Was out at CITO Event and came past with two other previous finders, but couldn't find it now. Will just keep looking for rubbish then.
Near the path. Was a bit soggy, could do with some extra protection. Nice easy walk
Found with friend while in Canberra today. The natural cam is now not so material. Cache owner may want to come have a look. Tftc.
Down in Canberra for the long weekend for a sporting event and also getting some geocaches as well. Was in the area so made a few stops along the way, including a very nice walk around Lake Burley Griffin. TFTH
I've been waiting for one of these to pop up in canberra. At last. Though I am a little disappointed it isn't real. Still lovely park pretty sunset and 3km to go to reach my car. Groan.
I need a pin-t of beer after this find. Alas forgot my pen! Very clever great work !
By bike today we went around the big lake in a western direction. We were able to collect many beautiful caches. Most were well maintained and good to find. Also the coords were very well designed.
Thanks to all the owners for laying and maintaining the containers.

Finalf29 and I had a fantastic three day holiday caching, bringing in the New Year, meeting up with old friends and making new ones.
This was my second for the day. AngelG27, Finalf29 and I had arrived early to set up the event when immediately two other caches (Darksidedan and Froggycacher) turned up...if you build it they will come! DSD had just found this cache but decided to come with F29, FC and I to watch us look for it. Didn't take too long to find, but in a very clever camo. Thanks

Well it appears DARKSIDEDAN has beaten me to all the puns on this one.
Well Happy Uke and I were in Canberra to show the locals how its done. We teamed up our favorate Canberra cacher, AngelG27, and we were off and running.
We did not waste any time pining up the wrong tree with this one. We went straight to the cone of the problem and decided to branch off to the next one.
Thanks!

I pined for the geocache and almost went nuts looking for it before the find.
12:35pm 31/12 - found with the early starters for the end of year bash. We searched a couple of trees before it was found (nice container), and took some rubbish out as well. TFTC mcktcj
Went for a walk with baby&Mrs gopher to look for your cache. I didn't quite have enough height to reach the container so baby got it for us. TFTC
5945. Found by baby&Mrs gopher in company with CastleKay today at 1350. After the meal for the end of 2016 event the 3 of us went for a walk along the walking track. A pleasant walk o gz and baby was able to grab the container for CastleKay. SL Tnx mcktcj
Second attempt at this having to drive past last time, and despite the great weather this time the area was free of muggles and was able to make an easy find. Great container. Thanks for the cache.
First day in Canberra with BettyBoo3747. We loaded up the deadly treadlies and rode around the western leg of Lake Burley Griffin, picking up occasional caches as we toured around.
I have a sneaking suspicion that this is a She-oak tree, and so the camo might not quite fit.
Nice cache though.
A nice ride around this peninsula too.
Thanks, Robmc.

#11200. Our first full day in Canberra so we loaded the bikes for a ride around the Western Loop of Lake Burley Griffin. Even though we started our ride at 8.00am Robmc and I were amazed at how many citizens were out riding and walking this morning. The lake was mirror smooth and the skies were blue, so maybe that was why. Or maybe this is a very health-conscious city! A nice little collection of 25 smilies added today and one DNF.
After spending some time sitting and getting rid of grass seeds from socks and body we spent time having lunch and enjoying the views across the lake to the library. Now we have continued on to this spot and fortunately didn't collect too many pesky seeds again. Having a good time riding around the lake today.
Thanks mcktcj

Yes, cache is sadly gone but a new container has been ordered, so watch this space! Will be back online as soon as it arrives.
As for the previous log, found the clip-seal bag and logbook at the base of a tree approx 10m east of gz. No sign of a container. Have cable-tied the logbook to a tree limb as a temporary measure to stop it from being misplaced pending attention from the co. Cache owner has been advised.
TFTC - nice hide with ashbash_ found it while mr-Aeiou looking for a premium cache nearby
I came for this to get the souvenir for find a cache with 10 favorite points. After a search at home I decided on this one and got the Mustang fired up for its first caching outing. A quick find once I got to the GZ. TFTC
Not sure about the comments of extraction tools being required. Great camo though!
Found on a beautiful day in Canberra. No tb in cache

We took The Woofer for a long run around LBG today. We had originally planned on only finding every second cache or so, but we just couldn't go past one without finding it! So 6 hours later we were done...with over 40 caches found! A great day out.
A nice easy find. TFTC!

Found the cache overturned - perhaps a bird was rooting for insects? Returned to proper location.
Great find! Had to scratch around with a stick to find it! We came back to look again and found it wondering how we missed it before!
Looked far too long for this one, searching too many other things and place. Persistence in the end paid off. TNLNSL TFT
Had to read some other logs to get some helpful clues, and eventually found it with the help of a stick haha. Definitely have to look well, good hide!
Found with dghoffy on our Canberra trip. A great time visiting the popular spots. Lots of muggles so lots of stealth required. TFTC. Now back to the campsite for T and a brew.
High muggle zone made this one tricky, so did looking for the wrong type of container. It's always guaranteed to take longer when someone says "let's just quickly do one more" Eventually found and granville86a and us signed and headed home for a well earned amber ale. Tftc
Boom! That's 700 finds for me. After a big start to the year I haven't found a cache in over a month, due in part to being without a phone and being locked in my bunker making a bunch of new cache containers. Well I got my phone back today and while I was with the kids at the nearby play equipment, I had my first test drive of the new app to see if there was a cache around here and this one came up.
I was here for the goodbye 2015 event but somehow missed picking up the caches around here.
Made the quick stroll over to GZ and had a few sweeps of the area with no joy. Then I had a read of the logs to get some clues and after changing the angle of my gaze quickly made the find. Cool, haven't seen one of those containers before.
Thanks for the cache mcktcj

I've sung by this one two times before but each time it was a DNA (did not attempt) due to muggles nearby.
Today the place was pretty much deserted! So off I went to start the search. After going round and round a couple of times and looking up and down, I decided I'd try the usual spot for a location such as this and there it was!
Signed log and replaced and I was on my way

Out for a friends birthday party and spotted a gap in the festivities to pick up a few finds. Found with Johnomawbs and Shary88. Took us a little bit of searching but eventually found it. TFTC
Awesome! A very clever hide.
Took us some time, but glad we persisted.
TFTC A fav pt from us

On a pre-work week, weekend visit to Canberra from Sydney. Had a great visit to the National Gallery this morning for the Tom Roberts exhibit.
Nice walk down to here and nice to see so many groups enjoying the facilities. Funny container. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek

I think I had been here previously without success. Today on a picnic I had time to nip across and soon had the cache in hand. Thanks!
Knowing that the trees are She-oaks, something didn't quite fit, but a really cute little hide, liked it a lot. Found on a loop walk of Acton and Black Mountain peninsula's. TFTC
TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.

'Found' after this evenings event along with a caching couple from Queensland. We arrived at GZ just as the Boeing737 crew found the cache. TFTC.

Discovered after this evenings event "Goodbye 2015" along with TikvaNZ. We arrived at GZ just as the Boeing737 crew was leaving. So nice of them to re-hide it well.
Found at 6:50pm on 31st December, 2015. TFTC.

After attending the nearby Goodbye 2015 event we sauntered down to attempt this.
The hint and prior logs were utilised to get us in roughly the right location and finally K was the one to find it first. Clever hide. TFTC.

Christmas Day away from home. Everything is closed but the wheather is very nice and Canberra has a lot to see outside. We discovered the carillon, the Parliament House, the Arboretum, and than this nice park. What a nice cache, just under our eyes.... A favorite for us. TFTC from Quebec, Canada!
Muggles: Just doing a bit of caching in Canberra, looking for "If the tree fits..." On Black Mountain Peninsula" and guess what we found? No, not a geocache, not a travel bug, but a couple in "flagrante delicto" ie bonking. I first thought the sound was pigeons or doves but I was proved wrong an copped an eyeful. sorry, no photos.
I should have asked them if they'd seen the cache as they were almost on top of it.
See, caching has something for everybody.
We'll come back when the muggles are gone.

Back agin. No energetic cooing couple. A relatively quick find after walking past it twice. Tftc
