Logs
I have had to archive some of my caches because they keep on getting taken.
We were in the right spot. Looked all over the rusty item, even the heads of all rusty items, but could not find it. The item is perhaps far too camouflaged.
Quite a few muggles at this time of day, which caused us to have to look in fits and starts and hence no luck.
I had a good look after work today, and if the cache is still as described in the fix it log, I am pretty sure it is missing. It is of course a chance my usual cache blindness has set in again, so I hope it turns up. Thanks.

Found on a nice day around Campbell. We couldn't find it last time, as it was muggled, so we came back today and once at GZ, the cache was quickly found. There were lots of muggles passing by, so we used our muggle stealth techniques to grab and replace the cache. A great view of the lake and Canberra's great features. Good cache. TFTC ThePuzzleMaster!
Wow, can't believe how busy this place gets so early in the morning on a weekend! There were runners, bikers and walkers everywhere. Had to grab a coffee from a nearby cart and use that as a decoy to louge all over the GZ.....fingers finally settled on something that just had to be a cache .... And it was. signed, sighed, sipped and replaced. TFTC, and the views were fantastic.
5891. [green]I had tried for this one the other day but when I got close noticed that iit was offline. Went home and checked and discovered that it was back. Pays to update the GPSr more often... A quick find on a pleasantly warm afternoon.[/green]

Rated: for Overall Experience
We noticed this one come back online so it was a good choice for our cache tonight, and sooo much warmer than our last attempt in freezing conditions with rain and strong winds only to score a DNF. We parked and made the pleasant walk to GZ enjoying the almost summer like evening. A nice quick find at GZ and we were on our way.
Thanks for the cache and views .

Since the container I want isn't avaible I have temporarily put a black nano under the cache seat in a little different position.[;D]
This one is gone. So I will buy a new cache container that is different from the last one and hopefully it may not draw too much attention.
This nano appears to be awol.
I was with someone who logged a find here recently and they could no longer find it!

In the icy rain and wind we searched for this one. The only thing worse then this horrible weather was a DNF on a 1 star cache. We searched all the likely hiding spots without luck.
My final for the day, laughed at myself when I realised (read: nabbed the cache) after trying to discreetly search the whole area, only to discover things were easily within reach.

A damp and dismal day actually turned out to be a fantastic day of caching with Captain Tomato
The aim was to find enough caches to kick CT's tally up to 2,999 - even though I wasn't going to be able to accompany him on the "big one" I would be there in spirit and well wishes
Thanks for the great company. And TFTC

How easy was that, found at 12 noon on a saturday, and NOT A SOUL IN SIGHT either side of the lake, NOT ONE !!!!!!!! (The rain having just finished might explain that). Replaced in a not so visible location at the same place. TFTC.
The weather forecast for today looked a bit dismal (showers becoming rain) but Secret Squirrel and I took the chance and headed out for a fantastic day of caching. The aim was to find enough caches to kick my tally up to 2,999 - a successful mission, and now its just a case of picking a suitable cache for the milestone. Thanks for the great company. And TFTC
I will change the name of the cache to 'A nano with a View (NNC)'. The NNC means No Name Cache because that is what the cache use to be. I will change the name of the cache on the 5/10/12. Thanks to all that gave a suggestion but the winner who gave me the idea was TheKittens. I will change the name at 8:00am.
Found on a ride today. Got to gz and spotted the cache straight away. Pity just another MICRO! But TFTC
5284 + 580 = 5864. Found during a quick run around the area with Sol de Lune at lunchtime.
I think this is the first time Ive found a cache only to have it renamed when Im logging it ! Good result though - certainly some lovely views from GZ. Even with all the jogging muggles blocking the view. Quick find and off we went. Thanks again ThePuzzleMaster !
TNLN - TFTC !!
Cheers....

Ah, so close, but obviously far enough....
Nice spot to sit and watch the world go by. Lake looked pretty good and with the sun shinning on the water, it looked better than my office.

So close! Ran here from floriade, so I probably win looney points for that.

A nice easy cache! TFTC! As for a name, something's along the lines of Canberra Highlights because from GZ, you can see some of Canberra's finest buildings and tourist attractions. A nice spot!
