Nothing here for me. I though maybe the rail sleeper, but couldn't see anything on it. Had a poke around the shrubbery but nothing there either.
Unfortunately we didn't find this cache, might have been better if there was a clue, cause looking for a micro in a patch of bushes when your GPS is off is very tricky.
Out on a caching day with tooth66 and possum 64. Had a bit of a hunt but found by possum 64 in an obvious spot.
Found with geo wife kezza1211 and Rogerz1956 out on a bike ride around Sth Gippsland area TFTC
Apologies for the late log. My family were away in New Zealand so I planned a few caching excursions and I’m still catching up on logs. This was a great day spent on bikes on the Bass Coast Rail Trail with liambaxter88. Rain was forecast so were really pleased to get through till just after lunch when we had to abandon and not before we had brought up Liam’s biggest ever caching day. I apologise for my logs being largely generic as I didn’t take notes on the day and have been slow to log. Having parked at Kilcunda we rode back to this one to carry on from where we had left off. This one was tough and took us a while before we spotted it. Thanks Zoe! My 35th of 49 finds for the day. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache and the series Gonefishen07.
This series was part of my biggest caching day so far! Thanks to AnnoyingTarbit for taking me down here and Gonefishen07 for the time put into the series. We somewhat managed to avoid most of the rain.
Continuing on our adventure after attending the Alexandra Mega Event, we found ourselves spending a few days on Phillip Island. While we tried to take advantage of the many great places to see on the island, we were pre-occupied with trying to complete the qualifying requirements for a particular challenge cache we had signed in Ballarat prior to the Surf Coast Mega Event last year. It really does pay to check the finer details of a challenge cache before you decide to look for it We had thought you needed to have found 100 caches in Victoria, but it was only when we came to log it that we realised the 100 caches in Victoria had to have been placed by the same cache owner
Anyway, initially we thought we would complete the challenge by doing the Mt Disappointment caches, but then friends who knew we were heading to Phillip Island told us we would easily qualify for the challenge there, and they would be much more interesting caches Well they were quite interesting, and some of them were downright sneaky
In the end, we had an enjoyable couple of days exploring Phillip Island and finding a variety of cache hides, with some great walks along some of the beaches and other places
Thank you Gonefishen07 for having placed the cache and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Day three of my Victorian Caching Adventure. Time to get put the bicycle I’d hired to work and explore the Bass Rail Trail. I left the bike at my motel and drove out to Anderson parked there and caught a bus back to Wonthaggi so I only had to cycle the one way. A great ride I’d recommend to anyone. The caching along the way was a bonus really. I had a reasonable good hit rate and found most of the ones I looked for. Cheers and TFTC
An awesome bike ride along this track. There was a dead animal nearby judging by the smell but luckily it didn't take too long to find the cache so I could carry on.
Thanks Gonefishen07

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches. I have got a nice streak going and hoping to let it run for as long as possible. This may or may not become easier now that I have found a job but I’m still currently staying with my brother (stinky tom) and his family which includes my nephew (stinky bob).
A big thanks goes out to all the cachers and cache owners without whom this lifestyle would not be possible.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work. Everyone likes finding a well maintained cache with a dry logbook.
Thanks Gonefishen07

With it being a long weekend what better reason than to have a ball caching with geowife. Saturday we found 130 caches at Mt. Disappointment, but today we got our new bikes out with the goal of finding all the caches on this trail from Anderson to Killy.
Geowife liked this one!
Had to wait for a snake to move off the path so we could keep going on our ride/hunt.
Thanks Gonefishin07 for the series.

Found today whilst out on the geobike. Started this series two years ago and have finally got back. Thanks for the fun and exercise. TFTC
While out in the company of the McLookers we set out to get a start on the trail with bikes ready & roaring, plenty of water and snacks packed we were off. The sun belting down made for a hot ride but with sunscreen applied and our helmets for protection we enjoyed the trail and all caches on offer. Most caches were found with only a few DNF'S as we kept the pace up ...pedal, search, sign, pedal!
Thanks Gonefishen07 for your efforts put into this rail trail series, we had a ball.

Great cache camo but a LOT of burrs attaching to me.
In the area on bikes with The Tritonz with the aim of completing the Rail Trail. The grass was very, very long in many places. Fortunately we did not see a snake...I am not sure how as it was a very snakey kind of day. Thanks GF07, it is a brilliant picturesque trail that gave us the opportunity to see another very pretty part of Victoria.

Out for a weekend bike ride with the Whittlesea Bicycle Users Group. I did a bit of caching along the way as we explored the Bass Coast Rail Trail and Phillip Island. Riding with a group of muggles (plus GraWil) affords little time to grab caches but I did manage to find 24. This was one of them. Thank you for placing these caches for folk like me to find.
Teamed up with OZHockeyChick to ride the trail and grab a few caches. This is about the third time I have ridden this section of the trail now. Thanks Gonefishen07 for the cache.

A day trip with Rebel Acts to do as many of this rail trail as possible. Most of them smileys, with a handful of tough DNFs here and there. A lovely day. Thanks for the series, Gonefishen07

Father's Day geocaching with the whole family, there's nothing better. This is our third section of the rail trail and we are thoroughly enjoying the variety of hides and the stunning views.
Thanks for the hides.

Seemed like an obvious spot but still took some finding.

Beautiful and mostly clear early winter day out with the Geodog. I'd been wanting to talk this series for years as Killy is only a five minute drive from home. Most of the caches in this section were quite easy finds which was handy as it made the walk to Anderson 1 hour 20 minutes and the walk back to Killy 45 minutes. TFTC.
Out for a ride with Mark9375 and 4bait. Quick grab and we were on our way. TFTC
Found @ 3:14 pm on the 23 April 2016 thanks for this cache Gonefishen07
It was hard to bear that cache lol tftc cool camo

Nice find but just couldn't bear it while out on the bike with mark9375 and Geojill-11 TFTF
Coming across this one geodude#74 had to some maintenance as the cache wasnt attached to its home all fixed now and signed tftc with geodude#74
Found this one with Lilmissgeo. Needed some maintenance so I took care of that while she signed the log. Cache re hidden ready for the next cacher. TFTC!
This marks my 500th Geocache. Quick find . Not sure whats going on with the log.Found a tiny piece of paper with a couple names on it. New Log needed?
Found on our last day in this area. We've decided to start at this end of the trail and see how far we can get, we'll have to come back to get the rest. At last the weather is pleasant for walking, although the flies are loving us! Apologies for the generic logs. TFTC
On a road trip while over for the Melbourne Mega.
Thanks for adding to the enjoyment of this trip.

A cute little cache that was quickly found. Log book gone and only a temp piece of paper that was signed and safely back again.
The log has disappeared and only a small piece of paper acting as a temporary log. Cache however is in good order. Thanks
This cache was a easy find however the log was missing and nowhere to be seen. We wrote our log on a small piece of paper and stuck it to into the cache. We came back onto the track to find our shoes were covered in large bindi type seeds.
Today, we decided to do this section of the rail trail to get out numbers up to 1600 finds, which we did manage to do quite easily. Rain was threatening by the time we started, after getting off the bus from Kilcunda, where we'd left the car, but we never got wet at all.
We found all of the caches quite easily and it didn't take long to traverse the whole trail, with all logs filled and a smiley face for each, from Anderson to the highway at Kilcunda.
Thanks Gonefishen07 for the cache and placements.

After the Melbourne Event at Casey Fields (Cranborne) we headed towards Phillip Island for some R&R.
Day 3 of our island adventure. Decided to attack a cache or 2 and investigate the surrounds.
A little evening caching towards Wonthagi.

Out for a morning walk with OrionJ and almost to the end for this morning. Loved the reason for Zoe's càche. Soon found this one and added our names to the log. TFTC
Taking a little look at the Rail Trail today with LHE Duo, and we had decided to start at "Rail Trail - Steelie" which unfortunately was a DNF, and from here we headed south from here. We continued on and found some 20 of the caches along this trail finishing with "Rail Trail-You can bank on it."
Mr LHE Duo helped by moving the car to the end, while myself and Mrs LHE Duo walked the trail. The walk totalled around 7km, and was fairly pleasant, with the exception of the flies that were in abundance.
An apology for the copy and paste log, it is not meant to take anything from the enjoyment I had doing this trail, or the beautiful part of the world.

#830 - My forth and final day down the coast today and I had decided last night that I would just do a few easy caches on my way back up North. As I drove past Kilcunda though, I ended up surprising myself and parking…
I still had half a rail trail to complete and a bike in the back! Even though I was extremely tired and sore from the last three days of intense caching, my mind was made up and well.. Once a Mountain Goat’s mind is made up, good luck changing it!
So off I rode, completing the second half of the rail trail. Even though the sun was out in full force today, there was no muggles to be seen! This was a huge bonus and sped up my ride considerably as I did need to be getting home!
By the time I hit the end of the rail trail, I had been able to put 45 smileys on caches and only had 7 DNF’s which was a good figure considering the rush I was in. Once again the high standard and variety of caches that awaited me blew me away. Such a well put together series that keeps you interested and always guessing!
Thank you again Gonefishin07 for the time and effort you have put into this series.

Well done Zoe! Though we hope you're friends with the folk in the big houses up yonder as we felt like shags on the proverbial whilst we did our stuff. Nowhere to hide from those windows. We drew the line here though & turned tail for our car back at the bus terminus knowing we were saving plenty up for our next visit to this wonderul area. Thanks for all your efforts in laying this trail Gonefishen07.
Another quick find of the caches, the geopartner is learning to ride the bike again today Tftc
Quick find in its raincoat. Only one muggle seen on the trail so far today, it is wet windy and cold.

We were staying in Korumburra for a couple of days with The Drovers with the main gaol of completing this rail trail and also hopefully picking up a few challenge caches.
Today started off windy and rainy but at least the rain held off long enough for us to do the first leg. On the plus side there were no muggles to worry about as we only passed one other person on the entire track.
We had a fantastic time finding some unusual containers and with only one DNF we can say what a ball we had today.
Many thanks Gonefishen07 for not only the trail but for all the work and effort that you have put into the hides.
We apologise for the generic log but are leaving a favourite point on each one to show our appreciation.

Met up with Team Crackers for 2 days, to tackle the Rail Trail and a few local caches.
With the threat of rain, we headed out on the bikes.
We found a good variety of hides, with the odd one being a little tricky.
This is a fantastic trail, and we award each one a favourite point.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Gonefishen07, for us and others to find.

Wasn't really camouflaged when we found it so left it as is. Seems to be turning into an ants nest.
Travelling around Australia in our Caravan with our cat, today Mr Felix headed out on the GeoBike to tackle some more of the rail trail.
Knowing that some of these micro's were to be evil not a lot of hope was held for a numbers run today.
Happy New Year! Well seems every muggle from here to Melbourne was out walking or riding the rail trail today. . It was a struggle but somebody had to do it. .
Beautiful day and the rain held off. An amazing series you have created here. So much hard work and effort has gone into constructing then of course to maintain too. Great work.
TFTC Looking forward to meeting other geocachers at the next Australian Geocaching Mega event

Lesson 1. Do not let the 9 year old lead you to the cache. We went much further into the bush than we needed to. However eventually we found our way to the correct spot and spotted the cache.
Cup Day dawned bright and warm with little wind to speak of, so back on to the rail trail for further adventures.....we started from just past Anderson and walked to Kilcunda with the family. Cute container - quick find. TFTC
A morning out caching with mum, dad, grandad and my sister. Another cool cache. Thanks for this series of caches.
Found today with geo daughter, daughter and grand daughter. Also muggle who does not like caching but tags along anyway. It was missing last time I looked. TFTC GF07
Out on a caching trip from NZ. Rented some bikes from Cowes on the island and decided to have a cycle along the trail. Enjoyed the gentle grade and the different caches. Luckily for us we had no encounters with the wildlife depicted on the trail markers. TFTC
Excuse the mainly generic logging. Down on a mission to ride the Bass Coast Rail Trail over a couple of days. Day 1 meant parking at Anderson's ParknRide but didn't realise that related to another type of ride!
Found! Found quickly but getting the log back in was hard.
The day started for me at 7:25am & I finished at 5:29pm in Wonthaggi. I had the most enjoyable time seeing plenty along the way & enjoyed the variety of cache hides & containers. A brilliant effort and I thank the CO for the most enjoyable day out!

Out with Lozgur for a long awaited day to do part of this trail. perfect day with the sun shining and temp stayed low to mid 20s. We really enjoyed this track as it was a nice easy ride on our bikes and the views were fantastic. The ones we did were an easy find and didn't take too much time to find, with the names of the caches as a hint they were very well named. Can't wait to do the rest of them.
