Didn't find it, but too be fair didn't spend long looking, thought I was in the right direction until I found an unavoidable spider web, with a beauty on it. for another day.

What a wonderful park, yet so devoid of muggles even on a beautiful sunny weekend.
A fitting place and fitting recognition. TFTC Gibbo455!

Cache found. Photo hint taken from bench helped lots only when I ignored the magnetic hint. Cache returned to same location unsigned.
Look down low. Nice little spot that has not been well looked after. Lots of rubbish around the site which makes me sad.
Couldn't find it the raff memorial is a lovely place but it seems to have had a lot of bandicoot activity lately with holes dug every where will have to try again another time if anyone had any hints they want to put up that would be good
Couldn't find it looks like there has been a lot of bandicoot activity in the raaf garden as there are holes dug everywhere if any one has hints they might like to add that would be great but will try again another day
Took 15 mins but finally found. It was on the floor tho, not attached where it should be :/
Lots of fun!
Lots of fun!
Search n searched on this fine Mother's Day but nothing, zip nada... I still have no clue with helpful clues... So shall come back another day
Finally got CIH on the 3rd attempt. Im sure i looked there earler but it must have been on the floor covered not where its meant to be. Tftc and for confirming it was still here. With Jasmine.
Came to check this one after the recent DNF's. Cache remains in place.
I removed the unwanted tag alongs and have returned for next finder

2nd time here n still nothing. Feel like it might have been muggled. Not many places this tin could have been hidden considering its magnetic.
I think it might have been taken my first attempt. I did find a lot of beer bottles
Found while away geocaching with tmann421. Thanks to all the great hiders out there that enabled us to see some fantastic views & places in NSW. Sorry for the late logs but it will be Xmas before I catch up
Thanks Gibbo455, another good find for us on our last day around Sydney area.
Simple yet effective hide.

Took a lot longer to find than expected but wasnt going to give up. Searched through previous logs and within a couple of mins had CIH. Very tricky and cool camo!! TFTC!!
I looked in all the obvious spots. Was surprised when the container was larger than I expected. TFTC.

In the dark, thought I'd try to grab this one.
Walked around a bit, having trouble getting a fix under the trees. Finally decided where the cache had to be & to my surprise, found it by torchlight.
Interesting container - wrong service branch...

Picked up on our way to work, this cache took way longer to find than it should have. We finally found it in a place we thought we had already checked. SL, TFTC Gibbo455.
As we arrived someone parked nearby but took off for a morning walk so we were free to search. It took a while but we eventually had CIH. SL TFTC
found it quick with dolphia, nice RAAF Memorial Park... thanks for bringing us here.
Almost 10 finds today with Tjpatto... TFTC - cute container fitting with the surroundings!
Another war memorial cache. Shame as I would have liked to appreciate the cache more.
Whilst on a trip to clear out this area, i stopped by this one and parked but as i got out of the car i noticed a car had snuck past me and parked right opposite GZ, whilst waiting to see if it was a cacher [person didnt get out] i was almost going to leave the scene and come back later but the car soon left and walked straight up to GZ, grabbed the cache and SL as quickly as possible before another car showed up. Loved the container. TFTC Gibbo455
Took a little bit for the gps to settle but once it did cache was soon in hand. This was a great place for me to visit as I have served for 27 years so far
Thanks
Thanks
I have tried to park here a few times but there is a small white mini van parked at GZ.
This time I was earlier and apart from some jogging mugglers I had the area to my self.
This time I was able to get out and go into the site and look.
This time I was able to find the cache and rntd safe.
Thanks for this little memorial site.

I pulled up at the park just as a couple and their dog, and a bunch of workers pulled up. Still I found the cache without them seeing. TFTC

I did note a rolled up log stuffed in the end of a pipe railing leading me to suspect it might be muggled. I was unable to extract the log without destroying it so it remains in place.
While taking some new coordinates today I checked cache placement and it is still where I placed it!
Parked on top of GZ, knowingly I don't have to search the ashfelt. As usual I was gunhoe in my aimless search. Stopped and read hint and started again, no luck, read logs and even punched in Coords from a previous finder which led me off course and then instinct took place.
I would hind a cache here and saw the container on the ground with a man aiming his rifle at me.
Carefully opened and signed log without being shot. TFTC

Got the day off work but had to go early to Colyton so on the way home decided to find a cache. I agree with morley's coords except I think he meant .941 SL #642 on streak day #140 TFTC
Like everyone else I had trouble with the phone, came up with .338 .341 in the end after a PAF as I couldn't get it under 6 mts even when standing right on it. BLACK HOLE is here. its close to the path so you don't need to trample on any thing. TFTC Gibbo good to visit this memorial as I had never been here before
Coordinates have been adjusted twice here but will go and see if I can get another reading today.
Seems to have trouble getting a good set of numbers.
Seems to have trouble getting a good set of numbers.
I wanted to add to my log that I really sympathise with the difficulties of getting good coords in certain 'bad satellite' areas. Team Canary thinks this is one of them. In the past I've used long periods of 'waypoint averaging' for a couple of my own hides and still haven't quite got it right. But for this cache, if you know that you don't have to go into the gardens, the CO's clue should be a big help. Thanks again to Gibbo455, and especially for remembering our RAAF and other service people.
Since pjmpjm had some appointments in Baulkham Hills he asked me to join him to do some Geocaching on the way there and back, turned out to be a very good day.
Strangely the published coords put us in a place where you had to walk on the garden bed to search quite contrary to the description, after a while we had to resort to PAF and were soon told that the coords were in fact wrong.
The right spot got us the cache, there is no need to leave the concrete to reach it and it does not interfere with the memorial.
The right spot is about 13 metres off the published coords.
Thanks for the neat cache.

One of 17 geocaches logged by rogerw3 and me today, while on a trip from the Blue Mountains down to Norwest Business Park in Baulkham Hills. I had a medical appointment and some tests scheduled and this was an excellent excuse for some geocaching on the way to the doctor and back home again. We started at 10:30am in Leura and it was 8pm when I finally dropped rogerw3 off at Lawson station, from where he had a still longer trip back up to Clwydd.
We couldn't see any way to approach GZ at this memorial without trampling the gardens. Yet the clue indicated that it couldn't really be attached to anything aluminium . . .
Finally we attempted a PAF and learned that GPSr signal here might be amiss. Directed to a more likely place -- one where you can search with both feet on the concrete path -- we quickly found the hide without doing any further damage. Of course, the geocache isn't positioned near the memorial itself.
All was in good order with the military-themed container. TNLNSL.
The coordinates attached are what we eventually came up with, for what they're worth, and are about 13 metres from where we initially searched.
Many thanks to Gibbo455 for another hide. Much appreciated.

Great spot and memorial. The GPSr had us in a strange spot so after a pretty wide search I resorted to paf, who provided the necessary realignment. Even so it took several tries before uncovering the fun little cache.

Arrived at this park to found muggles standing by their car eating their lunch, so I waited a few minutes before getting out and having a look around as to where one would hide a cache. GZ had me between the park and driveway, so I searched the general area and noticed that the muggles had left which made thing a lot easier and found the cache in the place nearest to GZ. I like the nice work on the cache. Well done Gibbo.

I arrived at GZ only to be pounced on (well not literally) by a local seeking a cigarette. Sorry no smoking here sir, and he was on his way. Shortly after i found another creative Gibbo cache at this great memorial park.

The coordinates are very good for this cache so it did not take too long to locate.

This spot has been a goldmine for caches over the years. Thanks once again for bringing me here.
#1457- After a quick trip to Penrith, we nicked out here to nab this one. Garks remembered being here once before and immediately thought he didn't have to look as he'd already found it. But I told him about the previous multi and that this was a different cache. The GPS, like others have, jumped around a bit, before bikerbuddy and NickoHeap, who had done this a few weeks ago, set us in the right direction. Then it was easy- I guess msot things are when you are pretty much told where it is. Thanks
I was going to do this cache earlier but the council workers were hosing down the concrete, so I came back later.
Once back, I parked the car nearby and made my way to GZ. With the bit of tree cover, the GPSr was struggling to get a good lock on the accuracy, so I had to guess on the best location for this cache. I has tried to look in a few spots which didn't offer anything. Again, I thought I'd better double check, and again, a more attention and focus on the search found me a nicely hidden and quick grab cache. And typical in Gibbo455 style. Well done. TFTC.

The only one me and urphymayes didn't find on our late night raid (11/12 ain't bad but). GZ kept bouncing around and in the dark this threw us off, making us unsure of where to focus our search efforts. With battery life dying on our would-be torches this search was at last called off for fear of being mistaken as a pair of youthful delinquents. Thanks for the search, will definitely have to have another attempt at this in the future.
Finally got back to this one...arrived a GZ to find some local children throwing a knife at a tree...really feeling unsafe with our Geogirls...wanted a quick find so PAF & got out of here...T4TS

Fund with dad after going to the camping show in Penrith with grandad and my auntie and her family.
NickoHeap and I had been with some of the family at the Penrith Camping Expo, so we headed out to find this one before returning home in the afternoon. Of course, when we got there, two girls parked their car right next to where we were and went a short way off to do some step exercises.
I remember doing a multi here earlier on. I see it's gone, now.
Day 117 in my continuing streak, although it may be my last day. Thanks

We had the GPS bouncing around until we thought about where we would hide it so the garden would not get too damaged.
