Out on the bike with goefriends, we managed 32 finds today and this was our only DNF
Found with WaywardWoman while caching in the area on a hot afternoon. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC
Took us a little longer to find this one... but we wouldn’t let it defeat us! TFTC!
Today I headed out to Dural for the Amateur Radio NSW (HAM Radio) bi-monthly Trash & Treasure sale at Quarry Road and, after a fun filled morning of HAM radio junk scrounging and a nice BBQ lunch with lots of friendly chit chat, it was time to get caching and collect enough caches to enable us to complete the Mystery at the Museum cache challenge with the collected jewels safely returned to the vault. I had packed the folding bike into the geomobile and planned a "ride & grab" caching raid along the Windsor Road cache trail, and maybe a few extras around the Rouse Hill area, to give us the needed minimum of 23 finds. This was the 21st of 27 finds, and 4 DNF's, for the day.
This was the next one along the trail, and took a little bit longer to find than most of the previous ones. Initially started looking from the wrong end, but all good after moving further along the feature, with a quick "sign & replace" before riding off to the next cache along the trail. TFTC Morley196.

Just picking out a few in this series to make sure the current streak keeps happening. This cache was well hidden. When found, name was added to the log, then replaced. TFTC.
Today I go on in this series. I´ve been looking for a long time. Thanks for this cache.

The last full day in Sydney before travelling home to Brisbane. Doing a number of different caches, that were decided upon before coming to Sydney and this was one of them. A great day was had finding the cache and signing the log. TFTC
Last day of caching in Sydney and surrounds and the aim today was targeting some special caches and a few challenge caches. Thank you to the COs of all the caches found today - appreciate the time and effort required in placing and maintaining your caches.
On a really hot 40-degree afternoon I set out from McGraths Hill, and walked the Windsor Road series from that point all the way to Rouse Hill Town Centre, picking up every cache in range that I could get my hands on.
It took four-ish hours, and I consumed about two liters of liquids (a combination of water and electrolytes), then proceeded to sweat it all out.
Thanks heaps for placing the caches along this trail - as sweltering as it was, t’was a nice glimpse into the relatively quiet northwest before it all falls into the inevitable suburban sprawl. The sun was amazing despite being hot and I had some proper Aztec Camera vibes going the distance as the sun made its way to the horizon.
This took a bit to find but a bit of eagle-eyed spotting eventually got me the cache. On to the next one!

Located this one with a bit of difficulty and off it went hither and thither. Nothing to do but climb down and explore. Just a reminder that this is not magnetic.

A great day for a bike ride in western Sydney with my granddaughter. Thanks to the COs for all the caches... and to those who helped maintain them.
We left early this morning to get as many caches as we could along this trail. Ended up getting just over 80 so it was a very good day. Thanks for all the caches.
Always love caching with this group, a fun day out on this trail chasing planets. Thanks to all COs for the caches.
Out with the gang collecting caches along Windsor and Richmond roads. It was a medium long pedal but a great day. Disappointingly we had to replace a few containers along the way but no biggie either since the effort should breath some life back into the trail. TFTC.
Out on a bicycle caching run with geobuddies along both the Richmond and Windsor Rd trails and also grabbing any other caches in-between.
Overall our day was a whooping 10hrs on the bikes and we all enjoyed every pedel of the way.
We found a total of 87 caches today so I apologise for my repeated logs,
Thanks to all the cache owners for providing us with a great day out.

I’ve been keen to start on this Power trail for some time now.
Today I set off on a two hour public transport journey to reach the southern end of the trail.
I arrived a little later than I’d hoped due to life getting in the way of caching this morning.
Great history along this trail and a nice walk.

Needing some exercise I headed out early today and after parking the geomobile headed off to grab these caches along the pathway. Lots of interresting hides and a few DNF's to add to a fun day. After finding each cache and signing the logs all were returned as found.

Out for a bike ride with SeeMyShell this morning.. The track took a while because we got distracted by the two pubs along the way, and probably spent more time in there than riding the bikes ...It is Christmas time after all Most caches were found in good order with 52 finds and 6 DNFs for me today.. Thanks for the caches and adventure!
This promises to be a long day on the heat on foot - walking from Rouse Hill to Windsor - at least it gets me some calorific credit for Christmas!

Been wondering how many a solo cacher could reasonably find in daylight hours. Made an attempt today to celebrate a major life milestone. Started near the South end of the Old Windsor Road 'power trial' and cycle-cached my way North. The initial target was to make 40 but managed to complete that before noon. So continued on to Windsor. 50 finds came up just before Windsor with still a few hours left before needing to get back to the Eastern Suburbs for an engagement. So picked off a few more caches on either side on the ride back to the car. Tally for the day (in 7 hours 45 minutes): 63 finds and 7 DNFs. A big thank you to Morley196 for making this outing possible.

Our first time in this part of the country, and what a great way to see the area and learn about it. Always love a series we can do on our bikes.
This one took a few minutes as we made some assumptions as we rode up. Wrong of course!
Back to the GPSr and yes the coordinates were spot on.

OCW Coastblue Big day as we tackled the Windsor Power trail. Coastblue had already found a few so I got started early and caught up until she joined me. Overall I found 46 with 7 DNFs and a few we didn't go for as they'd been muggled. Great day out, we managed to avoid the rain and finish before sunset! Cache# 358 TFTC
OCW Rodney1210. I had previously completed some of this PT so Rodney did the catching up thing this morning and then we carried on together after that. We walked the track and completed most of it today bar a few DNFs and a few we ran out of time for.
My apologies for the same log over and over. I really appreciate the effort you have gone to create and maintain this PT. Given that we were chasing numbers today, these caches made for quick and easy finds. Thankfully the rain held out and we made it back to the car just as it began to fall.
I look forward to avenging the DNFs once they're active again and completing the last few caches and mystery final. TFTPT!

Today was the day for the Windsor to Rouse Hill trail.
I started off by parking on Court Street in Windsor, unfolding the push-bike and get on the road. In total I found 67 caches, and 5 non founds. At the end of the day, the GPS showed a total track distance of 18.6 km.
Another good find! Thanks for the cache!

No wonder I didn't find it, the clue says --- but it isn't. I guess it has been placed back incorrectly.
7th cache find on Windsor Road as I walked along today. I'm nearly finished this series and have a new appreciation for Windsor Road having walked most of it over many many months.

Well this is the day. I have been planned for a few weeks. I have borrowed a bike, helmet and puncher kit. But there is nothing I can do with my 52 year old leg that have not been on a bike for years. I have about 60 on the list for today a ride of about 28 km from Windsor to Rouse Hill and back. Thanks Morley196 for going to the trouble of placing all the cache with on the local history. Well done.
From all the caches I found I only found one clue for the mystery the was for the letter 5. I will need help to complete the mystery. TFTC.

Out and about in the area today finding caches.
After finding the nearby challenge cache and few trads on the way I am ready to tackle a section on the power trail.
All caches were quick finds, co-ords awesome and so could keep the heart rate up walking the line. [^]
I managed about 37 of them in total. Walking nearly 15km in the process (out and back to the car)
Past the half way point now. Heading west for a few now.
Thanks for the cache.

#3027 - Nearly caught me out. Big tuft of windblown weed was hiding it. Many thanks to the cache owner ***Morley196*** for establishing and maintaining this cache, along with this bike path series.
About 1.5 weeks ago I was looking at the geocaching map of Sydney in search of a nice trail.
I noticed this trail and wanted to know more about it.
After a quick investigation I found out that it was possible to do the trail while walking.
The problem could be how to get there. Luckily the Opal travel app was of great help.
The best option was to start at the end of the trail near Castlebrook Memorial park, a 50 minute bus ride from Sydney. But only if I would not travel on Sunday as the way back from Windsor would take me more then 2.5 hours due to railway work.
So I decided to travel on Anzac Day.
The problem would be the bonus, because I planned to start at the last cache of the trail.
It turned out that the bonus puzzle coul be solved by looking at the cache descriptions of the caches along the trail. With the help of the offline viewing possibility of GSAk it was not difficult to solve the puzzle.
on Anzac Day I left my Appartment around 8:20 to catch the bus.
After arriving at the memorial park and a short walk I found my first cache around 09:30h and the last one around 15:30h. Some caches I cold not find because they were gone or were to well hidden.
2 caches I could not look for because people in the neighborhood were watching me.
1 cash I did not attempt due to a parked police car close to the cach location with the officer in the car.
The search of the first cach of this serie I had to abort because I had to catch the train back to be back around 6pm.
At the end of the day I had walked more than 20 km's and had found 52 caches.
Most caches could be found quite easily but some took more time.
Some caches took more time to log than usual due to issues with my pen.
Thanks for this trail,

#2780 (30 of 50 today - am I mad?) (Streak day 287)
So, how to celebrate Leap Day? How do I mark this once in every 4 year opportunity - my first as I started caching in 2013?
I'd considered a few possibilities and decided I'd go for my most ever finds in a day. 50 looks like a nice round number.
I'd not tackled **Morley196's** Windsor Road previously - save for two caches grabbed when I was mining the Rouse Hill Regional Park. In fact I'd left it for such an attempt as this.
Even better, there was an event at both ends of the trail - one in the morning and one at night. Perfect!
So I started out by placing two caches of my own, one of which I submitted for publication (and was published later in the day), and one for which I still need to finalise the listing. Then I headed Windsor way to start my walking marathon no bike for me!
At the end of the day I had my 50 caches - 48 traditionals and two events - and my fitness tracker assured me I'd walked 32,000 steps.
My only problem was getting back to the car. I ended up almost 8km from *The Hademobile*, and with no sign of buses or taxis, I simply walked back - grabbing over a heap of munzees on the way back.
And was right on time for the evening's event. Cache #2800 - not a coincidence!
Apologies in advance for totally cut and paste logs but anything else and I'll go mad! Any specific cache comments will be found under under the C&P heading.
Many thanks to **Morley196** for the trail. Incredible effort. Will add a smattering of faves as thanks.
And thanks also to the organisers and attendees at the events. Nice to meet you all again / for the first time* (delete whichever is not applicable).
So, the result of today was I have my final *Found Date*, my final *Hidden Date* and even finds on my own caches for 29 Feb. HUZZAH!
Please excuse me if I don't do something like this again in 4 years time.
