Country caching day. ????????TftCDiscovering caches in REDHILL. Happy anniversary!
Got it. I only realised there was a muggle at the bowls club when I was signing the log.Our running mate is back from NZ and about to tackle the next 2800km to Darwin. Caching around Red Hill and Crystal Brook while he restarts his run.Aussie M & M, I found Copper or Wool - 7th Wedding Anniversary today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast and home again through the centre and the Nullarbor. We are on the home stretch now, just a few days in the Yorke to pick up a few caches. Thanks for the cache.
A good example of two heads being better than one, I tried the obvious spot but completely missed it. Luckily Bear049 decided to double check and cache was soon in hand. First one found in this series, looking forward to finding the rest.
Up this way for work.
Called in on this one on my way back home.
Nice cache and hide.

Today saintsno1 and Goldy ventured out for some caches out north to kill some free time, focusing on quality caches rather than quantity.
A total 28 finds for the day.
We started off heading towards Lochiel but the coppers had the road blocked due to oil spill so we ventured the back way towards Bute, then did a loop up and around from Crystal Brook to Spalding.
Took a minute of searching but the cache was soon found.
Cache retrieved and signed with stamp.
Thanks Aussie M & M for this cache.
This cache brings Goldy’s total find count to 1914 on the 29th of October 2022

A country drive with the muggle other half to collect a few in the mid north that the Adders missed out on when he could not join the weekly Wednesday wander.
All caches were in good condition unless noted otherwise.
A nice tricky little hide.
Thank you for the cache GOTHS, found 22/04/2022, 3:16:32 PM

It was time for a Wednesday wander.
A trio of Befuddled puzzlers met at the Rat's den, to go north.
The trio consisted of SA Sewer Rats, Brisal5 and Astro.
It was day filled with adventures, stories, laughter and caches.
We set off with a list of targeted caches.
Most of the targeted caches were found.
This was a a quick stop, find and stamp then on our way north and beyond. Tftc

Took off up north today and kidnapped a frog. Went hopping around some caches together.
He got one, I got 18... seemed fair. Let's do it all again soon
7 - quite an achievement, complete with seven year itch
Much thanks to Aussie M & M for placing and maintaining the cache on our map
Neat hide.

This cache was found and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or sometimes with just plain old dumb luck!

Stay safe when caching. Watch for snakes, random cliffs, wild goats, wombats, bulldust, and lightning,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins... but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]
Make sure Travel Bugs are the only ones you share and pass on
2020 turned into 2020won, and 2020too is on the way! 2020free should see us through
Still important to observe social distancing when possible, (150 nano caches apart should do it)
Still important to wash your hands (always has been really [:o)]
Still very important to look after each other and take precautions & get checked out for even the tiniest sniffle or cough, or unexpected headache! [8)] [B)]
Still even more important to get some fresh air and exercise while we can, so get out and cache the country!
Thanks so much to all those placing caches out and about away from the city crowds,
keeps our game safe and interesting
[:o)]

Stopped for a break in Red Hill to locate a few local caches. Thanks for the cache GOTHS!
A quick find while passing through Redhill today. Thanks Aussie M & M for the cache.
Day 445 ( Monday 16th) of our trip. Caching along the way, in Bute today. Out this afternoon to get a few around the area. TFTC
Checked this cache out today at Aussie Mark's old stamping grounds. Cache is all good and should be fine for at least a year or so.
gridge98 had asked about going caching in the lower north area today[?] and I sure wasn't going to say no[^]
There was heat, rain[^], thunder and lightning[^] and cache finds totalling 31 of which 1 was a event held at 11pm at night at Vili's Mile End[|)][xx(][|)] I was exhausted by this point[|)][xx(][|)] and so slept in the car until the 6am event to farewell Gwen[|)][^]
Some awesome sights seen[^], great back roads travelled (some more slippery than others especially after rain showers passed overhead) and Rex had a ball running some roads and chasing vermin out of cemeteries[^]
We saw lots of 'old schools or sites'[^], entered tiny townships and learned lots of history[^]

A quick find here cache is all good
Today locus cache and I headed north to clean up some caches we missed between Snowtown and Clare and the odd cache here and there. With limited time we managed to get 32 caches whilst dodging the rain.
Thanks for the cache

TFTC Wow! This took us a few minutes then WALLA, I had a flashbulb moment just as geo hubby said, “let’s give up on this one”. I soon located the little bugger then signed & dated the log. Phew! Perseverance certainly paid off. YAY And certainly a favourite
Out on a beautiful day with Shandyk and was lucky enough to have this as one of my finds for today. Signed log as GuSh. TFTC.

We had looked for this cache a few years ago but did not have any success. This afternoon we returned and almost immediately, noticed something interesting. Closer investigation revealed the cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks GOTHS for the cache and the series.
Nice hide spot. I am so glad as can reach phew! Lol. Signed the log as EV and thanks for the cache and hide
After thinking it had something to do with wood, I moved onto the second part of the cache name. Cleaver hide. Cigc. Tftc

Quiet day in Redhill so no muggle issues today with this one. Helpful clue and clever hide. Tftc.
My 2nd cache in Redhill. Not in the 1st place I looked but the sneaky hide was quickly in hand after that

slowly making my way back to adelaide from a long weekend holiday in whyalla. quick find.
On our way to Fitzgerald Bay on the other side of Spencer Gulf, we decided to stop at Redhill overnight. Parked up the van in the Rest stop and went wandering in town by torchlight...wow..its really quite here..after a short search we made the find and then headed back to the van for a nightcap! TFTC
Left early for a caching day with CPwanderer
A perfect day to be out & about caching

The courts were deserted here today, in fact the whole town seemed deserted. This allowed for a nice quick find on the well-hidden cache. We'll give this one a favourite for the hide.
Thanks GOTHS.
Thanks GOTHS.
**Out and about around en route to Perth**...
**Day 3** of my trip - *Nuriootpa to Ceduna*...
After staying in Nuri for a couple of nights, today saw me loaded up and heading to Ceduna before making my way over to W.A. Naturally I stopped to find a few caches along the way.
A pleasant enough day with the rain holding off. A nice quick find too.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment GOTHS.

One of our finds while touring Redhill. We must have looked quite odd towing a 19/6 off-road van around the township! A sneaky hide, but soon located on our 46th wedding anniversary as commemorated by our "Anniversary" cache on Hindmarsh Island.

Heading north again, so stopped by figuring that the muggles wouldn't be out here on Good Friday.
A quick find and sign, which makes it the last of the Anniversary Series. The 1st if which was found way back in Oct 2012!

This was the target cache for this town, after stopping off the freeway.
The place was swarming with green ball smackers on a Sat arvo, so more a DNL (did not look) than a DNF.
Went off and found the other 3 unfounds in town before coming back to GZ only to find nothing had changed despite it starting to rain!
Oh well, another excuse to stop in this quaint town next time up this way...

Out for a drive with muggle sister and of course had to stop for a few caches along the way. [^]
Stood back and surveyed GZ then found the cache in the first place I looked...happy about that.

Great cache, even though it was easy to find. Love the idea of caches for Wedding Anniversaries. We have already reached Gold this year and bought a gold ingot TB to celebrate. Maybe you will find it somewhere.
Got through the series a while back but this one was a bit too far. Driving passed so of course I detoured to retrieve. Great spot!

The biggest ant I have ever seen was guarding where we thought the cache was. eared up on its back legs when we approached.
If he wants it he can have it.

Found by The Noodler. An interesting hide. People from nearby talked to us, and had not heard of Geocaching. They were intrigued, and decided it would be a good thing to do when travelling. TNLN. TFTC.
Catching up on some very late logs.
Heading down from Port Pirie to Adelaide to visit a friend who is laid up in hospital we did manage to break the drive with a few cache stops along the way.
We pulled up and were surprised to see the colour of the tennis courts, we have only seen these on TV.
Thankfully the facilities were not in use today other wise it may have been impossible to search but today was a nice quick find in a likely location for a geocacher and out name is now in the log.
Many thanks to GOTHS for placing this cache.

Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring South Australia.
Staying in a 'Free Camp' we werent sure what the weather was going to hold for today. Turned out quite magical, with grey thunder clouds overhead but sunshine still shining through.
We visited the towns of Merriton, Redhill, Koolunga, Yacka and Gulnare also Threadgold's Crossing. A busy day and lots of fun exploring, but with sadly 4 DNF's.
Thanks for helping us tour this region by visiting your cache GOTHS

found in the company of goingtheredoingthat and limbage on a satday caching expedition that took us out to Koolunga and Redhill .. thanks for the hunt , Goths.
Time to cache again after the hot spell of summer! Goingtheredoingthat, KarpyKarpyson and myself embarked on another short expedition to retrieve lost treasure on a lovely Saturday morning/afternoon. I think we collected 22 smiles all round. Hint was a big help with this one! Reminded me of Keillie School...
Found while on a Saturday morning caching trip with Limbage and Karpykarpson. Find number 16 of 22 for me.

Travelling to Laura in a very roundabout way.
