Archiving to replace with a new cache

11-May-13
I was in the area this after noon so I went to have a look. The actual hiding spot has been removed (presumably by the local council), and nothing remains of the silver cache container. When I get some spear time, I will completely remake this cache, but for the time being I will leave the cache unarchived as a place-holder for a future cache.

03-May-13
Due to the type of cache container that i have used for this cache, I am having a little bit of trouble trying to get my hands on another one. I will return the cache to working order ASAP

DNF @ 15:25...

I was really pushed for time, but I could resist trying for this one as the previous DNFs had a relatively low number of finds!

Had a very short search for a silver bison, but turned up empty-handed...

TFTC anyway!

due to the reported damage to the current log, and the fact that i am unable to get down to this cache any time soon due to Year 12, I ask that near-future finders take and upload a photo as proof, or kindly replace the log for me. Thanks Smile

[:(!] While waiting for our geograndson to do his running for the State of Victoria at the VenuesWest WA Athletics Stadium, I ducked out to grab a couple of caches and this was one of them, on arrival at GZ I had the cache in hand in a matter of minutes, the log needs to be replaced because it is damp and falling apart.

Mrs Felix was out today to tidy up some of our Geo Map, when it was mentioned to Everlasting where I was headed she happily agreed to join me for the day. (Made some difficult finds a bit easier Wink that's for sure)

Well we didn't see George, but we did meet a nice lady and her Grand daughter as we parked the car.
Said hello to them briefly then headed off to make a swift find of the cache.

We had arranged to meet Baxter6024 to find a night cache in Koondoola. After we had found it we decided to head off to find 'Perry's Night Possum Run' as well, so we were on the way there when Baxter informed us of a newly published cache just around the corner.

Making this the first stop we made a quick find at GZ to claim a joint FTF with Baxter6024 at 2030hrs.

Thanks for the cache steve1269.

After doing two caches in Koondoola with Austrackers we decided to go on to the night cache Perry's Night Possum Run. On the way down the freeway I saw that this cache had recently been published so a quick detour on the way to the Possum run be arrived at GZ. Were a bit worried about having to find a bison tube in the dark but with four torches and a few GPS units Mrs Austrackers came up with the goods. It was a team effort so a joint ***FTF*** at 2030 hours. TFTC steve1269.
