attempted on our yorke to york trip. (top of Yorke Peninsula, South Australia to tip of Cape Yorke, Queensland )
uhmm, had just started to look around the boat ramp area when we were approached by a local asking if we were “ looking for that little thing, don’t worry it’s gone now”.
apparently the locals haven’t been happy with strangers coming to the area 24/7 and searching beyond the ramp gz area.
they have removed the cache.
after a chat we were in friendly enough terms, especially when i agreed to record concerns. ( it also helps to be a white haired old lady…..)
so…..
please do NOT search for the cache - it has been removed
please do NOT replace the cache - it is not welcome in this particular location
sent message to CO, hopefully the cache can be relocated

GPS wanted to put me in someone's garden. Used my caching senses and soon had cache in hand. Thank you.
Had a couple of casts until the sand flies started to feast then found the cache.
Sandyofthesea and I took off from Perth at the start of April to travel more of Australia using geocaching as a guide to see the sights. How good is this country!!
TropoBirdo, I found Boat Ramp Baffler today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

A quick find in a very beautiful area, as we pulled up for a break in the afternoon.
Not quite so easy to undo the container, but fortunately some pliers in the car were able to be put to good use.

Thanks TropoBirdo

Nice easy find on a spur of the moment day out.
Geokids found almost instantly!
Watch out for midges though, we got eaten alive!

Today Pa suggested we go for a drive up to Cape Tribulation, so I sneakily downloaded a couple of caches up that way. As we drove up the Mossman Daintree Road we saw a sign saying that the ferry was not operating for the next three days. Undeterred we travelled on to see if we couldn't find the cache near the ferry. It was a glorious sunny day and in the end we had lots of fun finding about 8 caches.

This was the last of the caches we intended to try for today and it was a quick easy find from a distance depending on where you stand. I just hope it doesn't engage the curiosity of others who may also see it. At first my pen didn't want to work, so I went back to the car and grabbed a different one. Now the log carries my initials, SG, which I often use in such small logs. TFTC TropoBirdo

Decently easy to find with the knowledge that it’s micro, still pretty sneaky though, found with BiC
Signed as GTK since it’s so small

A sneaky small boi, but a fun find. Lived in the area for a while kinda hard to imagine this has been here for the last few years without any knowledge of it. Found with GhostTownKat on 04/05/2022
On our New Year caching day and after a lovely crape lunch in Mossman we head down to find this cache. Such a quite location for the busy anglers. TFTC
Having found a few of these tricky ones in the past . We located this one quickly. Beautiful spot to be on holidays.
Thank you for bringing us here! Got sprayed wet but came to the right place and found it
Tricky little sucker missed it first time round. Thanks for showing us this spot. New log scroll added.
Very humid
today. Log book is full, so we’ve scribbled in s tiny blank spot. TFYC

Finally found it with a second careful look! A bit of peservering haha, bend your knees! No pen and the log book is finished so took a pic.
We're staying at Port Douglas this week and today I headed out of town for a bit of a drive in search of some local caches.
When I saw lots of DNFs on this one I thought I might have had problems here, but the cache was there, staring me in the face, in the very first place I looked, right where my phone's GPS said it would be ... so that gave me time to wander over and check out the beach ... much more attractive than the mud and mangroves on view at the boat ramp.
Thanks for the hide TropoBirdo.

Hmm, lots of long grass around...searched sign posts but was not successful this time
Unfortunately I don’t think this one is here anymore but since I just live down the road I’ll make a new one to put in the place it was and keep my eye on it )
Thanks TropoBirdo for the cache. It’s #1093 for us. We found your cache on 28 August 2019. Quick Park ‘n Grab and not a sandfly in sight!
After the DNF of Cooya Caper this eas an easy found.

Staying in Port Douglas for a few days. Now that we’ve located all nine caches there, we need to move further afield! Took a short drive up this way this afternoon and picked up three more. This one took a moment or two, as I started looking in the vegetation. Enlisted the help of Mrs tbird and she found it straightaway! Really not that difficult! #2640. TFTC. (No problem with sandflies at this time of the year, or at least today!).

Easy find - but took a while dodging mozzies and sandflies to sign and replace. TFTC
Sadly due to muggle activity I couldn't look for this cache properly. I'm heading to the Daintree and Cape Trib. Will try try again on return to Port Douglas
Just as well this was a quick find as I was beginning to get bitten as I completed the paper work. Greetings from Upper Hutt, New Zealand.
Didn’t have a pen (lost it at our last cache) but great find! Love these types of ones
There was a father and two young lads fishing on the boat ramp today but they were very busy doing what they were doing and took no notice of us at all. SL TFTC
It had fallen from its perch, so we put it back where we thought it should go. tftc!
Hey, we saw Cybercat and Mogasman here! Wait a minute, we ARE Cybercat and Mogasman! tftc!
Out caching while staying a few days in Port Douglas after spending Christmas with family in Cairns.
Find number #1696 for us and this is the furthest north we have cached in Australia.
