Cache appears to have gone missing. Will disable until I have a chance to replace.
After reading other logs it was obvious what I thought I was looking for and it was probably right in front of me... still didn't find it...

Phew! finally found it......awesome container....glad we finally cracked it after a few go's
Don't you hate it when everyone else thinks it's easy .... my GPSr said one thing, my phone another, I walked up & down, looked up & down... but not far enough.
Eureka moment & a definite favourite from me.
Thanks for the effort you have gone to with this cache.

I love this cache. On a roll our second find of the day. And close to the park where the kids run wild in the (thankfully empty) stream! TFTC
We just wonder how we missed it last time, but of course the recent gardening helped a wee bit with the cache a little bit more exposed (hopefully not too much. TFTC
Awesome Just realised I hit a century on this one. Wahoo!!!!

Hmm, that is disappointing reading now all the logs about an easy find. With the terrain rating it should be easy to reach - but not for us. Will keep an eye on this cache.
Was caught out by this one as it didn't show on my gps so RuruNZ headed to where she was being shown and I checked the opposite side only to find the cache. It's a bit damp inside and log is starting to feel damp as well. Tried to dry container as much as possible but suggest a bag for log book by CO or next finder would be in order.
Abducted kiwcampnut to "help me find a treasure". She willingly came.
After confirming that my nearby puzzle cache was indeed missing in action we made the most of the couple of hours she was allowed o be away by finding 5 around the Heathcote area. This was the third.
I headed to the right as we got out of the car. Kiwicampnut was heading for the picnic cache, and wanted to know where I was going. For some reason this wasn't on her GPSr (makes a change, it's usually me who doesn't have the up-to-date info). After confirming that it was still "live", with a find just a few days ago (pinocchio's log wasn't on my phone) it was found in a short time - and just what I thought it would be based on cache info.
Nice hid, and thanks.

Last time in the area there was a cricket match on so gave it a miss. Today, all quiet at GZ and a quick and fun find was made.. Thanks for the hide.
I kind of knew what I was looking for based on the title and sure enough there it was. Nice hide. Thanks
I knew what I was looking for based on the clue so it was a pretty quick find JUST before school finished, phew!
Thanks for a clever hide, hope it lasts
(The log is slightly damp BTW)

Visiting from Nelson and we too had taken a trip up the newly opened gondola. Sobering to look down on the road as well. This was close at the bottom and Sobad is a cricket fan so an obvious one to try. Mrs Sobad did not need his expertise though as she spotted what she thought she might spot quickly. Still a nice hide.
Thanks.
Thanks.
After a trip on the newly reopened Gondola, this was a close by cache to introduce a friend visiting from Auckland, to GeoCaching. Clever Hide. Hopefully it doesn't get hit for six anytime soon! Thanks for the cache.
2nd visit. This time no muggles around having a pre-Christmas aprty with bouncy castle, Santa on a Fire Engine etc. to get in my way. Cache found after a brief search. Some maintenance required as the container top is missing.
OUt and about for a few caches and fun on Waitangi Day. Great cache! Kids loved this one. Building nearby looking rather sad. Hope it's fixed some action taken soon. TFTC

I intended to hunt for this a couple of weeks ago but a match was on and the place was teaming with muggles. Today in the rain the place was deserted. I half expected a container of that colour! Cool.

great little find, very cunning, thanks. a little dodgy with the backtowork bbq in the same area.
Took grandson Reuben (5) out geocaching while his little sister slept at home with Grandma and newborn brother did whatever newborns do! We forgot to take the GPS or any other information so relied on cunning and skill to find caches, as well as doing several I had already found, allowing Reuben to find them. This is one of those caches. Reuben was very impressed with venue and cache as his father and uncle play club cricket. Took other grandson the next day, along with his father who told us that this cricket ground was where he scored his latest 50! Rodney

Today the weather was a bit miserable, but seeing as we haven't recently relocated to Burnham from Dunedin we figured we'd better get out and stretch the legs with S-L-P, so we picked up a few caches around town.
She had found this one in a different location, so we parked some distance from GZ, I ended up getting pretty wet, but found the cache without too much trouble.
Nice to see you thinking outside the oval on this one. Signed log on 15 January 2013 at 12:34:00

Met the owners of this cache while on holiday and discovered that it is only 1 km from our home so it really had to be done. Nice bit of camoflauge and sure that any batsmen would be happy if they could hit the ball to GZ on the full. TFTC
Quickish find with Andfriend and Chesnutz. Great camo. TSLO, and a favourite point from me.
As the other members of the family have said we took a few minutes out from our games in the domain after Christmas dinner to find this and another cache. Great fun! TFTC. #155
I really liked this cache. Found while playing in the park during forced family fun.
4905. A quick and easy find. Just what we expected for the container. Very nice! My sons sometimes play cricket here and love the short boundaries! I coached many of the Heathcote boys (men) in the Linwood College First XI. Thanks for the cache. Rodney and Iris.
Thought we knew what we would be looking for but couldn't see where it could be ! A local food market was in full swing in the upper stands, a school cricket match was in top action on the pitch so it was busy enough to include cachers on the out field. Howzat! bowled & caught & their match was over just as we were about to leave. Had to have a closer look & then found the cache! Very well done!
Found this cache in the early evening and then drove to ashburton in tears listening to the NZ cricket team loosing wickets faster than I find caches.

Howzat!!! What a brilliant hide and container. Looks like it went all the way to the boundary. Wasn't too sure if we'd be able to catch this one or not looking at recent logs. And with it being muggled recently. But we found it and we were impressed. Good job on the container! A favourite from us. Now to satisfy the bargain with the kids and go off to find a playground. The one nearby with the flying fox is spectacular. Good fun. Boy was it windy today. It was a bit scary to see the empty section were the old malt works used to be.

Coordinates changed from:
S 43° 34.829 E 172° 42.512
Coordinates changed to:
S 43° 34.834 E 172° 42.512
Distance from original: 30.6 feet or 9.3 meters.
After some confusion I have updated the coordinates slightly. The cache does not require you to jump the fence to the railways land.

Not out!
My GPSr kept pointing over the fence into the rail reserve, so I didn't follow it there, of course.
(Perhaps the owner can clarify that it's not on railways land?)

Thanks for logging today's DNF's. I went and checked the hiding place and found that the cache has been muggled. Disappointing ... but it will be back. Just need a little time to replace with a new container same or similar to the original. Thanks for the kind comments from those who logged their visits.
This was our first cache just the two of us and having not known what to look for or to expect it took us a while to find this one, and we were not disappointed, we love the container - good effort! Tftc
Out and about in the evenings daarkness....nearby so detoured to collect. Not surprisingly no one around....quick easy find in the first place I looked. Nicely done. Cheers.
Tennis really, I use to play cricket. I remember on one occasion I was bowling to an ex county player actually, I gave him a half volley just outside the off stump, he put his left foot down the wicket, he hit the ball back at me like a bullet didn't have chance to move, ball hit me straight between the eyes. Great Cache - TFTH
A neat little themed cache in a very pleasant area. Nice to arrive at a place like this after bump, bump bump. Thank you.
TFTC. I have spent a lot of time supporting and watching my son play cricket, but unfortunately never at this lovely ground. Great container.
A lovely spot to come and have a relaxing spring lunch.
A favourite vote from me.

Darn. We did our best to get here for an FTF. Oh well. Should have waited a few minutes and instead gone for the other one which was nearer to home.
Lots of cachers out early today. We were certainly not the 2nd tf. Well worth going for a drive to find it. TFTC
Mporokosa and I headed to the valley early enough for FTF or so we thought. Managed 2TF being well beaten by SLP. Love the container! TFTC.
A quick find on a Fathers Day Caching trip.Luv your container,very appropriate.TFTH
