This was a quick find after doing a job at Mt Barker, this was our cache for day 8 of the 31 days of august
One nasty little sucker this one. Tried a few things to extract until a nice piece of natural debris on the ground nearby was perfect. Well done and thanks for the minor frustration!
Owl was in the area and thought she’d pick up an easy cache. Well, this area seems to be the must-stop place for mobile phone users, which is a real problem if your quick cache is as cleverly hidden as this one was. Owl managed to repeatedly look interested in the monument and was about to leave when she wondered if it could possibly be something to do with that... Yep. That’s why she has a caching kit full of handy tools! Have a favourite point for inventiveness.

Due to container being muggled for the second time, will require another hide & location.
wow this cache had me wondering for a while and after wondering around the wrong tree i had a look at the others and then i looked up spotted the cache and then when i knew where it was it didnt blend in as much anymore thanks for the cache clare007
Wow! This has been my bogey cache since I spent nearly an hour trying for a ftf! A bold hide to be sure! Really glad to get this one out of my life (sorry but hate micro's) tftc
Hmmm seems council has been doing some pruning. Cache may have been sabotaged.
Found after checking out a few sights to place a series of caches and also calling into a garage sale opposite hide
Sneaky one
Took trackables for a visit

Nice hide and and a quick easy find while killing a few minutes on a lovely afternoon. FTC.
WIth a garage sale on and people tying gear down on a trailer, we had to be extra careful here today [8)].
Quickly located. TNLNSL.
In all our haste, we missed seeing the memorial .
Thanks Clare007.

On our annual Holiday to follow the Tour Down Under in South Aus. we are hitting a few caches in Mt Barker as this is our "home town" for the week.
earlier in the week I had to abandon this cache as a muggle was mowing his grass nearby and seemed interested in the van I was in. Maybe it was the Victorian number plates. But today I parked around the corner and grabed it in no time

Someone at the Farewell tea for mogni brought up about doing the TDF series and tentative plans were made to do it today..... however due to the high temperatures (44degrees yesterday) earthlight suggested going down south and so here we ended up.
Although we didn't get very far south LOL as we only made it to Macclesfield for lunch at 2pm (and the edge of Strathalbyn about 8pm and definitely not Victor Harbor) but by the end of the day, we had managed to successfully locus cache on 39 caches and I also placed a new one
We even managed to get a 4star terrain cache which surprised us but luckily it didn't beat us as we had the magic geotool
This cache was fun! It is always fun when you get to send an sms to someone who could not find it after you have found it!
Very clever hide by the CO as most people's heads would have gone straight to the 'usual' type of hide here however this one has a 'slight' difference which increases the chances of missing the cache

Watched Darknstormy live out his childhood and climb the tree only to find out he didnt need too hehe big child TFTC
Well I got a little excited and climbed the tree pretty much all the way to the top..
As I jumped down and admired the other tree I came back for a second look and there she was right infront of my eyes... I'm sure I brushed it as I was climbing hehe
Thanks for the cache Clare007

That's a cool little camo!
I was fascinated by the acorns on the trees.. I've never seen them before!
No squirrels around today though!
Liz had a chat with a lovely local with great knowledge of local history while I gave her puppy a cuddle!
Co-ords are perfect.. 3m.. But geez..
I forgot how tall clare007 is!!
Head height and a bit... Plus an extra foot!!!
I had to go up the tree to replace it!!
We did tell the elderly muggle lady that we were on a treasure hunt and showed her the log sheet but the cache secret is safe with her!! She doesn't know where we found it!
She was excited to hear about out adventures though!
It's always lovely to chat with elderly people.
I am intrigued with their stories and their positive nature is beautiful [^]

You almost got me stumped again but I managed to find it in the end. Terrain should be 2 for little people like me. Lol
Thanks clare007 for the cache.

A sneaky hide! We've found one like this today so it made it a little easier, even after about 10mins search Tftc!
A relatively quick find. Had to resort to the hint though. A nice cammo. Thanks clare007.
Very clever hide! The GPSr was swinging around all over the place so we basically put our caching glasses on and by a process of elimination we found the little critter quite quickly. TFTC
Mr Tardis has his mojo back! I was in the area today and thought I'd give this one a go. Searched for a few minutes and couldn't find anything. Checked the logs and realised it's a hard one with all those DNF's.
Used the hint and searched some more (checked all the trees as my GPS couldn't decide on which one) and finally found the little fellow.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache clare007.

The cache is still there, I have changed the difficulty in the cache rating and changed the clue slightly.
It is very well camouflaged, so make sure you take your reading glasses.

Those coords put me at only one tree, others too far away
Alas I cannot see it there or in/near any other either.

Sorry Clare unable to locate today.
Even tried visiting old friends across the little reserve and they were not home either.
will try again another day.

Stopped by this one the other day and spotted the cache, but the muggle out the front of her house to the north just wouldn't go away. I wandered around and read the info on the monument to look less suspicious (yeah right). Wandered back...still there! Sat in my car and waited...still not moving. Gave up and came back today with a quick result. Nice camo clare007. TFTC.
Looked for this for quite a while but having seen this type before & thought about the clue, we soon had it in hand.Good camo & hide. TFTH clare007
With better weather and no muggle activity that plagued my last visit this was a quick find. Thanks clare007 for the hide!!
Spot on coords had me at the right spot. Took a couple of minutes of touching, wriggling, poking etc before it was spotted. TFTC clare007
Have never stopped at the monument before, so now was a good opportunity. Thanks for the cache clare007!
Tried this the other day but got driven away by a hail storm..... returned later but couldn't give it a good go because -of workers chatting at the nearby building site. Tried again today and looked despite the builders being back(despite being a Saturday) I must be going blind as I couldn't locate it.
Dropping lad over at the High School. Pretty quick find. Thanks for the hide and history clare007. Could see how it could get missed.
I always find caches like this difficult, but as is common with these types, once found "what has been seen, cannot be unseen"! Nice hide and great camo! TFTC clare007!
Nearly didn't spot this sucker. The muggles in the new houses across the road were more interested in their new houses. Thankfully.
Thanks to clare007 and clear skies from TeamAstro.

2.10pm. DNF could have been 3 FTF from 3 caches for me, but alas something went wrong
either
1)the coords are out
2) the terrain ratings are wrong or...
3) I cannot find the cache.
either way the FTF is still there, but it's raining now!
