Logs
This cache has been getting to the hands of muggles many times, either items get stolen from it, get damaged or the entire cache gets destroyed. I'll let this one go, good fun while it lasted.

Good spot to hide it. Wasn't sure about the hint though.

1/06/13. 11:40 AM. Cache #655. Current streak: 265 days. 4th of 6 caches today for Yelyac & I around Jamisontown & Penrith. We continued on foot from Cacheabet I to this park, and started at the wrong set of trees before the iPhone redeemed itself and put us in the right spot. The cache was on the ground, open, with no log in it. We made a makeshift log from a bit of paper from my wallet and signed that, putting the cache back properly. I also took a photo of the cache, open as we found it, which I can send on if required. TFTC }:)
Is the area for work. Took a late afternoon stroll and found a few caches on the way. TFTC
I needed a quick lunchtime find to keep my streak alive and this one seemed to fit the bill. We parked close to GZ and soon had CIH. SL, TFTC Hoogies.
This was a straightforward hide in quite a pleasant open space, though it would have been nice to have had a bench nearby to sit and sign the log on. Thanks for the cache Hoogies.
That's what I like, a nice easy one that can be done in work clothes on my way back from a council appointment to the freeway! Thanks for the cache!
A quick find by a complaining teenage geo son. He squashed a snail in the process. TFTC

Hoogies is back!! Similar hide but new location. Cache is still a small sized cache, however, only a couple of geocoins would fit. Only very small swaps. Enjoy!

I'll need to re think this one, as the hiding spots now will not work. I'll be back soon with a cache for this. Stay tuned!
I'll walk up the street now, retrieve the cache, and see what I can do about it. Thanks for the heads up.
After the walk up the street, I couldn't even find the cache let alone any remnants or contents for the cache, I'll start on a new cache

A nice quick drive by and grab. The contents are pretty wet after recent rains. The log was ok. TFTC Hoogies
I got out of the car and got soaked in the sudden downpour. Almost didn't know what that wet stuff was after last weeks heat wave. Soon i was able to take shelter under some welcome trees. The cache was guardians were spied and I unearthed a well hidden cache. No log book and cachers are signing the paper but there doesn't seem to be any order. Thanks for not placing a cache outside a large industrial sized shopping centre.
Nice n easy for my 635th at 5:30am, nice n quiet too. Didn't need the cache for any streak, just have not got a smiley on this one. Now that is remedied

No division was required for this one, no complex maths at all really. Log paper is damp.
Cheers

This was the tenth find of fifteen today. I am visiting from Canberra for Christmas and today I went out Geocaching. Merry Christmas. TFTC.
Don't you hate it when you type out a good length log and your system then takes too long to decide to put it on the cache site and you have to start all over again.
On my way to Dan Murphy to replenish my wine supplies but as this cache was sort of on the way I had to call past.
I don't understand why some people have to destroy others property.
I would move over to the other group of trees and maybe use a 200ml container or a bison tube up among the leaves. The log would require changing sooner but if you live close by that would not be a problem.
Thanks Hoogies for placing this cache.

Found this fairly easily and also found that the log book had gone again! Quick ring to the CO and he was there in a flash! We just kept running into you today!
Unfortunately we found the log ripped to shreds and the container crushed so back to the drawing board for that. We signed the geocaching note.

Whoever is eyeing off this cache again only wants to destroy the log book. For now, I'll keep you signing the back of the cache note as a log. That has been there the entire time and is untouched by our log book bandit. I'll see what happens over the next week or two and see what changes I may need to make. I may need to moved it. I'll keep you posted. Hoogies.
Since pjmpjm had some appointments in Baulkham Hills he asked me to join him to do some Geocaching on the way there and back, turned out to be a very good day.
This was our last cache for the day, a quick walk to GZ trying to ignore the dogs on the other side of the fences. The cache was soon in hand. Again proving the value of the right colour coat of paint!
Thanks for the cache, a welcome sight at the end of a long day.

One of 17 geocaches logged by rogerw3 and me today, while on a trip from the Blue Mountains down to Baulkham Hills. I had a medical appointment and some eye tests scheduled, and this was an excellent excuse for some serious geocaching on the way to the doctor and back home again. We started out at 10:30am from Leura and it was 8pm when I finally dropped rogerw3 off at Lawson station, from where he had a still longer trip back up to Clwydd.
Anyhow, this was our final find of the day, achieved just at dusk, with a couple of dogs encouraging us from beyond the nearby fence. It wasn't too hard at all, as the CO indicates, but was another example of the effectiveness of an appropriate coat of camo paint.
All was in good order with both cache and contents. TNLNSL.
Many thanks to Hoogies!

I came back from Sydney after going to another job agency, My GPSr batteries were running low so I turned it on, selected and ran to the spot just as the GPSr switched off. TFTC.
It appears that other eyes are watching this cache at the moment. However, it appears those eyes only want the log book, everything else is basically as it was when I first placed this cache.
The new log book is now concealed in the small black container inside the cache. The log book is a name and date only. Please put the log book back in the container and randomly placed back in the cache.
Cache ready for next finder.

Quick find at dusk! Log book may have gone walkabout again???? Signed back of cache sheet. Thanks for the quick and easy cache.
Replacement log book has been put into the cache and returned to its original hide
I am glad I with Toriaz today and after looking and scabbling around Toriaz phoned the CO and then we found the well covered container with no log book, thanks Hoogies.
We found this one not to longer after J&J.au on Sunday morning and found it well hidden TNLN, thanks.
Quick find, early start, the dog barking just over the fence must drive people nuts. TFTC

I'm embarrassed to admit that I had to call Hoogies for help with finding this I one . But in my defense, the additional camo provided by the pile of fresh grass clippings dumped over the cache meant it was well buried.
The log book was missing from the container, so we signed the back of the cache note.
Thanks

Not sure what happened here. I found this cache with J+J.au and there was only grass clippings under a nearby tree not GZ and the log book was defiantly there as well. ??? Maybe you will need to watch this one... SLTN..TFTC
On our way to The Black Mountains we were stopped by snow and black ice. Instead we stopped here and found our first Australian geocache.

We decided to drop into Penrith on our way home from Parramatta. The WaywardWoman did a few donuts in front of the Hoogies mansion before she fishtailed it down the street for me to pick up this one. Thanks Josh
A nice quick find, geowife spotted the cache as we walked up to it and rehid it so it was no longer visable.
I made a quick detour to honk outside the Hoogies house then a park and grab.

Your absolutely right, sometimes this type of cache is just what is needed. For me it was a nice easy walk up to get my day started prior to my coffee.
Thanks Hoogies
Thanks Hoogies
Great little cache, just what I needed to round off my numbers for the month.
This is a very well stocked cache, I took the interesting trackable. We certainly do need a drop of rain, the poor parkland is looking very dry.

#1460- Well for me, the purpose of this one today was twofold. For me, it was to put a smiley on this day on the calendar, and having read Hoogies description, I thought that we wouldn't have too much trouble (but then again, sometimes the easy ones can surprise you). Secondly it was to keep the boys out of the house and away from computers for a little while longer. (Holidays are great, but teenagers love computers a little too much sometimes.) So thanks! A nice easy find- even Garks looked, in anticipation of getting home quicker!
I saw this one come up as I was at work, decided to snatch it up when I was finished. Not quite sure if I was FTF as I found other notes in book. Not to worry, picked TB. Thanx for another smiley Hoogies
Just to confirm. Bagoogle1, you are the FTF!!! Congrats!!
