a bike with me as it would be so much easier.
The walk to GZ really didnt take too long from the previous cache to GZ, we managed to make our way to GZ without any issues and once there it didnt take too long and we soon spotted something that required a closer inspection, and we soon realised that it was the cache.
Managed to retrieve the cache, signed and then replaced the cache back where I found it. Thanks Bitsprayer for placing this cache here and for bringing me to this spot, TFTC TNLNSL (5245). Another quick and easy find here today, was glad that Geo was happy to come out for a morning stroll, and placed something out here for me to find
Now what is the next cache that we need to find today.

Found as part of an epic NZ Mega Event trip. Day 7 - Oamaru and surrounds before heading North to Timaru in the company of agcnz, -gonefishing- and Yeetrees. Thanks to the owners of the 500 + caches which I had the pleasure to find along the way and which contributed to a very fun trip.

Found on the great post-Mega roadtrip with agcnz, fozzmiester and yeetrees. A great trip from Otago to Wellington, taking in many backroads and some fantastic scenery along to way to over 400 caches. Thanks to all the cache owners for the great caches we found on the way.
Thanks for the cache, Bitsprayer.

On a nice leisurely drive north after the recent Mega in Dunedin we are just meandering along and grabbing a few caches here and there. We decided that Oamaru looked like a great spot for lunch and some geocaching so we decided to stay the night. This one was easily located, log book signed and cache returned. Our first of Geo's morning constitutional's. TFTC.
Reperio at 1040.
Continued the walk today with Roostman as a little side detour on the way to Geraldine...and with all the recent rain over the past couple of days, the trail was still in very good condition...at least this was of it was...A little further up though things got a little messy.

Day six of the NZ Mega invasion
Our time in Dunedin was over, we left early in the morning and set our sights on another night in Oamaru, before our flight from Christchurch back to Melbourne. This was one of the caches we found along the way. My thanks for the cache.

Found along with bogonghazy after the Mega Event, while picking up as many as we could before leaving Dunedin and beginning the trek towards Christchurch and the inevitable trip home. Sadly the weather had begun to turn on us this morning, but like true Ozzie troopers we continued our NZ assault armed with raincoats. Thanks to the CO for placing this cache, and for bringing us here.
Last day in Dunedin for Sully1 and I as we visited as many caches as we could before making our way to Oamaru for the last night in NZ. The cold fierce wind today didn't deter us and the range of hides was once again a large one.
Thanks again Bitsprayer

Found during a tiki tour of the area with The Empire while here for the NZ Mega from Melbourne .
thankyou for your cache

This GZ looks like it is a hangout for the local youth that you wouldn't suspect from the road or the walkway on the otherside. Cache was well hidden and liked all the swaps to help you make your own creative caches. #41 for MPM on GeoJump's trip to the Mega.
516 and 44/55 for the day
I love taking my dog for a walk and so kept my eye peeled but no-one really wanted to be walking their dog in this weather. MacPacMum did the actual finding and then it was quickly back into our vehicle for the next. TFTC

A quick find on a beautiful day. Nice size container.

I visited your cache as part of a week-long self indulgent Geocaching trip from Nelson to Bluff and back again. I apologise for not leaving a completely personalised log, but I do want to thank you for the time, money and effort you put into placing your caches. Without people like you who place caches, there would be nothing for the rest of us to come and find. You are fantastic

Great to see Geo gets a good morning stroll in a nice area. Ellie the retriever would also enjoy this. TFTC.

Almost forgot that today was a dot day so a short evening stroll to GZ to grab a close by cache. TFTC
Did as a drive by. town cache with the usual rubbish near but not at cache. Well placed out of eyes around. Thanks for that
Nealy came unstuck with this one, due to an inordinate amount of muggles hovering around. Got there in the end though!
looked like it should have been an easy find but not for us today. Will look another day.
