DNF for me as well on this cache and I had previously looked here. Needs to be checked to see if it is still there.
Tried again, last DNF for me in this was dec 2012. Why do I keep picking the wrong time?
Second time losers, this time I brought extra sets of eyes with -Lisette- and -Jelly bean- And EB Nano but no joy was had.
It is a busy spot on a weekday and a busy spot on a Saturday late afternoon. Many muggles walked past and glanced confusedly at us.
After sticking our heads into here and into there, after finding what I thought would have been three absolutely cracker hiding spots, more reminiscent of your Auckland hides (which we enjoyed immensely) we had to admit defeat.
I'll have to keep a watch on this one before it turns into a nemesis cache. Not that I'm over this side of town very often anyway, in fact this is only my second time in the last 18 months.
Thanks again for the cache placement

Last I tried for the trip, but again came up blank. Luckily I had found one a bit north so the trip to Melbourne at least brought one find. Had a bit of time to search, and I think I interpreted the hint correctly but couldn't find any sign of the thing. After about 10 minutes of searching everywhere near the unit wanted me and checking previous logs a train came and I decided to call it quits and head back to my motel for a cold one. Oh well. Thanks glyn and co.

I had a pretty good search around here with no luck before a train pulled in the station and a muggle walked down the lane. I'd checked all the spots I could think of anyway so I headed off.

We remember looking for other caches around here, perhaps the predecessor. We homed in on GZ quite readily despite nearby reflective surfaces and spotted the likely container unattached to any camo and unhidden at 11:10. We wondered if it may have wandered a bit from its original placement. TFTC anyway
Found with Trailrunning on another Monday caching adventure, Another nice weather night for cachng. We found a mixed bag of caches tonight, from tricky hides, The Numbers were not many as we seem to have a long distances to travel to find a few these days. Thanks glyn(the only one) for the cache.

Found this one on a little pre-dinner visit to Preston - like previous finders, though, I found it without any form of camouflage. Replaced how I had found it, and it's still hidden away from prying muggle eyes so it should be safe. Cheers for the cache!
Thanks Guys. Got it pretty quickly, but not sure it was where it was meant to be. Will contact you
I had had a DNF of this one's predecessor, so I don't know where that one was, but I feel that this one is in a much better location. With good coordinates it was found in a logical spot, thanks.
Whilst waiting for the Seadoo to be serviced I took a drink at the Firestation, then walked across to here. Thanks for the Cache
After 20 mins and uttering the words "Dammit, I really wanted to find this one!" BAM, I literally placed my hand on it. Great hide and find! TFTC

On a branch line as far as the hint went, it took us a while to track this one down. After signing the log it all became clear.
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt glyn(the only one).

This was the last of 3 post-lunch caches while in the area. I didn't feel quite as exposed as I did at the cache down the road at the Darebin Arts Centre. The muggles passed-by in waves as each train pulled into the station. I searched for a while but could not locate the cache. I resorted to having a squiz at the very clever hint - lucky that I've studied a fair bit of science. I soon found the very bold hide and signed the log at 3:35pm. TNLN.
Thanks glyn(the only one) for another very bold and challenging hide.

Found this evening with Woody the Geo-Dog. This is number 15 of the 31 day August challenge. Tried a cache over in Brunswick but no luck there. And this was the next closest. A train was unloading so had to wait for them to pass. Cache was in the first place we looked. I think I've seen this cache container somewhere before..... TFTC
Dropped by on my way to work to pick up one for the 31 in 31 for Aug.
I won't say i didn't have problems finding it but I did get it eventually.

Sorry Giles, forgot to tell you she was passing thru. -;)
Sorry Giles, forgot to tell you she was passing thru. -;)
Sorry, dropped the ball on this one, have been waiting for a delivery of bison tubes, will be up soon
I have a feeling this one has "broken" or been Muggled?
Found what we think was/is the camo because we can see familiar Cacher names and dates written on it, but alas no nano container attached?
Can't understand the clue either but still reckon we're in the right spot.
Take a look please. Thanks

Found @ 3:30am, find # 1807.
A great night of caching for the *SSS*, SirJ-Oz, Spladem and myself.
We had just finished my key ring mission and now it was on to the next mission of the 903 bus, but there were a few others inbetween.
Upon arrival at GZ John add this one found almost straight away, it just took a while to retrieve it from it's hide.
Thanks to glyn and giles for this cache.

I made my way across to Greensborough at about 6pm for a meal / going away party at a Japanese restaurant. This went later than expected.. Steve and John re-shuffeled their plans and spent more time around Heidelberg before we met up closer to Greensy.. We decided that this series would be a good target for the night with no logs yet still on the half way final for the series.. At each cache we made it abit of a race to find the cache.. we still shared it around a fair bit..
This was one of about 24 caches for the night.. Signed as *SSS* being Stemicmitsar and SirJ-Oz and someone.. We had a great night.. a fun all nighter of caching and endless puns.. Thanks for the cache glyn..
I'd already found the Altona one, Find # 3168

Found @ 03:30 with stemicmitsar & spladem. We were on a mission involving bus 903, but we stopped to grab a few caches in the way.
I spotted this one immediately on arrival at GZ however extracting it proved more difficult.
Find 24 of 31 for the night.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.

Many thx for the hide.

Ok. Couldn't understand hint & description says bison tube attached to cammo. So found ourselves searching for the wrong thing. Found it on the end & appears to be more of a nano attached to cammo. SL. TFTC. Love the creativity behind this one!

Logged this a couple of weeks earlier with a friend, finally got a premium account. Nice hide. Tftc.
Found it! It was a good hide, just like the last one that was here in the area. Didn't take long to find. someone has signed the camo, what? Was out there caching with Paco Aliandro. tftc
Riding around the area with Bettyboo3747.
I do believe I have done another very near here. I think I liked the other hide better
A quick find over the other side.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 2009. Cycled to this one with Robmc after lunch. He recalled having found another one nearby, which also showed up on my GPS for some reason. Rob found the sneaky little hide quite easily while I was thinking about other possible spots. I didn't know what the clue meant either, like many before me. Regardless of that, it was a good hide and we were soon on our way. TFTC
Loved this very sneaky little hide, but have no idea what the hint means. It is a great and worth a favourite point. Thanks glyn(the only one)
Had to wait for muggle train passengers to pass by and then spotted the clever hide. No idea what the clue meant but i got lucky today. TFTC glyn(the only one)
Found on my weekly caching expedition thru the suburbs. Today's plan was to find a series of caches along the South Morang train line. Good coords took my iPhone right to it. I liked the sneaky camo job, nice one Glyn!
I have found quite a few of glyn's caches but mostly in Auckland. I have been to this locale twice for a cache and parked in the same place on both occasions.
Quite a novel hide which I quickly spotted. The bells tolled and a train came through to complete the experience
Thanks guys

Found it! I was in Preston today attending a workshop in the Darebin Arts Centre and I was looking forward to collecting a few caches in the area. I went for a stroll at lunchtime hoping to find this one but the geocach web site was offline. So it was a quick find at the end of the day. TFTC SL Nice hide!
Clever cache this one. When retrieved I wondered where the log was to sign, but then it hit me.......
Found on a quiet night, no muggles/trains to contend with. Cool container. TFTC.
Number 2 of 3 found on my circuitous cycle home tonight, enjoying the daylight savings. It took me a little while to confirm and then retrieve the camo'ed hide but I appreciated it's construction. I must admit that it's predecessor - the Circuit - made me laugh, but this is a nice little cache. Thanks Glyn.
Yay! Only 200m from my home (in Mary St) away from home (Perth). Thanks for the cache glyn(the only one).
13 of 20 found today. Heading back East from the Parkville area we chose to clean up a few new caches that have poppoed up close to home. This one was pretty quickly located, but getting the log out took a bit longer. Good one to practice your teeny writing on. TFTC

Today I was out again with my caching partner in crime SedgwickDave. Today would be a shorter caching run due to me not feeling so great, but I still needed to get out for a bit of fresh air and exercise. We were headed for the Northcote and Westgarth area.
This was a nice quick find, with nobody around today and the co-ords were spot on.
Thanks to glyn (the only one) for the cache.

Out on a Saturday morning caching run with best buddy ahomburg with today's plan to tackle the caches in the Northcote Thornbury region before the forecast rain arrives. Was keen for some numbers today to push closer to the elusive 2000 milestone that was almost in my grasp.
After visiting a near by GZ for a cache that had been reported missing but failing to notice that at the time it was pleasing to see this one near by and after a brief walk was at GZ for a nice quick find. A another unique hide not seen quite like it before. TFTC glyn & Giles

My clear area around home was starting to fill up again, so I decided a little jaunt to clear out the close ones was in order. Todays caches mean there are only 2 caches left in my 5km circle.
I picked this cache up, (5 of 5 for the day) at 04:10pm. This cache was another quick pickup for me today, which I found much easier than the previous cache that was in this area, although I liked the other hide better. This is a cool, different container, which is always good to see.

The Demolition Crew (TDC) joined up for one of our regular evening / night cache runs. We had originally planned a run down to Warragul but as it happens on occasions a last minute change of plans had us starting north of the city and working our way south through the city. A nice number of caches collected along the way, and some challenging ones included, and a few more TDC kilometers travelled but we ended up a lot closer to home ground which suited us all. We even ended up chatting to some police at one of the late night caches, this tends to happen when caching at night. Overall another great night with BL and TR.
Yet another nice quick find for the night just before a bunch of passengers started to make there way of a train. Thanks for the hide.

Another Monday night and another Demolition Crew (TDC) caching run. Another legendary run of course.... We picked up a small bag of caches, about 25 in all for me, but the caches we did were rewarding. Our caching run took us in a loop around the city, up north, and then down south before retiring for the night. Heaps of fun as usual, and great company would be an understatement....
Great camo, but we got it pretty quick still. No muggles, but we were lucky, a train arrived just as we were finished. TFTC.

The Demolition Crew once again headed out for another fun night of caching. Knowing that one of the crew was going to need to go into work for a few hours in the middle of the run meant our planned caching in the Warragul area was put aside for another time. So this evening we travelled many kilometres just picking up a few new caches to the north and south of Melbourne that had recently been published. The highlight of the night was speaking to a couple of police at a cache late in the evening. As with every other encounter of this type, they were quite interested in what we were up to, but as soon as we mentioned geocaching the your female policewoman in the passenger seat laughed in recognition of the game, and asked heaps of questions. I’m sure she’ll be caching soon!
This cache was another quick find. We parked in the nearby street and soon had the cache in hand and replaced as the train passengers started filing past from the station.

Found with Bexta during my last day in Melbourne. We couldn't remove the lid from the cache and so resorted to signing the camo instead! Tftc
Took a little while but we got it in the end. Out with Schnail before her flight back to SA. we couldn't open the cache but left our mark amd will send a photo to the owner when we get home. TFTC

21/09/2012 01:52 This one was the last one I looked for on the way home from a disappointing cache run with only 1 from 3 thus far. I had found the predecessor hide on the other side of the track a few months earlier. As I approached GZ I suddenly my (recently missing) cache sense leapt into action and I made a beeline for where I thought the hide might be. I grabbed and thankfully came up with the cache. First place I looked. I was much relieved to have this little puppy put away and thus a cache for the 21st! TFTC glyn(the only one) TNLN SL
Had to drive past here today so a stop off in between rain showers was required. searched for a few minutes until the GPSr settled and then spotted it straight away. Log signed at 2:30pm - it actually took as long to get the log out of the container as it did to find the cache! Nice hide.

Found this one at 08:30 while on the way to today's bushwalk. I usually have problems with this type of hide so I was pretty chuffed to have it in hand quite quickly without so much as a peek at the hint .

1.40 On the road with Mrs 80 degrees having a girlie cacheing afternoon. Its a real support day with some we both need to do and so some one of needs to do. This one is for both of us. Parked at the station and while we did the short walk Mrs 80 took a walk along memory lane telling me of the way it used to be in the old days.
Nice easy find by Mrs 80 with a well cameo hiden cache.
Thanks glyn fjor the cache, good one

Found at 1.40pm. Mrs 80 out today with Mrs xambo4u spending a pleasant afternoon caching. This was the first on the 80's list. Parked at the station and walked around - accurate co-ords enabled Mrs80 to quickly spot the hide. TFTC
Well I had to return to Thrifty Rent a Car today to pick up my breeze tag that I stupidly left in the hire car last week - DOH!!!
And as I need a cache today and dont get to this area very often (even though I grew up near here) I decided to make a few finds while filling in time for school pickup!!
Arrived at GZ and made the quick find!! SL TFTC

Bit of time to kill before a meeting at Rydges meant I could come to a squiz here. Of course just as I was hopping out of the car meant I had muggles galore to avoid. Quick find before returning to the car to tackle log extraction, earring required! Double whammy when as I again hopped out of the car another train pulled up. Returned after they moseyed away.

Was out and about with ollave this evening and just had to grab this one (as he is the maintainer!) which I did with minimal comment, nice hide. Thanks to glyn for this one
Found this after picking lobster6 7 up from karate. JosieY came from the opposite direction with the same idea. Easy find but had to wait for a train to pass so nearby muggles could cross the tracks before I could replace the cache.

I was in the city enjoying lunch with the mother of my children when this was published, so there was no temptation to join the FTF race. This evening's visit was an easy stroll from the station carpark to the nice precise coordinates, and a quick find.
Cheers, glyn. Here's to the late circuit cache.

Found; I confess I'd seen a spoiler photograph while glyn was getting the cache approved so it was an easy find for me, even before breakfast! Thanks glyn.
Dropped by after taking a child to a nearby suburb and met up with drjim7. He made short work of the finding, which was good because it was pretty cold and I didn't have enough warm clothing on. TFTC.
Saw this one popup and thought why not try for the FTF? That's the beauty of being between jobs, I guess - plenty of time for geocaching. Coordinates are spot-on and I soon had the cache in hand. Thanks glyn.
