There has been no response to a previous needs maintenance log.
Apart from 1-2 dishonest/mistaken logs, it looks like there hasn't been a container here for almost half a year.

Well and truly gone, easy find for hiding spot and clearly someone has taken this. Places 6 years ago so should probably be removed from app now as lots of DNF
Found where it would have been but has probably been muggled.
CO please replace.

Not our lucky day it seems.
Looked at bases of tall trees, excellent houding places but no cache for us

Day 1 of our Easter raid East and were finally out collecting some points for the Planetary Pursuit.
An easy find but not at the back of the tree as we wouldve expected - instead it was found at the front of the tree and exposed to the oblivious muggles nearby. It was however protected by a bunch of bees attracted to the tree sap, which could explain why it wasnt put back properly. We have zoomed passed Jupiter and are nearly at Saturn so double Thanks for the cache

Stopped off for this before leaving Hamner Sprngs. There were a few wasps buzzing around the cache, going in and out of the tree, so care is needed retrieving and replacing it. Thank-you 1eyednbf for placing this cache for our enjoyment. Out caching with Will of the Wisp on our “Round the World in 80 Days” trip to celebrate retirement. Signing logs with our names or initials depending on space. Greetings from England, TFTC.
I suspect this cache has moved house. Unfortunately it has moved it with some bees so bee careful retrieving the cache. Also there is no writing device in the cache.

#531. Greetings from Wellington. Our last morning in Hanmer Springs, so time for a few caches before we leave. This was a nice easy park and grab. Tftc 1eyednbf.
Arrived in Hanmer Springs this afternoon and settled in at the campsite before an evening caching walk.
A nice easy find.

Thanks some children getting dropped off for what looked like a school holiday football camp.
#5219. The family are on holiday in the South Island. Driving today from Blenheim to Hanmer Springs. So many caches along this road but I am on strict rations as family are not happy with a stop-start trip. Was planning on picking up several over Lewis Pass but the rain started sheeting down in Springs Junction and only stopped for short time. It eased back at Hanmer Springs in evening so headed out to grab a few caches. This was not far from where we were staying. Wandered over to the trees and saw a likely hiding spot but it was empty. Checked neighbouring trees and nothing there. Was walking back to first spot when I found a container sitting out in the open. Yep it was the cache. Must have been found by muggles. Signed the log sheet and tucked cache back into best of the hollows nearby and placed natural camo over the entrance. Thanks for hiding it here 1eyednbf.
This was definitely a exercise cache for me today .my phone would not settle down so on the end I just looked in all the likely places I could see and eventually I gained a smiley. Cheers
After getting groceries, a drive along the road to visit another waypoint for the Vinyl Record puzzle in person.
We walked out from the town centre and soon got here. There were lots of places a cache could be hidden but it only took a couple of minutes to find it.
Continuing to explore Hanmer Springs brought us to this quiet park. A few places to look but soon found
Mmm. Looks like it has been sabotaged. Only a black painted lid sitting on ground. Lovely spot, none the less
A wet cold Saturday in Hanmer, no one else around. Found with help of grandchildren. TFTC
Found, lucky it was a nice day as someone had pulled it all out and left it strewn on the ground. All put away and tucked back safe and sound. TFTC!
Day #2 of our weekend away in Hanmer, and after a lovely day yesterday, the weather had deteriorated. It was quite chilly and drizzled off and on, and by mid morning, we had enough and headed back to Chch.
After walking around the hospital and doing the multi there, the drizzle starte, so it was time to hop in the car and do some drive bys. All quiet here on a Sunday morning and quick find for StreetWalker, after first finding the lid of the previous container. TFTC.

#14403. No much recreation happening on a showery Sunday morning. Lack of muggles made for a quick find. TFTC.
Ugh putting my hand in places and feeling around is my least favourite thing about geocaching.
We looked for ages all around but couldn't find it. Thinking that the last person is correct in thinking it has been taken or moved.
Arrived at gz and had no luck. Searched wider and found container lid..muggles have struck unfortunately .
We are sure we looked here before. An easy find lots of service personal staying in the grounds. TFTC
We were on our way from the Pines campground to the hot pools - thanks for the cache!
Staying in Hanmer Springs so collecting a few in the vicinity. Log all very mushy. But thanks for bringing us to this spot.
I cycled the St James yesterday with a bunch of mates, which left us in Hanmer to recuperate then head home today. But first I have my current project to work on - trying to get my calendar up to three. So I am out early this morning, about 7:00a.m. Only a few joggers about. I went off and found The Forgotten Path and then came over here - I'm working on my calendar project, trying to get my three-days up to four-days. Which I have with The Forgotten Path, but I may as well make it a five-day. So here I am. Found the cache readily enough but where's my pen?!? Dammit! Rule number one: Fail. So I grab the cache, walk into town asking everyone I meet if they have a pen (all two of them), find an open shop, borrow a pen, sign the log, back to GZ, restore the cache.
The cache is a narrow necked bottle, and the log bag is already showing narrow necked bottle syndrome damage. Narrow necked bottles do not make good cache containers. Back to the house to start packing.

After cycling Molesworth road from Blenheim to Hanmer Springs, naturally we have to find todays cache . Thank you for hiding this one in just the right spot!
Very busy here today as there was some car show on. Struck it lucky with a park close by and as we approached GZ there were some young girls looking as though they had just found it. Yes - nice to meet you Chloe and friends. The girls were keener to be caching than their parents patiently waiting to go and see the cars. So we had to part company and head in our different directions. TFTC # 10,189
Easy find thanks to the hint. Found with ChisL. TFTC Three very cute little junior geocachers came up as we were re-hiding the cache. They pulled it back out of it's hidey hole & I offered them my pen to sign the log. They were very enthusiastic & keen to find more. They'd obviously been caching before with their Mum.
We have a foreign exchange person over from New Caledonia for this week, and the school holidays are still on so it's only reasonable to show our visitor, Laetitia, some of the sights and sites around our back-yard, and beyond. So it was decided that we would stay in the work 'bach' at Hanmer Springs for a couple of nights and recent road closures etc meant that the trip from Murchison to Hanmer along the alternate route would take us past some previously untraveled roads and therefore afford us even more scenic experiences, and a few caches of course.
Day 2 was less of a caching day and we spent the majority of the day at the Hot Pools and doing touristy things. We got a return visit pass for the pools and so split the wallowing around into 2 sessions which enabled us to partake in a terrifying 4 person bike thing 'ride' (teenagers and steering/road awareness/ pedalling!!) After a break we headed back for more wallowing , but first a trip to this cache. It was disabled when I visited and stayed real close by last year but back in place for today. Gathered the info for Vinyl Record puzzle cache nearby too, ah I see the connection.
All good here and replaced as found

Find #96 on Team Walker's epic adventure from Blenheim to Bluff and back. The final leg today. A quick find on the way out of town. TFTC
