Looked in all the obvious spots one might put a cache of this size but had no luck.
Looked all over the bridge but couldn't find anything. Read logs, changed approach but still nothing.
26/09/15. 7:52 AM. Cache #3035. Streak day #461.
3rd of 9 finds this morning - Berkeley Vale, Tumbi Umbi & Killarney Vale.
After finding "Tommy1", it was back to the lake again, and the rain started up but wasn't too heavy. A short walk from parking to GZ, and I was glad the bridge was muggle great this moment so I could search in peace. Spent a minute or so looking a bit too far north, so then went the other side and made the find.
Next find was "Take Cover!"; TFTC.

Drove down from #8, much too wet to walk. Thought about sitting in the car for a while but what the heck, its only water. I walked down the path to the bridge and then the new bridge - very impressive! So wet no muggles in sight so I was able to do what was required to search for the cache and soon came up trumps. My hands were so wet it took longer to open the container than to find it. Eventual success, SL & replaced cache.
This is a nice spot, I could live here!

Dunno how I've never gotten around to this one. Fairly sure I did the whole trail a while back. Good hide. TFTC!!!
What do you do when Ausgrid turns off the power at home to "carry out essential upgrade or maintenance work on the local electricity network". You go caching, of course!! So after placing a new hide at Erina and doing checking on one other, I headed up to Killarney Vale to search for a few along the lake foreshore that I hadn't got to yet.
This was the first and it turned out to be quite a straightforward find since since the under side of this brand spanking new bridge is quite accessible. The only problem was that when I had cache in hand, the cupboard was bare ... there was no log inside to sign!! Luckily, I had a spare in the geo-mazda and was able to put it to good use, so there's no need for the CO to do a maintenance run in the immediate future. What's good too is that I also got double the exercise out of my 'good samaritan' act ... I had parked 300m away so I ended up walking 1.2km just to get this park'n'grab smiley ...
Thanks for the cache and the walk, ALL7, and for bringing me to a section of the lake I hadn't previously explored.

Spanking new bridge - lots of unspidered terrain, looked a while before eventually spotting something. In plain view - over the water, think it it is the cache as had similar beetle as some seen elsewhere along this trail. Attach pic which CO can delete. If so, no log and placement implies muggled and resited.
Put back where Phone told me GZ was or at least closer to it than where it was.
Surprised me to see the old bridge gone - we used to feed the ducks when i brought my sons to the daycare up the road. Great community-based childcare.

A visit from Victoria for a high school reunion (TEHS) and time to find some caches in the area. Mrs grew up just around the corner in Yimbala street and this was her escape spot (from her 3 siblings, parents and life in general - not necessarily in that order). She spent many, many hours here reading and relaxing and listening to the wind in the Sheoaks - pre-bridge days. Now there are many, many muggles who use it for other types of activities. Have to admit it spoils it a bit. TFTC and a chance to revisit a much loved spot.
Was passing though the area with time enough for a quick detour...was thrown at first, looking toward the old bridge but my GPS shouting "other way!!" - I trusted the GPS and later found the log mentioning the change of location! Anyway, once in the right spot this was a simple find, although it almost crapped myself when someone rode their bike over the bridge while I was under! Thanks for another good hide along the lake front ALL7, they never fail to hit the mark
As a kid (50 years ago), I used to live on the other side of this creek, so it was with a lot of nostalgia that I drove to the area and then approached GZ.
How things have changed! Where did all these houses come from?? And there was no bridge anywhere along the creek then. To see our neighbours across the way, we'd jump into the tinnie or canoe!
Anyway, enough of that. Arriving at GZ, there were a couple of kids fishing. Hope they do better than I ever did!! They didn't take much notice of me, so I was able to have a quick look under the structure and I spied the cache quickly. TNLNSL TFTC
Thanks for bringing me back to my childhood, Heather. So many memories..........

Another lovely location right next to the lake. Found quickly with the hint. Then just stood there and watched the water TFTC

Im very sad about Old bridge go Closed Down Move to Big Beautiful Brand New Bridge.. The cache move to New Bridge to Hide... The cache Is happy now...LOL Thank you for help to me..
Enjoyed wander around this area, Accompany with Heather - found and signed the log. Thanks ALL7.
Just a wooden cover with nothing underneath. Perhaps the bridge work on the new bridge will soon be completed and a cache provided near this lovely spot again.
I went as close as I could to the new bridge over the creek. It looks like a big job and will be safer than the old arch bridge. I wonder what they will do with the old bridge, remove it I suppose. The cache is in a nice quiet area with only a few muggles walking and on bikes going past. An easy find. Signed log and replaced as found. Cache is in good dry condition. Thanks for this one, moving to the next one.
A quick find, I wonder what will happen to the old bridge once they build the new one? Thanks ALL7.
Log is wet and torn. Left a new piece for signing. Needs a clip lock bag for log to go in.
Won't be a stump for much longer. Log was very wet. Have put another piece of paper in to sign.
Great series which has brought me to sections of the lakes edge I didn't know existed, very scenic.
I will have to wait til my return from holidays before completing the series.

Nice easy find with the geodog. It was quite windy today and because the geodog is a longer haired dog he loves the wind! We went for a walk along the bike track, his hair blowing in the wind and a big grin on his face.
TFTC cheers

had a great day out with my geodaughters riding their bikes.found this one easily after a nice lunch of fish and chips. Thanks ALL7 TNLN SL
What a nightmare this was. Using my iPhone it kept taking me from one place to another, generally about 93m out. In the end I gave up and went to a logical place, and I say logical but not really pertinent to the hint.

Amazing! Millions of bike riders, then nothing for the whole while I was signing!
Love the bridge, look out as there is sure to be a Troll under that one...
Log is falling apart and needs replacing although not quite full.

The log has been damp/wet at some stage and is fragmented/ coming apart. No bag for log.
Although not full log needs replacing soon as convenient.
Thank you for the efforts you put in all over the coast, we are enjoying most but not all of them.

Catching up on logging after a long break. Been a while so I cannot remember seeing any issues with the cache . TFTC ALL7

This is one scary bridge. Looks like it will fall down one day soon? Anyway, it was such a nice spot we decided to have morning tea on the little wooden platform on the water. Lovely spot indeed. TFTC and showing us this special area. . . eatmorchikin & Stigglepot, Brisbane
I dig this ricketty old bridge. Found on a Father's Day cycle adventure with my son. Cache was hidden AOK, found in dry condition, log not in the best shape but signed and replaced everything. TFTC ALL7!
Found this one quickly and took it back to the car as the log was damp. 3 minutes in front of the vent with the heater on high will dry the dampest of logs. Signed and replaced, thanks.
Found cache totally exposed. Contents too wet and mushy to sign. Hid cache better than found. Needs attention asap. Thanks ALL7
Brother and sister-in-law took me for a drive down to The Entrance for the pelican feeding. We stopped at the various caches in this series. Quick find here. Will return in next few days to complete series.
We thought #7 was going to be a DNF but we kept looking and then suddenly the hint made sense. Tricky All7 and TFTC and the series. Now we get to ride back to #2.
Reperio at 1350.
Pulled up quite close to GZ...and although the coords weren't at anything in particular...there was one obvious place to start searching. Searched in a couple of spots before eventually making the find on the opposite side to where the coords are.

We liked the area which houses the cache as it is an area of family activities. The cache was found as it was described. TFTC
GeoWife01 and I took a visit to the Central Coast today, started at Chittaway Bay and progressed all the way around the lake to The Entrance. We had a most interesting and enjoyable morning collecting 14 finds, 3 DNF and 1 "thought we would check anyway".
Another great location for a cache!!

Found with Liz and Bruce on what was quite a good day for caching. The gps was a bit wonky under those trees but that hint was spot on. Thanks to ALL7 for the cache.
Having met up with Victorian cacher and friend Alansee we planned a big day out to do as many caches as possible. We started off ok but found some of the tricky hides too hard to find - this cache however was one we were able to find.
Thanks to ALL7.
Thanks to ALL7.
Has unfortunately 'fallen' to the same fate as others in the series. Found it on the ground. Signed log. TFTC.
Fairly high passing muggle activity. However was able to search extensively around (under) at GZ.
Despite looking like a goon to several passers by was unable to come up with the goods.
Definitely will return to complete the series. Thanks All7 for a great cache series.

We came down this morning to do the Chittaway Bay series by ALL7. This one was a quick find. Thanks ALL7.
After having a peek at the clue, Dad jumped down and crawled under and made the find.
This walking track brings back so many memories of when I was a lot younger.

There was a muggle fishing nearby but he paid no attention to us cachers as he was too busy making sure two pelicans didn't eat his bait. TFTC.
After a spot of shopping at Tuggerah and a great walk to the Stroll, Stroll, Stroll to End Cache we decided to start on the "The Entrance, Long Jetty and Chittaway Bay" in reverse order.
This second last one was our second one. LOL
While looking for the cache I discovered a few glowworms in the darkness (it was getting late in the day also and the sun was about to set).
This cache was our 700th find!!!
