Apologies for the late log, we have just come back from a 10 day holiday in SA and Western Vic and spent as much time with family as possible so no time for logging lolWe are on holidays in SA and have spent the past 4 days catching up with JMelbs family in Adelaide (and only found 2 caches during those 4 days!! Thats despite hunting for a few more lol) Today we checked out of our accommodation with the intention of finding some local caches then some of the Wandering Heroes caches on the way to Karoondah, our destination for the night. We had lunch at the Train Park at Tailem Bend and and then set off to do the Wandering Hero Caches now! This was next and was hidden in a very interesting way! TFTC honeysucker - GJMMelb
Found it! After a morning walk in Monarto and intending to spend the day in that area, a FTF hunt led me further east past Tailem Bend. After successfully grabbing the FTFs, I continued on to the endless Wandering Heroes series. Quick find here. TFTC!
Out and about caching today. Great day out in the countryside and thanks to CO for the placement of the cache. Cache found and log signed. TFTC
Spending several days in Tailem Bend to collect the 'Straya' Challenges, Ice Cream geoart, some of the Wandering heroes and quite a few interesting caches. Thanks to the many CO's who placed and maintain these caches - it is appreciated.
Find # 14157I'm in the Adelaide area for the Great Leap Forward event. Not just for the days event, but making it a week long trip of caching n catching up with mates.Flying solo......Day 8. Homeward-bound.Day started off with a tree climb and a big stretch off the ground. Then a bit of a look around Mt Barker. Then it was the trails. It's been a while since I've hit a long trail and being alone it was just me and the caches to fill the rest of the day in. Some power trails are tougher than others, ie parking locations and barriers can be annoying and chew up time. But happily I managed all hurdles. Even the odd orb spider that made some tracks mazes. Happily that what I'd pland out fell into place with only a couple of DNFs.End of day was a surprise with my biggest solo grab of over 300 in a day. But I have plenty more trails in SA to utilise if I want to better that score TFTC honeysucker
Im making my very slow journey back to Melbourne from Adelaide after the mega yesterday. This was one of the finds I collected today. Thank you honeysucker for placing and maintaining Wandering Heroes ... The Coffee's for us to find today.
A fitting tribute Victorians love him and we were all touched went his wife, Shelly was passed away fairly traumatic my for everyone.TFTC
One of a cluster of Wandering Heroes found today. This series is so huge that despite numerous previous nibbles, I doubt that Im even halfway there yet. All the history makes for interesting reading, sadly I am guessing that a lot of the theming on this oldest segment of the trail has been lost with maintenance over the years. A big thank you to the various COs who have contributed, and to those who have helped out with maintenance. Lets keep this series going.
Thought we could see it but tree down and really too hard to get to and we moved on.
Day 5 of tackling this series. Based on Murray Bridge. What a great section of this series. Enjoyed the day. Thank you to all the cachers who put these out for us to locate. Found 64 and 2 dnf today.
On a trip back to Victoria it was time to do some more if this trail

After a miserable start to the day (not a farmer), managed to find a few little caches on the backroads. TFTC
Caching with the JAMS crew finding Wandering Heroes caches. We ended up finding over 300 and hiding 2 more. We replaced a lot of containers that were broken. We had a few showers of rain early which were getting us wet but they didn't last too long and it ended up being a nice day. Thanks to all the cache owners for placing the caches.
Out with the JAMS crew JJ52, Mogni, Allister W and sir_spectre, plus TallBikeStan and BratKat on this run. The logs where stamped as Mystery Randoms. The target's today where the Wander Heros trail ( as far as we could get ) plus any other caches in the towns or close to the road and the nearby Lab cache in Karoonda. We got slowed down by the rain till almost lunch. No wildlife sighted, not even a kanagroo. We found over 300 + caches, some of us had found some of them before but we are aligning all of our maps to the same finds. We replaced over 40 wandering heroes caches we found broken, most logbooks where dry and put in the new cache. Any logsbooks found close to full had a scroll added to the cache and all broken caches we removed and put in the bin. By the end of the day we had over a garage bag full of broken caches.
After watching Giselle play netball up here, we thought let’s go geocaching. Found with superman_22 Giselle_12
On the way home after the.JLWE. great cache that won't suffer from the rain. Thanks for placing the cache for us to find.
Had to come out to Tailem Bend today, finished doing what I had to do early so thought I would do some geoing while I'm here TYFTC
This long weekend, I headed to the Limestone Coast / south-east to participate in the mini/unofficial Millicent GeoVenture2020 Mega weekend (Community Celebration event), as well as some cave diving in the morning to early afternoons. Saturday afternoon consisted of a trip around Tantanoola's pine forests, Sunday was more east around Mount Gambier and those pine forests, and then Monday was heading back spending some time in Dismal Swamp. A weekend of mixed weather with some nice afternoons, as well as continuous rain and drizzles (typical south-east weather?).
Today with my final day in the south-east, I commenced with a cave dive at Pines Cave, and then did some maintenance at Gouldens Sinkhole. I joined everyone at the Mount Gambier lunch event, and then started to head north, finding a few of *BEAR'S ODYSSEY* series and doing a walk around Dismal Swamp with the *Awaken and Live* series. It was then a direct drive to Naracoorte for the *Celebration Ends* event, and then driving back home via a few *Wandering Heroes* geocaches near Tailem Bend.
I decided to stop off at a few Wandering Heroes geocaches whilst grabbing one of my own to take home for some TLC/maintenance. It looks like this was a good cache back in the day, but the various pieces look a little aged now. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [@honeysucker](http://coord.info/PR296ZZ) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Found this and several of the WH series/PT as with most Pt trails the caches were all easy to find with a few short searches thrown. Had pleastand day out in the country before it started to warm up and I started getting hungry. TFTC & the series I still have a lot more wandering heros to find.
Day 174 (Thursday 20th) of our trip. Caching along the way. Left Millicent today. A total of 13 for the day and 3052 for the trip. TFTC
Thanks Honeysucker for this cache, and your contribution to the whole WH series. I was on a mission today to grab as many of these as I could. Logging most from home after returning, satisfied and exhausted.
A set of heated containers, even though few of them are complete, is keeping this one nice and safe.
Thanks for the cache honeysucker.

The Coffees cache takes spot number 1 in our 100 caches in a day quest today. Took us 7.5 hours with some hold up due to heavy rain. Got to give our name stamp a good run too. All good with this cache.
Found cache quickly. Did cache maintenance and will message CO with information. Log in great condition TYFTC SL
We had two hours of the afternoon left before sunset, and so we decided to search for a chunk of these Wandering Heroes caches before heading off to our campsite for the night. We enjoyed reading about the various geocachers, some of whose names we recognise as owners of caches we have found on our travels around Australia, and some whose names we recognise having seen them in log books around the country. Many thanks to the COs for having laid the trail and we hope we might be able to complete it on a future visit to Australia - maybe we might even get to meet some of the COs and the geocachers mentioned at the Clearwaters and St Arnaud 2019 Mega Events that we will be attending. This one was a nice quick find once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
We were heading out of Palmer today and just picked out a couple of caches on our way to our next destination with ilook4geo.
Then we started on a trail of caches placed in honour of Wandering Heroes of the geocaching game. Although some of the cache containers and logs were on good condition, there were also quite a few where the containers were badly damaged and no longer are weather or vermin proof. Some logs also need to be replaced as they are either full, wet or mouldy.
However, each found log had two more names added and all was put back as it had been found. Thanks go to the CO for their part in this trail of caches.

Moving on today and still caching with goingplaces2. Found quite a lot for the day and signed each log. The Wandering Heroes caches were sometimes a bit challenging to find and some needed a lot of maintenance. All was put back into place before we moved on. TFTC.
TFTC.We had made a detour along this trail to attempt the first seven as we looked back into Tailem Bend. Glad to at least make a start along this trail.
The lid to the cache container is broken so some maintenance is required.

On a spur of the moment trip to Tailem Bend to have a bit of caching fun.
Spent the day picking up caches in the area and surrounds and starting this great series which I will return one day to finish.
A great variety of cache containers were found in all sorts of ways.
Thanks honeysucker TFTC.

I had planned a big few days of caching in SA so I left work on a Tuesday evening and hit the road from Melbourne. This was my third full day of caching and the Wandering Heroes caches (and assorted others nearby) were on my target list. It was a blisteringly hot day (felt hotter than the 39C recorded on my car!) and the dry and dusty conditions made it hard going at times. My first task having left where I was staying overnight in Murray Bridge was to head to the Geopets series. Once I was done there I headed on to the Wandering Heroes and others along that route. Many took me longer than expected with different containers, hide styles and some further off the road. In the end I had to adjust my expectation of finds for the day before I headed north to where I was staying overnight. Thanks to honeysucker for this cache and to all COs for placing and maintaining this remarkable series. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Another familiar cacher (and their errant apostrophe!) local to me honoured at this one.
Having started the oz mega signal yester, I headed back down south with the intention of finishing it and making a start on the wandering heroes’ caches. It was perfect weather for a long day of caching, after a few caches the mojo was back and good progress was made. Stopping in Wellington for lunch (and more caches) it was off to Tailem Bend and a steady slog was made into the wandering heroes. Eventually, as the sun was setting it was time to call it a day and head home after an enjoyable day.

Stay at Murray Bridge for few days before heading to Adelaide from Melbourne to see my family and also a week break from work. Came here to do the Wandering Heroes caches for the day. Nice and found. TFTC!!
With the magical creatures souvenirs coming to an end soon, I decided I needed to grab a few more caches this weekend to knock most of them out. With a couple of events on not too far from some mostly untouched power trails, I made my way down to Murray Bridge, then spent the afternoon evening attacking the start of Wandering Heroes, as well as the start of the Popes series, along with a few others in between.
This was find number 13 of 72 for the day for me. TFTC honeysucker!

Found on a Saturday drive from the suburbs. It has been a few years since we explored this area, thanks for another reason to visit!
Having a break in Mt Barker for a few days. Spent the day caching with my Daughter crash1970. SL TFTC
Yesterday I was making my way from Mansfield to Adelaide. I was racing over there and on my way back I dropped in to tailem bend set up my tent on the footy field and woke up at 2 to some sprinkles and thought crap better pack up my tent as it almost got soaked! After an interesting experience at the tailed bend football oval I was awake and thought I’d do some quick caching before I made my way home. Easy find TFTC
I was on my way to Barmera, with a bit of time on my hands as planned lol, so I was going to find some interesting caches along the way and a few of the power trail caches. The rain stopped, which was a bonus. At some point I decided to stop only for the large ones, otherwise I would never make it to my destination for the night! TFTC!!
Found on a slight diversion while passing through Tailem Bend heading east today. Thanks Honeysucker for the cache.
Lovely day mission to do the Trail on MrPancakes birthday. Thank you for the cache
