Back on the A2O Cycle Trail cyclocaching my way to Oamaru. Searched before reading the previous logs. Uh oh! How did this cache get past my GSAK filter and get loaded into my gps?
Wasn't quite what we had expected, but very pleasant surprise. Found with Lollipopcat and SpyDude13. Kia ora mai for the cache.
Out for a trip to Oamaru to escape the foul weather we've been having in Dunedin in recent weeks. Took a bit of jiggling to get it out of its hiding place but all good in the end. TFTC.
We enjoyed the day caching in this area
Tftfun
So many caches done to remember all, but got a kick out of all that we found (0ver 600 in 8 days)

Geo has good taste in hides! Took a bit to get it out, left it a bit easier to retrieve.
We too initially investigated the wrong object, but then quickly located the cache, although retrieval proved a little more tricky. TFTC
Geograndad had his hand on this one before anyone else got a chance to look. Found with debsnz
Took a bit of manipulating to get the log back into the container. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
Once we had determined the 'other' thing wasn't the cache, we worked out which hole to look in. Nice colour. TFTC
Another lovely day for caching. Had the bike on the back the mighty Caldina so I took it off and rode the rail trail. Thanks for the hide.
Quick find and easily accessible too - one of a series of finds on this trail with my Mum today - a nice intro to g-cing in NZ on my visit from Canada. TFTC

Geo is right! Thanks Geo for suggesting it. No worries finding the well concealed cache. TFTC

4860. On our way home to Christchurch from the Mega Event in Dunedin we decided to spend a couple of nights in Oamaru while geocaching in the area. After the first night this was our full day caching in the Weston area and in Oamaru itself. Got up early and did four caches before breakfast. Then after breakfast off we went, starting with this mini power trail. This was the eighth cache of the day - a quick and easy one - and a nice hide! Thanks for the cache, Rodney and Iris.
Decided to go down to Dunedin to attended the first ever Mega in New Zealand and my first ever MEGA. Managed to work it out so that I was able to team up with -gonefishing-, fozzmiester and agcnz on an 9 day caching trip around the South Island, this was day 7 of the road trip. Today we were making our way form Oamaru to Timaru for the night and picking up a few caches on our way and it was another beautiful fine day.
After finding GC3VFBW - Geo Say's Don't Get Slimed ( North Otago ), we decided to continue on our way down this small power trail and see if we could find this cache. What a bit of a pity that I didnt have a bike with me as it would be so much easier.
The walk to GZ really didnt take too long from the previous cache to GZ, we managed to make our way to GZ without any issues and once there it didnt take too long and we soon spotted something that required a closer inspection, and we soon realised that it was the cache.
Managed to retrieve the cache, signed and then replaced the cache back where I found it. Thanks Bitsprayer for placing this cache here and for bringing me to this spot, TFTC TNLNSL (5243). Another quick and easy find here today, was glad that Geo was happy to come out of his hole, he wasnt very shy today.
Now what is the next cache that we need to find today.

Found as part of an epic NZ Mega Event trip. Day 7 - Oamaru and surrounds before heading North to Timaru in the company of agcnz, -gonefishing- and Yeetrees. Thanks to the owners of the 500 + caches which I had the pleasure to find along the way and which contributed to a very fun trip.

Found on the great post-Mega roadtrip with agcnz, fozzmiester and yeetrees. A great trip from Otago to Wellington, taking in many backroads and some fantastic scenery along to way to over 400 caches. Thanks to all the cache owners for the great caches we found on the way.
Thanks for the cache, Bitsprayer.

Came by here with Roostman today on a little extended tour from Dunedin to Geraldine, and we stopped off and found a few caches along the rail trail here before continuing on our drive. Enjoyed the walk.

I visited your cache as part of a week-long self indulgent Geocaching trip from Nelson to Bluff and back again. I apologise for not leaving a completely personalised log, but I do want to thank you for the time, money and effort you put into placing your caches. Without people like you who place caches, there would be nothing for the rest of us to come and find. You are fantastic
