Nothing under the rock where gps lead me to. Im just finishing local heritage walk
A quick grab while on our tour of NZ, grateful for a beautiful day. Thanks from the UK
I called by here after the CITO. A quick search of the two obvious hint items at GZ proved fruitless Then spotted the not so obvious one a couple of metres away. There it is. Still good to go. As I retreated, GZ was now indicating the correct one, so not out at all.
dnf - looked in a few places that the hint suggested but no luck today! Very muddy day so didn't want to linger too ling
I guess there are more places to search than I thought. I finally got to the right one. TFTC.
Found it, but log is wet and can not be signed.Unfortunately I had no paper with me.Placed it back as found.
Phew. I thought it was going to be 0/3 for my evening stroll but then I widened my search and there it was. TFTC
We stayed at the Waterfront and this was a quick walk over to spend quite some time looking at two wrong spots! Was about to give up, then I noticed there was a third hint object, pfff. If you are at the right spot you'll see it! No need to dig around like I did.
Failed to find this in 2020 and was pleased to see it had been replaced. Then noted a couple of DNF with no find for 8 months. Having spoken to a few local cachers who tell me this CO is no longer caching or doing any maintenance I came prepared to replace this cache. Messaged the CO a few weeks ago but got no reply. Searched without success at GZ then left a micro at what seemed the original position.
Quick find seems the weather was okay after a month off. Level 2 rules followed. TFTC
Missed this a few years ago but easier today after checking a few logs prior and realising there are hide options here.
Thanks
Thanks
Easy find when re read hint.
Caching with nette1234 while down in Blenheim.
She had a family reunion to attend.
Wish I could go to a play or musical at this theatre...

Found while out biking this easy cycle trail with our granddaughters. Thanks b&w for this good sized cache which was a straight forward find, our granddaughters enjoyed it. The contents are clean and dry.
First we were lookin at the wrong stump but once we found the right stump it was nice and easy tftc
I have called past this one a couple of times this year without luck. I guess this is one that the CO wants to keep. So, with the notification that it had been replaced I called past today after climb #7 of Mt Vernon this week (Everest Challenge time). Easily found in the very spot I had searched last time. All done in under a minute.
Hi bumandworker
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

Stuck in Blenheim for a few days with vehicle problems. Not Plan A but at least it gives us some extra time to cache. Today walked around closer to town. No joy here. Found a well covered stump but no cache.
Good to see that the Boathouse Theatre are due to put on a show in the next few months. Pity I won’t be here to see it.

Oh dear should have read all the DNF logs. Police followed us down. Then council workers arrived. Really dont think there is anything to find. Stumps are covered in grass and clippings to deep ti clear.
Seem as how I have been doing a fair amount of work at the Boathouse Theatre I have actually recently spoken to one of the volunteers that helps out, he told me he often before a show season he would trim up the hedges and leave the branches and leaves in a pile behind them. I think we have found our culprit muggle. Too bad, bear in mind I didn’t tell him about the cache so my bet is that he has no idea. Might be time for a bit of maintenance or an archive
Hmm yes same story as CartertoniC unfortunately, plausible but very ugly. Got pretty adventurous but came up unsuccessful. Possibly needs a check or maintenance
Coordinates put us in an ugly although plausible spot but a short search revealed no cache.
A simple find with the Irish squirrel.
A great walk from a lovely breakfast.

#6704. I am back in Blenheim once again on a day trip from Wellington to attend several meetings. These went on a lot longer than usual so just as well I had booked the late flight home. Still time for 2 hours of geocaching before heading back to the airport. A chance to convert a few more around the city edge into yellow faces. I turned off at the wrong street but checked the GPS and saw there was a cache here so figured why not. Walked to the GZ and soon saw a possible hiding spot. The cache was quickly found. Once in hand I recognised who the CO was from the container type which I have found a few of on previous visits to Marlborough. Signed the log and replaced the cache where found. Thanks the bumandworker for the cache.
Today Mr 3Prettys and spacenarwhale were participating in the NZHL X-Race, which took place along the river. As they prepared to listen to the safety briefing, I wondered if there was a cache close enough that I could pop over and find it before their 6:08 start time. I was quite surprised to discover that I was only 9 metres from this cache! I made my way to it past hundreds of people, none of whom gave this spot any notice. A high point in my list of stealthy geocaching moments; thank you for the cache.
This meeting of the rivers is a lovely hidden gem! A pukeko was wading across... so not that deep. Now to enjoy the concrete path all the way back, stepping to check out the 1888 flax mill.
Arrived in Blenheim off the morning ferry and decided to ignore the rain clouds and cycle up to the Taylor River retention dam and back before dinner. We only got a little wet on a really interesting trail' TFTC
Finally made it to Blenheim after a long drive through the molesworth stretching our legs on the hunt for the kiwi guardian might as well grab the caches along the way tftc
It is not often I get to take a dog for a walk around a foreign town, my friend and I are staying in Picton for a week, and we were in Blenheim today so she could visit family at a nearby resthome. Meanwhile it was my job to keep her dog occupied - lucky me! Leo and I enjoyed a walk around the river, picking up a few caches along the way. TFTC (3727)
We are keen geocachers on holiday from Tauranga gathering a few smileys as we go. Really enjoying our stroll around here. Cache is all good. TFTC
Quick find this afternoon. Just had to wait for some muggles to move along. Signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache!

Another super spring day, time to get in those bikes to move off the massive food we are served here
And a cache or two or so to go for

The Seagnoid has the FTF at Mt Chisholm in his sights. OK so lets go!! But before that Zara & I have a day in town before snagging The Seagnoid. The rain has stopped so lets go hunting.
Everything wet and slippery. Mr mower is on his rounds so waited until he had vacated before bagging this one. Cheers

Took me a few attempts before rehearsals to find this one but finally found it! TFTC
This is another of those that i have attempted before and failed at, but today Jojo and I decided to attempt a few of the prerequisites for B&W's local bonus cache and this was on the way to one of them. No muggles apart from a guy sleeping in his car 20 metres away. Relatively quick find this time, even if we could not find the one further down the river that we were heading too. TFTC B&W.
Nice easy find on this beautiful Blenheim day.
Enjoyed the walk, no one around here today
Thank you bumandworker worker for the cache

After a visit to the dentist, I took the kids for a little walk by the river before heading home. A little walk conveniently near a cache I still hadn't got. Luckily nobody was around aside from a few joggers who were quickly out of sight, as I had to scratch around a bit to find this one, the GPS still pointing 12m away. The hint helped and I found a helpful object followed by the cache.
A relatively quick grab on a quick stroll around. Had to duck and hide from a few muggles but they didn't seem to notice me at GZ. Tftc.
Out for a quick spot of caching after Fire Training, as usually have to work Monday nights until much later.
Nice mild weather, a moderate 16 degrees with light wind.
Initially got a bit narrow focused on the wrong hiding place, and after scratching leaves and getting grubby fingernails, decided to walk around a bit more and found a much more likely spot.
Then again, wouldn't be a B&W signature if I didn't get some dirt on me

Found after digging down through the leaves to find the stone then the cache. Thanks for the cache
Greetings from Canada! A quick find here, with the aid of the hint - thanks!
Out and about with Kiwimykl adding to my tally of local caches. Todays trip was through to Picton via the Port underwood Road, we had mixed success, getting 26 caches and recording 4 DNF/DNLs... it was probably not a good idea to do this on a long weekend as a few caches were located in highly populated holiday spots.
On the way back home now and this was one of the few of todays caches that Kiwimykl already had which could have been helpful to me but I didn't need his help for a QEF at GZ. He was surprised when I found the cache as it was not located in the same place he found it. On going back through the logs later, we realised it had been relocated by the CO due to repeated muggle action.

Took a while as it was buried under quite a depth of leaves which looked like they had been dumped there recently. TFTC
We camped in the campervan at Taylor Dam last night. It was very peaceful apart from the odd doof doof car. I was so tired after all the geocaching and walking yesterday that I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.
We dumped our stuff at a dumping station. Then went for a walk by the river. Last one before lunch.

Yay a geo weekend away with my buddy Nosynel where we join forces and cache as NosyBear. Did a few caches round here on a lovely sunny day. Thanks for the caches Blenheim
A nice quick find on a walk along the river bank with the dogs and some new doggy friends. TFTC
Teamed up with Karieannie to track this one down. Her first, my 3355th. We were a great team. I hope I managed to pass on some useful tips. Thanks for the hide .
Bit wet and soggy around this location after a big downpour overnight... Found with relative ease with no stealth required.

there is just the logbook in a plasticback, so no box... the logbook is dry and in good condition. no place where it was possible to cover the cache with a stone, so maybe not in the right spot anymore?! It's worth to go and check it.
anyway, thanks for the cache
