found the other cabbage tree cache, while searching for this one I found an empty ziplock bag and a soaked geo note. couldn't check the whole area as it was soaked haha

27-Aug-14
Sadly, this one has been muggled and is gone along with its hiding place. May have to think up something different if we replace it.

Today I set out down south to collect a few caches. I remembered searching for this one with Patches. Since then he provided me with a hint. It paid off in the 'end.' I remember searching right past this area. Nice spot.

Finally! Success! It took an email to CO to get some more clues so we went back today and found cache in five minutes. Phew! Sooo happy! What a clever sneaky hide. Definitely a favourite. Spent a lot of time on it over 2 previous attempts. SLTN TFTC ... and extra help colleda

25-Feb-14
Had another attempt to find this one. Read all the logs, still can't figure it out. Oh well! Might take the easy way out and contact CO. We're defeated!

11-Feb-14
GPSrs had us one 1m from the cache co-ords but no luck finding it this time. Gave up and will come back next week. Got to go read through some older logs to give us some more clues. We'll be back!

Haha. This one was an evil hide. Third attempt at this one, and we finally uncovered this one's hiding spot. Excellent construction. Left geocoin

Thanks for the cache colleda.

20-Jan-14
DNF or Did not look, as I made may way over through a less desirable 'track' and crossing a smelly creek.
Got within 14m go GZ and then spotted a red bellied black snake slither in the direction of GZ. Since I was not wearing any shoes I decided to not go any further and went back to the car.

16-Jan-14
Cache check today. All good.

07-Jan-14
No success today! Even after looking through logs for hints we still came up empty Sad

27-Dec-13
A second look today revealed nothing

We were on a trail lookin to get to robs track but ended up here. Trails seem to go everywhere. Had a look. Read some logs. Figuring where it could be. Lost interest really.

After battling our way through the jungle, fending off fire breathing dragons, well water dragons... Found our way to GZ. GeoWife caused a noise that I said needed further investigation and soon had CIH. Yeah, team effort. Sneaky.

Found with a friend who found this before. Buried in overgrowth.

04-Nov-13
Woke up early this fairly late this morning wandering what I was going to do for the rest of the day, Stuck my head out the window to check the weather average day very windy though. What was the great master plan I came up with Caching of course what else, Travelled North towards Swansea, Belmont. Past desolation Row at Catherine Hill Bay. They should have saved the Garage and burnt the prawn. Hoping to pick up a few caches. And the new series at Swansea. Found in company with the xPhenoms we were almost Stymied by a fast flowing torrent of raging water, But throwing caution to the wind we waded through the leach and crocodile infested water and safely reached the other side and on to the GZ. After searching for what seemed a eternity I was about to give up when a cry from the xPhenoms muttered What's Dis Den. Nice cache. TFTC

20-Sep-13
Poor gps signal, reading previous logs, searching everything within arms reach and geohubster, geokids and I were stumped! Decided to call it, was walking back to the car, reread a log with a double meaning and decided to give it one last shot and bingo! Very very clever hide... The hints in previous logs all made sense once it was found, really enjoyed this... TFTH!

14-Sep-13
Great hiding spot!!! Smile

09-Sep-13
The volunteers are back! The paths today had been cleared and freshly mulched, easy to spot any lurking wildlife. We soon arrived at GZ and had a bit of a poke around, then tried one possibility and there it was. Thanks to Colleda for a very good hide.

09-Sep-13
Great spot!!! Couldnt find it yesterday, went back today as i wasnt going to let it beat me. Thankyou.

09-Sep-13
Rewarding (with Lynda2712)

23-Aug-13
OMG only my 4th time here and finally got it..... Actually kuriosityhunt found it after we studied every single log..... So relieved.... Phew!!

22-Aug-13
Very hard, was there got about an hour!!

04-Aug-13
So we thought we found this cache previously but it turns out we had gotten it wrong (thank you colleda for emailing me about this so that we could go back and have another look) We were almost about to give up and move on to the next one on the Cabbage Tree Palm Walk when I went back to where I had first started searching and there it was. I found it almost by accident! TFTC + TFTH! Brilliant hiding place I was very impressed by this!
I did this with my boyfriend so 2 things were taken (one each) and two things put in as follows:
Took: Beaded bracelet + blue extendable key chain
Left: Yellow hair elastic + black rubber arm band

31-Jul-13
I had checked this one yesterday and it was fine. Have disabled it until I can check it again.

31-Jul-13
Found it but it seems like someone has messed with it. The contents were scattered around and the container had no lid. Picked up the contents and put it back in but definitely needs someone to fix it up Smile
Picked up: a mini red and white pool ball
Dropped off: 2 heart shaped clips

31-Jul-13
Checked to day and nothing is amiss. Last logged 28/7.

28-Jul-13
Found this with a little persistance signed log took bouncy ball left a braclet very smart hide enjoyed the walk

15-Jul-13
This one is proving a little tricky to find so I have added to the hint.

15-Jul-13
I don't want a hint, just park a lawnmower at the start or hang a machete on the sign! The committee was disbanded last time I heard, no-one is maintaining the tracks now.

15-Jul-13
Someone seems to be doing occasional maintenance as the tracks weren't too overgrown when I've done cache checks but the scrub does grow back very quickly. If it gets too bad I may attack it with my own whipper snipper.

11-Jul-13
didnt find it..... looked for about half hour, hard to look without bush bashing thou there has been alot of rain lately so not sure if that has made it harder to find...... will come back again soon

21-May-13
It is there but very well concealed.

20-May-13

A GAFF1 DNF after half an hours look with MVMtBiker helping out.
Didn't have any notes to check on, so kept on looking. Did find a cute possum up a tree.
Am glad the CO had been here recently and checked on it. So will have another go, hopefully in daylight next time when down.

02-May-13
Co needs to check please

01-May-13
Passing by and decided to check on it. Its still there.

25-Apr-13
We had a good look here today but found nothing out of place, searching on the ground, above and below. We talked with a young fellow for some time as we were retreating defeated. He said the previous people looking after the area had gone and he was looking for volunteers to help him continue the work. This explained why the paths and around GZ are getting very overgrown already. Thanks to Colleda anyway, this is a nice place.

28-Mar-13
Not this time anyway

Too tricky for us today. We'd already found 8 today, so must have been all geocached out by this time!

24-Feb-13
Found entry point at S 33 04.088 E 151 38.649. We had to do a bit of thinking at GZ. We knew it wouldn't need a bush bash. And there was a lot of standing water after yesterday's big rains so we didn't really want to travel off the track. That didn't leave too many places. And sure enough, there it was. Cleverly hidden in a custom-made place. TN L a ladybug SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek

24-Feb-13
Lots of water and the path getting a bit overgrown in places makes this area feel very jungly. A cleverly hidden cache that would be so easy to overlook. TFTC colleda

Reperio at 1435.

With a beautiful day relaxing with family...we decided some caching was in order...so we headed down the coast a little. We stopped by here first...and whilst I had been here previously to grab the cache just around the corner...I left this one for another day. The area was certainly covered in water with all the recent rain...and I wondered whether the cache had gone AWOL as I didn't see it initially. Eventually came back to look in a spot I looked at when I first arrived...and due to the nature additional camo covereing it...I soon spotted was I had missed before. A very nice hide and perfect for this spot.

Gratias colleda.

Sneaky, very sneaky. Wasnt til I read other logs did I find it!

16-Sep-12
Caching with TheMonks.
It took us a few false starts to find the correct track in so we wouldn't be bush bashing or getting wet feet. Once that was accomplished, we had a search which included high, low, under and over, and troll-like, until the very cleverly hidden cache was spied. And when we stopped moving to sign the log, the mozzies descended!!!!

Found this one after tracking down a new cache in the same area. This one was little tricky approaching from a particular direction, it wasn't until we walked a way a little and approached from the other direction that we made the find. Thanks colleda.

10-Sep-12
Great cache we soon found it and signed the log while listening to the sound of all the mozzies trying to feast on us nice work on this one Thanks colleda for the hides
