Looks like there could be some issues with the placement of caches in this series, including this one. A find could potentially lead to a fine for being in Sydney Water catchment. Until this issue is resolved I'm disabling the cache.
Dropped in on this one today post Mega event. The cache is all ok, but could do with a new logbook. Still all ok to find.
Found during the 2019 Gong Mega signed the cache DSD thanks for the cache and the adventure. I got 2nd in battle of the labs

We are over from NZ for the Wollongong Mega and are enjoying all the great caches in the area, Tftc!
While attending the OzGeomuster Mega Event, we took some time out from catching up with many of our friends and socialising to find a cache or two.
We had no difficulty in locating the cache and with our name added to the log book, we continued on our way.
Thank you steeba for placing the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Finishing the Jamboree series with Ju before heading home today and this was another find along the way. It probably took us longer than it should of with Ju even standing over it and not noticing, but we got it in the end - TFTC
Thanks steeba for placing this geocaches 7219 find for me. CITO was first on the list after listening to Cully's talk. The next plan was to find our final GEO art, followed by the dam lab cache. Anything in-between was a bonus.
The time has finally arrived for a massive Australian road trip with The Kiwi Chicks. We are GraciesGPSfun , thedbees , Ethness, Infoferret , Jude_E and me Nosynel. We might sometimes sign the geocaches as KCs or TKCs.
Sadly there was no large event in New Zealand in 2019 but there are a few Mega events planned in Australia. New Zealand will have another large event in 2020 in Auckland.
======== NZ Mega 2020 ========
Planning for the NZ Mega 2020 event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. Thanks for hiding this geocache.

The GeoFamily and I are off to the Gong for the OzGeoMuster. We got up at sparrow flatulence, and set off in the dark. Mrs Mister JD uses Mister JD with me, but the kids have their own ids, AM_MMJD and Su_MMJD. Dawn didn't appear before Goulburn. We ate at the dreaded Maccas, and on we went to event GZ and about 8:30, where we met our geocaching friends. Hugs, chats, milling about. Then off for a day of geocaching with our mates. Day 1, we collected four and had a great day. Day two saw us with 12 caches and a lot of fun. Today, we've arranged to meet up with our mates at the fmega event site for lab caches and to do th Jamboree series. We got 15 lab caches logged, with the battle of the labs all solved but unlogged because the app didn;t want to play. No worries, we had the fun. The kids loved all the labs except the zombies. We elected to start at the dam end for the Jamboree series. We fond all of them, even the disabled one.
I'm sorry about the generic logs. The lurgy has got me.
First today. We have competition between the kids to find the caches. Good fun, and I don't have to bend my aged joints.
Find no 1 of 17 today.
Thanks, steeba

With a dying battery I had to make the last few finds on the Scout series leaving the engine running and the phone on charge while I ran over to hunt in the likely GZ areas. Flying half blind this took a little while to hone in on but a simple find in the end. Great location around here and surprisingly on my own despite the other Mega cachers around! Cheers Steeba!

Found while up at the Gong event.
Not feeling tired, I was interested in a walk down n up this road under torch light.
I would have drove it but alas the gates were locked.
To break up the walk I done every second one down n the rest on the way up.
With all the noises coming from the dark bush made it for an interesting n sometimes on edge caching experience.

Day 44
Day 10 of our “mum and kids adventure” holiday saw us head into the Gong for some lab caches and normal caches. A quick find here as we headed back to camp cleaning up a few missed caches. Many thanks.
This series of caches has been staring us in the face throughout the Mega, so Team NZ Mega 2020 just had to knock them off before the closing ceremony. TFTC.

Hi.
I enjoyed escaping from the camp this morning to check out the dam. I wasn't sure if I'd bother caching but after a nice walk along the dam I decided why not. So I found 14/15 caches on my way back to camp. The one I didn't get was because of a picnic there. I also added a page of waterproof paper to a couple if cages with full log books.
Thanks for the caches.

It's MEGA weekend, this time up in The 'Gong.
I joined the usual suspects, Aquilus1, dty73 and Tankengine for a few days of merriment, labs, geoart and a few select oldies and cool D/T. I was unfortunately a little late to the party only arriving after lunchtime on Saturday, but everyone was so happy to see me and had had an absolute ball doing the lab caches and the jamboree power trail...I was kind of sad to be interrupting their fun.
Anyway.... so many labs, so much geoart and so little time... but we made very good time on Saturday afternoon, being joined for a few hours by Loci612 in the every so roomy car.
Fantastic dinner and then back to the trivia for fun times... with DIP & CHEESE! At the end of the night my big beautiful cosy bed was waiting for me untouched!
The Sunday morning was targeted oldies and goodies, then the completion of the geoart.... had to have that one saved for posterity on my map. I couldnt resist cleaning up the rest of the regulars on the Jamboree trail before a last minute night-cache-in-the-day with jm383.
It all had to come to an end so I started the long-enough-to-be-boring drive back to Canberra.
Thanks to all the organisers and CO's... I had a ball

I managed to get a few days off work to head up to the Wollongong Mega and to make a relaxing time of it by spending a few days around the area. Lot's of great caches, great lab caches and awesome views across Wollongong made for a very enjoyable few days and I hadn't been in this area since I was a small kid so couldn't remember anything.
In between lab cache adventures today I also made my way along here while also waiting for others so we could do the labs as a group.
Thanks for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Was in the area for the OZgeomuster19 with GreyHams, dty73, and Tankengine, although GreyHams was only able to join us for some of the weekend. Not a lot of time but still managed a good amount with the Adventure Labs, Geoart, some oldies, lots of good sized containers, and some good DT caches as well.
Nice area to visit and some great targeted caches along the way, of course being a mega weekend it was heaving with geocaches and we met many along the way at caches, many times stopping at caches with many cars and caches at a time.
Canberra had a mass group attending and was always good to bump into many along the way, as well as back on site. Loci612 joined us for a large amount of the geoart and lots of fun times by all. Always good to have the backing of our friendly community!
Thanks to all the CO's for your caches, unless noted otherwise all was found easily and in good condition.

Generic Log to follow…….
The Stumble’s met up with Gr8cahes whilst having a dismal attempt at solving our first ever Lab cache. Instantly they became our new best friends and helped us to complete two of them!
We left camp both days to collect some real geocaches. All in all, we spent the 2 days travelling around the area including Bald Hill and the Sea Cliff Bridge. Whilst we didn’t collect a huge number of caches, the fact that we were spending time in great company and met sooooo many fantastic and helpful cachers along the way made the weekend worthwhile. Its always nice to put a face to a cache name!
All caches attempted were successfully found except one and it was fun watching Daniel jump in and out of the car like an excited kid, racing off to claim the find. Some were really easy to find whilst others took a bit longer or required the skills of a monkey to locate!

Southern Cross Caching
Found with dty73 and Aquilus1. We came down to the Wollongong area to attend the mega! And of course, we did a few other caches while we were down here! This was one of them! The weather was perfect, indeed, t-shirt weather during the day! This was especially nice, as rain had been forecast! We had a great couple of days down here. Great caches, great company and some nice meals! Not to mention very nice accommodation down at Bulli! Running into other cachers and swapping pathtags was also part of the fun! Thanks for the cache steeba, and thanks for the company dty73 and Aquilus1! Oh, and thanks dty73 for all the driving - mammoth effort!
Teamed up with Natalie247 and Hinemona from NZ, and called ourselves Trans tasman team signing as TTT. Picking up a few near camp. Lovely area. Nice to add to our days tally. Good hide! Tftc
