Nice easy find with Day1976 on a cool day on a bike ride between Anderson and Dalyston.
Found with Ilukaperi on a nice day out for a bike ride between Anderson and Dallyston. OMG, I saw the donkey in the bush!!!!!!
**This was 1 of 36 caches that was found by me on the 8th of 16 caching days here in Australia. Which also was the 45th of 75 days that my travels thru southeast Asia and Oceania would last.**
*Together with Ingabo, jsson and Sivun I would spend 16 days in Australia. Our journey started in Melbourne and ended in Sydney. After that I continued to New Zealand while the others headed back towards Melbourne.*
*All in all I did manage to find 263 caches, 9 types, 3 new months and many more statistical fillers.*

We, (jsson, peter-tvm, Sivun and myself) went for a small car drive on Philip island today. We logged as IJPS.
We had nice weather so we made some longer walks too.
Thanks for placing a cache for me to enjoy and find.

Out on a caching day with tooth66 and possum 64. Happy to find the donkey and give it a little love. TFTC
People were not kidding when they said Donkey in the bush! This one was easy if you are in the right track!
Apologies for the late log. My family were away in New Zealand so I planned a few caching excursions and I’m still catching up on logs. This was a great day spent on bikes on the Bass Coast Rail Trail with liambaxter88. Rain was forecast so were really pleased to get through till just after lunch when we had to abandon and not before we had brought up Liam’s biggest ever caching day. I apologise for my logs being largely generic as I didn’t take notes on the day and have been slow to log. Having crossed over the Bass Highway we headed on to this one and made a quick find. My 38th of 49 finds for the day. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache and the series Gonefishen07.
This series was part of my biggest caching day so far! Thanks to AnnoyingTarbit for taking me down here and Gonefishen07 for the time put into the series. We somewhat managed to avoid most of the rain.
Continuing on our adventure after attending the Alexandra Mega Event, we found ourselves spending a few days on Phillip Island. While we tried to take advantage of the many great places to see on the island, we were pre-occupied with trying to complete the qualifying requirements for a particular challenge cache we had signed in Ballarat prior to the Surf Coast Mega Event last year. It really does pay to check the finer details of a challenge cache before you decide to look for it We had thought you needed to have found 100 caches in Victoria, but it was only when we came to log it that we realised the 100 caches in Victoria had to have been placed by the same cache owner
Anyway, initially we thought we would complete the challenge by doing the Mt Disappointment caches, but then friends who knew we were heading to Phillip Island told us we would easily qualify for the challenge there, and they would be much more interesting caches Well they were quite interesting, and some of them were downright sneaky
In the end, we had an enjoyable couple of days exploring Phillip Island and finding a variety of cache hides, with some great walks along some of the beaches and other places
Thank you Gonefishen07 for having placed the cache and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Replaced cache and added a rock stone log so should be able to handle a little moisture.
Day three of my Victorian Caching Adventure. Time to get put the bicycle I’d hired to work and explore the Bass Rail Trail. I left the bike at my motel and drove out to Anderson parked there and caught a bus back to Wonthaggi so I only had to cycle the one way. A great ride I’d recommend to anyone. The caching along the way was a bonus really. I had a reasonable good hit rate and found most of the ones I looked for. Cheers and TFTC
What a great place to come for a ride and cache hunt.
I can hardly believe how lucky we are to be surrounded by such beautiful spots. Even nicer is that I am new to the area so get to see them all for the first time.
Yes, I saw the donkey in the bushes lol
Thanks Gonefishen07

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches. I have got a nice streak going and hoping to let it run for as long as possible. This may or may not become easier now that I have found a job but I’m still currently staying with my brother (stinky tom) and his family which includes my nephew (stinky bob).
A big thanks goes out to all the cachers and cache owners without whom this lifestyle would not be possible.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work. Everyone likes finding a well maintained cache with a dry logbook.

With it being a long weekend what better reason than to have a ball caching with geowife. Saturday we found 130 caches at Mt. Disappointment, but today we got our new bikes out with the goal of finding all the caches on this trail from Anderson to Killy.
Geowife on a roll, with another find here.
Thanks Gonefishin07 for the series.

Found today whilst out on the geobike. Started this series two years ago and have finally got back. Thanks for the fun and exercise. TFTC
While out in the company of the McLookers we set out to get a start on the trail with bikes ready & roaring, plenty of water and snacks packed we were off. The sun belting down made for a hot ride but with sunscreen applied and our helmets for protection we enjoyed the trail and all caches on offer. Most caches were found with only a few DNF'S as we kept the pace up ...pedal, search, sign, pedal!
Thanks Gonefishen07 for your efforts put into this rail trail series, we had a ball.

Yes, we saw the donkey!!
In the area on bikes with The Tritonz with the aim of completing the Rail Trail. The grass was very, very long in many places. Fortunately we did not see a snake...I am not sure how as it was a very snakey kind of day. Thanks GF07, it is a brilliant picturesque trail that gave us the opportunity to see another very pretty part of Victoria.

Out for a weekend bike ride with the Whittlesea Bicycle Users Group. I did a bit of caching along the way as we explored the Bass Coast Rail Trail and Phillip Island. Riding with a group of muggles (plus GraWil) affords little time to grab caches but I did manage to find 24. This was one of them. Thank you for placing these caches for folk like me to find.
Teamed up with OZHockeyChick to ride the trail and grab a few caches. This is about the third time I have ridden this section of the trail now. Thanks Gonefishen07 for the cache.

A day trip with Rebel Acts to do as many of this rail trail as possible. Most of them smileys, with a handful of tough DNFs here and there. A lovely day. Thanks for the series, Gonefishen07

Father's Day geocaching with the whole family, there's nothing better. This is our third section of the rail trail and we are thoroughly enjoying the variety of hides and the stunning views.
Thanks for the hides.

A nice little cache that we found without bother today on our cycling trip. Log signed and all back again.
5th for the day. That might be enough! Good cache. Not sure which log to sign so went for the easiest! Thanks
A quick and easy walk by on our way from P.I. to Wonthaggi. Love the necktie. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
#779 - Day two of my trip down to the Inverloch for some caching.
The first part of my day today consisted of riding the rail trail from Wonthaggi to Kilcunda picking up as many Rail Trail caches as I could. My weapon of choice was my brothers cycle-cross bike so I could give it a go, with the decision to leave my road and mountain bike at home.
After having a bit of a sleep in to 7am this morning to catch up on some sleep, I quickly had breakfast and headed off to park at Wonthaggi to start the ride.
Between the hours of 08:00-15:00, I was able to get to Kilcunda and back as well as complete 44 of the 50 rail trail caches that I set out to do, (6 DNF's due to not being able to find them and not spend to much time there or due to muggle activity).
I was very impressed with the variety of caches and different cache hides along this part of the Rail Trail. I ended up spending a lot more time looking for caches then riding as quite a few of them were a challenge to find!
This was the last cache I attempted before turning back and making the return trip to Wonthaggi.
This cache made me laugh. A lot. Gets a Goat point from me.
Thank you Gonefishen07 for the effort put into these caches, had a really fun ride.

Find number one for the day, down for a day or two, hopefully got a few more to find today Tftc
Find no. 2 today with geo daughter and her muggle partner who mutters a lot about caching, but still comes looking with us. A bit exposed so we put it back in the bush a bit better. TFTC gf 07
A great morning to continue the rail trail hunt with robber44 and cjfinda. I have logged these finds late and so apologise for the generic nature of these logs - one excellent hide blends into another after a long walk and a few days! We have enjoyed the work GF07 has put into this trail. Without her efforts I would never have felt the slightest inclination to walk from Woolamai to Wonthaggi - it's amazing how short a long walk can feel when liberally scattered with pieces of tupperware! Stopped by this one on the way back to the Island - we missed visiting this fella somewhere along the way. Done now TFTC.
Stopped in Kilkunda for an ice cream on a warm day and strolled up the trail for a quick donkey ride. TFTC
Out on a beautiful sunny day to try our hand at another stretch of the rail trail with matt_geo and robber44. A quick find with an ice-cream in hand to finish a satisfying morning's caching. (Pretty happy that the grass was freshly mown)

We were staying in Korumburra for a couple of days with The Drovers with the main gaol of completing this rail trail and also hopefully picking up a few challenge caches.
Today started off windy and rainy but at least the rain held off long enough for us to do the first leg. On the plus side there were no muggles to worry about as we only passed one other person on the entire track.
We had a fantastic time finding some unusual containers and with only one DNF we can say what a ball we had today.
Many thanks Gonefishen07 for not only the trail but for all the work and effort that you have put into the hides.
We apologise for the generic log but are leaving a favourite point on each one to show our appreciation.
