Like the last couple of logs... brand new bridge and surrounds so no real hope of locating the cache if the co-ord's are correct.
After lunching in the nearby pub I came over here and failed to find. The whole bridge and surrounds has had a makeover. Nice spot for a cache though!
No luck with this one, everything looks a bit new around the area, so maybe something has happened. Anyway, it was a no go for us....
Thanks anysay.....

Attempted during Day 2 of an epic caching weekend with specimenX and Sol de Lune.
As the others have said we spent a while crawling around looking with no luck. Next time !

Down from Canberra with fitzy_1965 and Sol de lune (signed as "FSS") to hit the Mt. Disappointment PT as well as a whole lot of other caches along the way! . Good weather, lots of laughs, a muddy Geo-Jeep and a massive haul of caches equals an epic weekend of caching all round!
Nope no joy for us at this one. As others have mentioned there has been recent work in the area. We all had a good look but could not come up with anything

I completed #1-#40 of the Dad's Mt. Disappointment Driving Lesson trail on the 8th of November, 2015, went back and (almost) completed the series. The weather was glorious, the tracks were try and the geotrails were well defined - everything was working in my favour for some quick power-trail type geocaching. I was able to utilise my time in the area effectively, heading into nearby Yea to complete an earthcache and make my find count for the day = 101! On my way to Yea, I'd worked out a few slight detours to get my find count for the day to where I wanted it to be, this was found on such detour. A sleepy bridge in a sleepy little town. Thanks for the cache Alansee.

After taking the least travelled route from Tunnel of Doom to this spot, we were hungry for lunch, but not before getting the cache. A quick find and then off to the picnic area for a well-deserved nosh. Thanks for the hide and bringing us to this peaceful place. Dropped a TB.
After grabbing a few caches out in the hills today we had earned a well earned break for lunch and this little reserve suited us well with plenty of space for the kids to run around and a quiet table or two for us to set up lunch and and relax for a while. The cache was found not too far away after a short search, thanks Alansee for the cache and for showing us a little of this area.
Had a lovely morning out exploring the kinglake region and was passing by when Master D declared he needed to go to the loo ... Bonus! There is a cache nearby! Found the cache pretty quickly but unfortunately couldn't find the toilet, it was completely missing form it's co-ords!! TFTC (ps, Loos at the pub are good!!)
Visiting a friend who lives up this road to check out a trailer. Didn't grab the trailer, but went for a cache instead.

I'm a bit late logging this cache....well, very late really! I noticed that this cache has been archived after it disappeared following the construction of a new bridge, which is a shame as it was a good hide and a great location.
Anyway, kmace and I were on our way to Melbourne's 1st cache to celebrate kmace's 3000th cache find. kmace wanted to find some isolated caches for a NZ challenge she is doing and this cache fitted the bill.
We parked nearby and wandered over to GZ. We were lucky to find the cache quickly as it would have been a lot harder if it had been a wet day. We signed the log at 4:20 pm and then continued on our way to Melbourne's 1st. TNLN.
Thanks Alansee for the well-hidden cache. I'm very sorry the cache has been archived as it was a lovely location that that I never would have come to if it wasn't for geocaching.

Found this one as part of a day heading out to Melbourne 's 1st cache for my 3000th cache find.
I was caching with ladioactive today and was also looking for isolated caches and this was the most isolated cache that I found today. This was a quick find but not necessarily easy today. I was glad that it wasn't raining as that would have made it harder. We signed the log and continued on.
Thanks for the cache Alansee.

A quick and easy find as we head home after a day of caching. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Accurate coordinates led to a quick find of this cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Alansee for the cache.
While staying in Frankston with our Geodaughter 'Karopi' waiting for the Melbourne Mega we took her to 'Melbourne's First' cache intending to have lunch at the Kinglake Pub on the way
However the Pub was shut due to a 'Planned Power Outage' of several hours (which we hadn't 'planned' for) but we did manage to find a 'powered' Bakery nearby and as we sat on their deck enjoying our lunch we experienced the biggest and severest hail storm we have ever seen
After leaving the bakery driving on the roads after the recent storm was like driving on ice
But we did earn a smiley here, so many thanks for the hide Alansee[^]

Our first for the day on our way to collect Melbourne's 1st. I really love a small country town and would have loved to stop at the pub for beverage but way to early for that. We made a quick find then got the kids to pose for a few photos.
Thanks for the cache Alansee.
Thanks for the cache Alansee.
Found a few caches with rusty0316 today, but not this one. A great day with a picnic lunch and exploring the area in which rusty0316 was, when much younger.
Will have to search for this again on another day.

Manzie and I were travelling home from Eildon after a fun weekend of caching and 4WDing and decided a quick detour was in order to cross this cache off our to-do list. Mission accomplished! Once we parked near GZ manzie and I headed in separate directions at the bridge. Manzie was the winner on this occasion—he quickly had the cache in hand, and after signing the log, I briefly paused to admire the pretty little spot tucked away here before heading back home to reality. TFTC!
Found whilst travelling through the area for work. Nice cache tucked away in a nice spot tucked away from the highway. Tftc
This spot is a special one for me that we call "the takeout". Fellow kayakers would know this terminology! I once paddled this river from Silver creek rd bridge down to here. Though the creek had a lot more water in it that day. TFTC.
Pub meal and caching, double win! Actually never knew this little park area existed. Lots of lizards out. Tftc.
I decided to take the 'scenic route' to the north-east for tomorrow's bushwalk (not to mention a spot of caching ). This was the first of the weekend's bunch and was a nice quick find at 11:30 once Upoj finally decided which side I needed to be on.
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks Alansee.

Found with sharkiefan and LouiseAnn after attending the Lake Eildon event.
After attending the event we had time to look for some more caches on our way home. I found a total of 15 caches today.
The cache was quickly located and we got our names signed into the log before we were off to the next location.
Thanks for the cache Alansee and thanks for the chat at the event

Found with LouiseAnn and Ostara74 on our way back to Melbourne after the event in Acheron. Nice to see a familiar name as CO. Tftc
A bit of dodgy navigating and we arrived at the cache. We hunted for a while and in the process discovered a MASSIVE hole in the ground at the base of the bridge. Seem pretty structurally unsound to me. Not long after, we picked this cache up at 5:40pm.
After attending the Lake Eildon GeoTour First to Find draw, Ostara74, sharkiefan and I headed back towards Melbourne, caching along the way. Thanks for the cache Alansee.

Lovely area. Enjoyed driving from Whittlesea to Flowerdale. Had to wait for three muggles on horses to make their way past. Nicely hidden cache.

Got to see an echidna up close while looking for this cache Was a bit worried about long grass with kids and snakes
Love the live band and the sound of water. On the way home through Flowerdale.
on our way home from Whittlesea market, very quiet at the cache so an easy find and sign. thanks
We pass along the highway often, but have never been down this side road. What a pretty spot. The cows had calves, and they all lined the fence to watch us. Thanks for bringing us here Alansee

Awesome location with great family facilities. BBQ and toilets. Never knew it was here thank you for showing me.
#163 - a cow was making quite the show scratching on the fence near the cache! Great little spot, Tftc.

We were on a mission to get Melbourne's oldest cache, and picking up a few along the way, we stopped in for this one, thanks for the cache and showing us this cool area and bridge.
Lovely park nearby. This one completes a full circuit today for the clan. Time to return to PC to pick up the junior clan member.
On our way to the snow and needed another pit stop, so way not find a cache. It is wonderful how well the surrounding district has recovered from the fires. Thanks for bringing us here.
We have driven past Flowerdale many times but never stopped before. It is good to see the town has rebuilt as it is a beautiful spot. We headed along the road and found GZ to be at a lovely spot. Mrs V decided to get this one and was thinking twice on her decision as there were lots of cobwebs at GZ. We a stick nearby the spot was clear and the cache was able to be grabbed. The creek was flowing adding to the lovely spot. The area is recovering which is great to see. TFTC.

I must be old-school because I start looking around when the GPS shows less than 10 m. I still remember the times when any coord a less than 15m off where considered good. This one is placed very reasonable so I agree; if you expect perfect coords you are delusional.
Thanks and Cheers

On our way to Healesville for the day from Kilmore, why not do a little caching to break the long drive and what a great spot to find. Drop in about 0915hrs, was able to 4 y/o Geoson a run around. Lovely Spot! TFTC!
What a pretty little spot for a cache! Jr Fish had no trouble retrieving this one for msmarple1 and I.
Greetings from Vancouver, Canada! Thank you for the cache.

My thanks to Ronlit for politely correcting me about Flowerdale. Cache description has been amended accordingly.
Nice, easy cache. Thx.
Just for the record, our town (Flowerdale) didn't essentially escape the fires. It all but disappeared. The good news is it's slowly getting back together

A quiet little spot and should have been an easy find, but cars were coming from all directions and I had to wait a while. Thanks Alansee.
Lovely spot for lunch on the way back to melb after a 5 day trip left Aussie flag tatoo. Took travel bug TFTH
This was my second stop on my way to Avenel this morning. Like several people before me, my GPSr was dragging me to the wrong side of things so it took a little while before I eventually found the cache. Once found, it was log signed and back on my way.
Thanks Alansee for this cache beside the King Parrot Creek. Not exactly a "drive by" but close enough to the main road to make it a quick stop.
NB I didn't see the Trackable that is listed as being here.

On my way to the high country for the long weekend, stopped in here for a quick break and to grab a cache. dropped in 2x travelers. Its good to be out of the rat race for a while. Thanks.
Was over to visit my mum on her 97th birthday but still wanted to find a few caches so decided to have some quality time with her by bring her along for some nice drive-by's.

I've never actually bothered to stop at the Flowerdale hotel the many times I've come past here - Perhaps one day I should. It certainly looks nice and the centre of the community here, frequented by so many 4wds and motorbikes on a good day like today. But we were here on caching business today and with a deadline, so no time to stop for more than a quick find.
A nice easy find, which might have even given us time for a coffee, but rather we headed off to the next cache. TFTC Alansee. Flowerdale is slowly coming back to life with new buildings, new paths, new infrastructure, and now a new cache.

Out for a 4x4 and camping weekend Saza22 and I decided to pick up some caches enroute.

Whilst out preparing for a car rally a few weeks ago I ran into alansee at a cache nearby Alexandra and he mentioned that he had place a few caches that day and now I was able to find one of them. (I had a trailer full of gear for a car rally this weekend so didn't attempt the others!!!!) Anyway, took a chance driving down the narrow dirt road to get to GZ for this one but fortunately there was a good turning area right at GZ which was greatly appreciated!!!! Found the cache quickly in the obvious spot with fortunately not a muggle to be seen. Thanks to alansee for this one, a nice spot to stop with the pretty river and good spot for BBQ nearby
Found at 2.50pm, Its amazing how busy such a peaceful country area gets,
I had to wait for a campervan to finish their afternoon tea, wait while some kids walked past, wait even further while some fisherfolk walked out of view, Timed my approach amongst numerous passing vehicles.
After just replacing the cache, a car with dogs stopped and piled out, eagerly awaiting their walk.
Lovely area.

On my way to Yea for a walk and tried to check this one out. Tom tom sent me all around which way which was not a good start. While amourving through some 1,000's of cyclists I finally parked and walked to this one. A car was parked right near by and man alone was enjoying himself. I went up and down although I did not think I needed to because of the grading. After 20 minutes of looking the man in the car had been having a lot more joy than I did.
Thanks Alansee, this looked like a great park to visit
