So camping at Greenbushes for the Easter Weekend it was time for a little sojourn to Bridgetown. We knew these caches were here obviously but unlike us we had no list so there was alot of backtracking to complete this series.

Awesome place. Well worth the driveby.

Looking forward to meeting other Geocachers at our July Event, WA goes BIG in 2013. - GC45X55

Today we drove down to Bridgetown, to stay overnight, on our way to Northcliffe for the weekend. As we got into town about 3:30 my hubby generously gave me some time for caching, and I attacked this series.

I was able to park close by, and it didn't take long to have the cache in hand. It was much bigger than I expected! I noted the information I need for the final, and have nearly gathered them all now.

I had a great time visiting all the locations around Bridgetown, there is a lot to see. Thanks for the cache and the series allys angels!

Realized how quickly I was running out of school holidays, so headed southwards to do a bit of caching and catch up with old friends along the way. I hope the CO's won't mind if I don't write too much about each individual cache, but it was a brilliant series all 'round. Thanks allys angels

My first cache after getting an account was found on Boxing Day with SistaCate and Pippyhalfrat. For us the clue was a real give away and we were heading towards the geocache straight away. Took smiley badge and swapped with a monkeypuzzle tree nut.

Hi Ho, Hi Ho, it's off to Geo cache we go on a hot Boxing Day Morn. Pippyhalfrat, Looby Lulu ( formerly known as Juicy Lucy ) and Sista Cate set of to do some more of Grandma's Bridgetown wander. This estate started it's life as Westonbirt Estate ( based on a famous arbouretum in England ) hence the plantings of desciduous trees. After a somewhat colourful beginning it has now come to fruition and is quickly being settled. The function centre is a great venue for country weddings and in fact Pippyhalfrat was seen at one here just two weeks ago ( in a culinary role not a cacheing role ).
I must say, it is a tad difficult to be surreptitious at the entrance when so many of the new settler / muggles are coming and going from the local tip with their Christmas waste however we were eventually able to grab the cache.

Off to the next one.

Yay a FTF! Stayed in Bridgetown for the night with some extended family. Had been explaining this crazy treasure hunt game I play called Geocaching when I saw that there were some new ones in town. We made a detour on our way to dinner to find this one and happened to be the first ones to find it. I think I might have recruited some muggles to be members after this! Took nothing, left a smiley face badge. Thanks for the cache! Smile
