As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been longer than 28 days since the last reviewer note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 28 days), just contact us (by email) once the cache is in place, and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

The Stirling City Council have made new rules for their Bushland, Coastal Dunes, Wetlands areas and includes any other area affected by dieback within the boundaries of the council local government area. These new rules can be found at https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/Western+Australia and will affect already published caches within the council area.

This cache listing has been identified as being one of the approximately 85 existing caches that are located in one of the areas identified by the new rules and must be checked so is being temporarily disabled until the status of the cache is determined as complying or non complying with these new rules.

If this listing complies with the new rules then it can be enabled again but a note must be placed on the cache stating that the cache complies with the rules.

If it is determined that this cache does not comply then the owner is requested to remove the cache for the existing location and archive the listing.

If you wish to replace the cache at some other location within the Stirling City Council Local Government area that does comply with the new rules please submit a new cache listing for the new location.

Found @ 15:20!

Find #1 today. Only planned to find one cache today, but I ended up going for this one instead of another I had planned in the opposite direction!

The walk here seemed quite long at the time so I continued onwards to find four additional caches (so I didn't have to do the walk again)!

A quick find that brought a smile to my face and a nice start to this unplanned caching run!

O-ring had perished, but this shouldn't challenge the integrity of the cache.

TFTC!

Despite having driven right by these caches many times, I had not attempted any of them before
as I wanted to do them all by Geobike as the name of the series suggests.

I was merrily cycling along the footpath and was well past the cache before i realised it
was on the opposite side of the Highway, so had to double back to the nearest bridge.

Once at GZ, there were lots of hiding options, but fortunately chose right first time.

Thanks for this instalment of the series, looking forward to the next... !!!

Could not spot this one

My first one on my morning run. It took a little bit of searching. After I exhausted all the false trails I came back to this one and wondered how I missed it in the first place. I still had some time before starting work so it was onto the next one.

Bummer, the nice new bike path ended, and this one looks like it has been here for a while. I parked the bike along the fence, and followed the GPS through the bush to the cache, but later wished I'd taken the bike with me as a shady looking character walked past while I was signing the log and I was wondering if could outrun him to my bike...

Anyway, at GZ I spotted the hiding place after negotiating all the bushes in my bike shoes, and as I went to move the cache cover something large and alive ran out of the hiding spot! Eek, gave me quite a start!

But then I made a quick grab for the real cache. Thanks for the hunt blingg!

Today was supposed to be all about finding munzees as it's double points this weekend. So the bike rack was already on the geo cruiser and Mrs Felix was just counting down the minutes till the fun was to begin.

So after my surprise FTF at #5 I returned to this one as I had a quick look on the way to #5 but didn't initially see the cache and being so close to the road decided it was likely to have already been found anyway.

So on my return I rechecked my GZ and it didn't take too long to find the cache. Not sure why I didn't find it the first time.

Now this was a complete surprise **FTF** at 11.56am. Some 2 1/2 hours after publication - Completely unheard of.

When these caches were released, two of my bikes and I were at the bike shop so it was definitely not going to be a chase to these. Always great to have new caches in the area. I'm not convinced about this stretch of paths; seems to take me too long to find where the path criss crosses the highway. I was grateful for a quick find to start my hour of caching in fairly hit and miss weather. I really enjoy this style of micro. Thanks for the cache.
