Was scratching my head for a bit, wandering around for a while, and then I spotted the hint, yes very good, cheers
no luck here and we spent 20 mins or more searching ! Today we decided to take a journey out to Mosgeil and walk along the Silver stream walk way and then do the Labs and trads and some other multis in the area . We had a successful day on the hole and the highlight being invited into the C O's house for a cup of tea etc many thanks for that we took nothing and left nothing here at any of these caches in this area . thank you for these caches and the maintenance of them .
Down in Dunedin for the Mega this weekend with McJandals and NZFLOSSY. Signed the log sheet MDF Thanks for the cache.
Down in Dunedin for the Mega event. Travelling with Davidsonclan and McJandals. Really fun to be out and about with the team and catching up with other cachers friends m everywhere. Thanks to all the organisers and all the COs for some great caches. It is certainly a lovely area of New Zealand TFTC
Down here for the Dunedin Geo Toroa Event from the sunny Bay of Plenty,Tauranga and are with some of Team BoP. Great to get together with our fellow cachers. Signed Logs MDF. (McJandals,Davidson clan & NZ Flossy)I am logging using the Cachly App and using their template option which helps with my memory for logging. I genuinely thank every CO for their time and effort put into these caches. Much appreciated.
Replaced the stolen micro. Still a black cache with some recycled paper if the numbys carry a pen. TFTC
This cache made more sense the closer we got to the GZ. Had an ah ha moment when I spotted the hint and made a quick find. The black bison had no split ring so it took some effort to pluck it from the hide. 2xRITR logslips dry and ok, the cache got returned to the spot once some duff was added to hide making a noice nest. Thankyou for setting this cache up Drawp.
A sunny Sunday for a family bike ride along the Silverstream. Found several caterpillars hanging out on the tree trunks while hunting for this one. Thanks for the cache.
We found this on our stroll along the Silverstream in the weak winter sunshine. The clue was most helpful in locating it. TFTC
Back for another look today, with MrMagoo72. Aha - there it is ... but I struggled a little to reach it with my fingers. Finally I managed to tweek it out of its hiding place, signed the log and returned as found. Glad to have a smiley face here this time. TFTC.
Back today to have another search for this one with MacBayMeri and glad we were able to find it this time. Nicely hidden. TFTC.
Found the hint item, but MrMagoo72 and I weren't able to locate the cache today despite spending a bit of time looking in some promising places. We'll have to come back another day to try and locate it.
I spent the whole day here today and found a lot of interesting caches. The cache hid very well Greetings from the Czech Republic and Thanks For This Cache.

As the AO tennis had finished I was a little lost for something to do after dinner so I assembled my bike and went for an evening cyclocache ride before it got dark. There were this small series of caches along Silverstream so they formed an obvious target. Found No8 easy enough, but after 10 mins of searching knot the cache .
Found the hint after the cache and can't believe we couldn't spot that! Nice hide thanks!
Took far too long to find “No. 8”. Found the cache first and then saw the No. 8 next to it TFTC! Found with AyDelay
Had a magpie dive bombing me every few seconds and got bloody close to hitting me. Beware!!! Tftc
Cache 1099 Final day of my little “hidden dates” caching holiday just a few left to gather up on my way home plus maybe one or two extras, then it’s back home to Invercargill. This cache was just to avenge the DNF I got last time, quick find this time wahoo cache in good condition T4TC
I had some time to fill in before my flight back home this morning. I filled this up by going for a walk along the Silver Stream and exploring a few areas of Mosgiel I haven't visited before. Found it much quicker than I was expecting.

There were a few suspecting knot holes around GZ but after only one circle spotted a likely hide and yes signed log
Replaced as found. Thanks Dwarp for putting out these caches. Lovely day for walk along here

We parked in the big carpark and found a couple of caches each side. All ok here thanks drawp
Got it. All good here. Quiet day today but still had to go for a wee walk and grab a couple of caches with gdkja before heading home tomorrow. Tftc
Found the 8 and searched every Knott I could see, luckily I had with me the last finder of the cache and when I came up with nothing she checked where she saw it last and could not find it either, might pay the CO to check one day on their way past if they have time, hopefully I’m just cache blind will try again another day
After an overnight stay at the Brighton Domain catching up with fellow travellers, off on a trip back to caching around Mosgiel and along the way.
A few trees in the vicinity of GZ and a lot of knots! Checked the hint... hmm think I figured what it was and yep a look in the close area found the well hidden cache tftc

This was one of those occasions where changing the approach made all the difference. I had a fairly certain idea where to look (just knott which one) and what the hint item would be - on the way out that didn't help whatsoever and the number of options without the hint was a bit overwhelming. On the return, spotted the hint I thought I was looking for and bingo! TFTC #367
It was third time lucky for this cache today. Previous visits had to be cut short due to a very territorial magpie on my first visit and a work gang giving the trees a much needed pruning on my second. Once the occasional dog walkers were safely out of the way I was able to concentrate on looking for that elusive smiley face. Spotted the hint object which confirmed I was in the right place, and was soon adding my name to the log. TFTC
Needed to get out and go caching as its a lovely day. Decided to see if Eve07 was free and we headed out to sunny Siverstream and enjoyed walking around finding some new caches and avenging some of the blue faces.
Almost left as a blue face due to the light but walking around in different directions meant I spotted the cache.
======== NZ Mega 2020 ========
NZ Mega 2020 is definitely happening, but has been postponed until 2021. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 22 to 25 October 2021. It's going to be a massive celebration of geocaching:
20+ years of geocaching worldwide.
20+ years since New Zealand had the very first geocache hidden outside of USA.
All the 20s and now 21 as well!
Talk to your geo-friends and start planning to be part of this event - you won't want to miss it!

After just finding the last cache I went to walk on to the next one.. which was this one.... looked up and saw a fantail which lead me right to where I had to go. Stood back for a second thought about the hint and boom my number 300 cache was hot in my hand! Pretty happy about it and really loved this one - gets a fav from me- TFTC
Came back today to turn my frown into a smiley. Took a bit of time as I thought I knew where it would be from my previous search. Alas, I was wrong but soon had the new log in hand.

Spotted the No 8 and the cache was located soon after. Beautiful walkway along here and lots of new buildings going on. Many thanks for this cache
A quick easy find on a walk to the playground along the Silverstream walkway. Grandad said he and Grandma took much longer to find it. TFTC
Enjoyed this one, which had us going for a while. The hint wasn't at all helpful until after we found it, then the usual duh moment. Thanks drawp.
Down in dunnas for a few days ca (t)Ching up with kjr.

Looked like this was going to be a tricky one to find, with lots of potential hiding spots. But luckily my wife spotted the cache fairly quickly.
Thanks.
