On my way to Bairnsdale for a few days of work, but needed to stretch my legs.
Found cache in the obvious location.
Cheers for the cache.

This was a nice quick find, a good excuse to get out of the car and stretch our legs. Thank you!
A week if golf and caching in Gippsland had me heading towards the high country today. Thankfully the cache wasn't hidden in the prickles. A quick find. Thanks Scozza
We found this cache today on our Very Wet Bairnsdale to Melbourne Road Trip. Trying to be very quick with the rain. Thanks from D & HA B-A.
On the road with Gromitboy we had plenty of time on our hands while making our way to the ferry to Tasmania. He was amenable to regular stops and we could let the dog have a bit of a run while we looked for the cache! Thanks Scozza
So took the wife on a short break over Christmas and New Year, along with that came the mandatory lets find some caches each day.
Started just before Christmas down in Metung in Gippsland and explored the area as well as visiting the koalas on Raymond Island and the beaches of lakes entrance.
After that we spent a few days in Kilcunda and walked the George Bass trail as well as a visit to Philip Island.
A pretty great trip to relax over Christmas and New Year.
Ended up finding 50 caches and 3 new travel bugs as well as placing one... unfortunately I also had 8 did not finds which I think is a record for me.
The caches took me to some wonderful places as I got to see Koala's, Seals, Dolphins and heaps of spiders and creepy crawlies..
sorry for the generic log.
Thanks for the cache and the hide

We're out for a day trip to Lakes Entrance and stopped by here to grab this cache as we passed. As usual my iPhone made it harder than it needed to be!

The size it said in the description (nano) put us off and the fact it said it was silver in the hint made us think it would be on something silver TFTC
Finally out of lockdown, picked up a couple of caches on the way to volunteer in Buchan
Went out in the Mt Taylor area only to find those caches no longer exist because of the bushfires. We moved south of Bairnsdale and enjoyed our caching there. This was one we targetted and found. Our thanks to Scozza for placing this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
We had come to the *North East* for a Christmas Lunch yesterday with friends from the MX-5 Club. After spending the night in Bright we were now heading back to Melbourne the long way... via Falls Creek, Omeo and Bairnsdale.
With the fun part of the drive over, it was now just a trudge down the Princes Highway to Melbourne... with the very occasional break for a cache like this one that would help me with a *challenge* I am working on.
Thanks **Scozza** for putting this cache here.

I bought a Cornish pastie in Bruthen and stopped here to eat it. I turn around facing the busy highway at GZ and here was an echidna. Cruising the gum trees for a feed. TFTC
An interesting little spot here.
In our searches, we found a sizeable spider wriggling away in a hole, a sure indicator of where not to look.
We almost called it quits before I spotted something on the ground.
Very clever camo, but given the brittleness of the lid, the wetness of the log and the fact that it doesn't go past 2017, we believe it's an older rendition of the cache.
Regardless, we still managed to find it and replaced it next to the sign.
Thanks for placing this cache!

Found on My way to the Mega event at Queanbeyan NSW, these stops helped break up the journey, thanks for placing a cache for travellers to find.
Thanks Scozza for the cache.
Thanks Scozza for the cache.
This was a nice quick find once at Ground Zero on the way to our overnight camping spot. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
Found this a while ago; logging now. I was travelling along this road on my way back from an event in Melbourne, and stopped here quickly when I saw that this cache was nearby. Read the hint, which helped, and the difficulty level wasn't too high. Then it was back in the car to continue on with my journey north. TFTH
Cache found quickly and in good condition.
Had me fooled for a minute but instincts took over.
Thanks for the cache.

Day 5 and final day of KmanNZ VIC/NSW Summer Roadtrip 2018
Heading back home towards Pakenham today - caching the country back roads.
Goal to find 1000 caches in 2018 - well and truly completed
***NO CLUES OR HINTS IN THE FOLLOWING TEXT***
Since moving from New Zealand in 2016 I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T all multiple times.
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go to is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
I enjoy finding well maintained caches in fun and unique cache containers. No one likes finding a mint tin – but a find is a find after all.
I’m currently working on a Project-GC challenge to get the average word count on my logs over 200 words.
So please ignore the rest of this log as it is just nonsense and song lyrics.
Well she was an American girl
Raised on promises
She couldn't help thinkin' that there
Was a little more to life
Somewhere else
After all it was a great big world
With lots of places to run to
Yeah, and if she had to die
Tryin' she, had one little promise
She was gonna keep
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night
She was an American girl
Well, It was kind of cold that night
She stood alone on her balcony
She could hear the cars roll by
Out on 441
Like waves crashin' on the beach
And for one desperate moment there
He crept back in her memory
God it's so painful, when
Something that's so close
And still so far out of reach
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night
She was an American girl
Well I'm a-runnin' down the road try'n to loosen my load
I've got seven women on my mind
Four that want to own me, two that want to stone me
One says she's a friend of mine
Take it easy, take it easy
Don't let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy
Lighten up while you still can
Don't even try to understand
Just find a place to make your stand, and take it easy
Well, I'm a standin' on a corner in Winslow, Arizona
Such a fine sight to see
It's a girl, my Lord, in a flat-bed Ford
Slowin' down to take a look at me
Come on, baby, don't say maybe
I gotta know if your sweet love is gonna save me
We may lose and we may win, though we will never be here again
So open up I'm climbin' in, so take it easy
Well, I'm a runnin' down the road tryin' to loosen my load
Got a world of trouble on my mind
Lookin' for a lover who won't blow my cover, she's so hard to find
Take it easy, take it easy
Don't let the sound of your own wheels make you crazy
Come on baby, don't say maybe
I gotta know if your sweet love is gonna save me
Oh, we got it easy
We oughta take it easy

Thought we’d stop from a look on the way to Traralgon but could not find. Will come back during the day for another look.
Road tripping to Sale on Premier business had me research relevant LGAs and atlas pages. I pushed on a little further past Sale in order to pick up the East Gippsland LGA as well as another atlas page. This was found in the second place I looked. Be careful of the electrified fence. I was close enough to have a bit of a tingle when bending over to pickup the cache
For future finders, disregard the hint. The cache isn't red but rather silver.

The long weekend was here and it was time for fitzy_1965 and I to head down to Vic in the geo-unit for an epic geomission We had a great time camping, cruising around admiring the beautiful scenery and nabbing LOTS of caches! A great weekend of quality caching all round!
Fitzy made the find here but it was impossible to remove the lid. It eventually yeilded for the signing [^]

14763. Found during a long weekend caching run down through the Bombala / Genoa / Mallacoota / Cann River / Orbost / Lakes Entrance / Bairnsdale regions with specimenX.
A long weekend caching plan was hatched with specimenX to head down to Victoria for 4 days of caching and camping. Had a fantastic time driving around enjoying the scenery, camping at various locations, plus the huge number of caches to be found. Day Four was here, and we packed up again. Next find for the day. Having not read the clue I was a bit worried about this at first, then had a job getting the log out ! SpecimenX soon sorted that out. Signed the log, returned the cache, and we headed off to the next one.
Thanks to all the COs for placing their caches !!

While heading for home travelling down the highway i stopped at a few caches along the way, this was one of them.
Well this one had me going for a little while but the tricky little sucker was eventually found.
The log is very second hand and needs replacing but I was still able to retrieve it and sign my name.

Frmen1 and I were on our way home and decided to grab a few more. A quick find with a novel cache container. TFTC and the decent pull over area.
Meant to get this one last time I was in the area but missed the turn off with the unexpected traffic. So today, with a clear tail in i went to the parking and a short walk later I was scoping gz. good thing not many ppl were around today because I was certainly coloured matched to the container and a little obvious! TFTC
Checked cache yesterday and all is in tip top condition and where it should be This cache was muggled some time ago so perhaps recent visitors have happened across the old container, which I have been unable to locate.
Cache maintenance is a cache owner responsibility and includes regular visits to the cache to ensure it is in proper working order, especially when a seeker reports a problem with the cache.
Based on a couple of the previous logs, perhaps it's time for the CO to make a visit to this cache.

Fount It..... Dropped in to this guy while over this side of the state picking up some new additions to our Poultry flock. After pulling up at GZ the search started but with the two of us going around in circles for 15 mins it was decided to abandon it and keep heading home as it is a 6 hour drive only to have Mr H_3 spot something out at the edge of the road and sure enough there it was. So with the log signed we headed home. Thanks Scozza for the cache this is getting a Fav point P.S the log is very wet and we struggled to get it out
Stopped by here at 10.15pm.
Looked for about 15 minutes without luck. The camo must've beaten me despite a little research guiding me as to what to look for. It seems from the previous logs that this one is playing a little harder than a typical D1.5...
