Had a good look on/up/under the big yellow craney thingy but couldnt find it. As with the previous cachers I think this one has taken a long walk off the jetty.
Did not find it after 5 min properly blue away ( because so small) tried looking at people's comments for clues but no luck
Three of us searched for a while - despite seeing a fisherman hook himself on the back of his shirt we came up empty - sad to walk away from this one
Had a look with the kids at night but couldn't find it. Will try again with no kids and a bit more daylight.

As we head from town to town as part of our "Purposeful Meander around Oz" the Rats and the Mini Rats found this cache.
We spent a few days at Port Broughton and did a bit of fishing from here.
Thanks for being part of our great adventure.

[Teal] As we head from town to town as part of our "Purposeful Meander around Oz" the Rats and the Mini Rats found this cache. Dad did most of the hard work here and the detail of our find can be found in the Rats log. Sorry for the duplicate log but it takes nothing away from the find.
We did some fishing here
Thanks for showing us this spot on our trip.

So nice to be offshore for a change
And after a delightful, fly free, stroll out along the jetty, I reached the big yellow craney thingy that I had seen from shore
A couple of OAP's (does anyone else live in Port Broughton ?) were sitting down on the seat nearby having a yarn about one of their recently deceased partners [:o]
So I took a seat next to the cache hiding place and soon found the cache
Carefully not dropping it, I signed the logbook and rehid the prize
Then high tailed it outa there !!
Port Broughton .... God's waiting room

After a day's caching yesterday we wandered out to the end of the jetty to relax for a while. Suspected we might be back today but there were so many here crabbing and fishing yesterday that it would have been hard to grab this one.
This morning we had about a 10 minute gap where we were the only ones out here and a quick find was made. Had to try real hard in the wind this morning to make sure we didn't drop this one or part of it. I wonder how many times this has happened to it.
Thanks.

Muggles fishing nearby, but Lil'fox and Winter played distraction while Arcticfox nabbed the nano - a walk down to the lower level, for fear of loosing it between the jetty cracks, log filled and deftly returned - great hide!
Found as a part of TheKellyGang, writing this as a genaric log as I was a part of TheKellyGang and am now out on my own.

Great day for a Walk, enjoyed fish and chips, putting rubbish in the bin (much to the gulls disgust), then down the jetty. Adjacent to a family squidding, quietly found the log but no biro! Proof is in the photo;). TFTC
The blokes working on the engine of the boat along side took no notice of us while we poked around. SL. Loved to see the fiddler rays (we think) in the shallow water, beautiful markings on them.
Quick find. The name says it all. Probably no need for a GPSr really. Nobody on the pier on this rather wet afternoon, so was able to have a little lie down in peace. So restful. TFTC
It was a lovely day to stop at Port Broughton, we picked-up a coach from Murray Bridge and stopped here to wait for a couple who was to board.
In my haste to walk down the jetty & locate the cache in the short time I had, forgot to check the clue which might of helped.
Gave so much needed exercise, thanks for the cache.

First to find the new log for this one. What a great place to visit and stunning views of jetty and waterways. Family cold in the afternoon this late March. TFTC Mollypix
You could spot the structure from the car park. The cache was where it should be. While the log is full, you can still squeeze in your monika.
Clear skies to mollypix from TeamAstro.

A great day to go touring today. Had a very nice piece of grilled whiting for lunch. Then strolled up the jetty. Think it was a dodge tide so not many out fishing. A quick find....oh we hoped we would not drop it...it would end in the drink. ...ha haa...got the log out and unrolled it....only found a little square to log in....it is now full TFTC
The first thing to do when arriving in a seaside town is walk down the jetty! Even better when there's a cache! Thanks
Found during our stay at Port Broughton for the night. Muggle deception techniques were employed in the search due to nearby fishers. Almost disastrously the cache was dislodged while feeling around the rim, and dropped. "Did anyone hear a splash, we asked?". "Nope, no splash". How it rolled across the jetty and land on a beam between the cracks, no-one knows. Signed the logsheet and returned the cache to its rightful spot. Thanks for the adventure mollypix!
Found on a day's caching with Moses on the Move, enjoying lunch with some of the locals and learning about the area

Had a good chat with some muggles who could easily be future cachers at this one today. They were happily fishing from the jetty while we were searching the yellow craney thingy. Jeremiah Bullfrog's nimble fingers found it and retrieved it with out dropping it into the sea. Thanks.
There were really only a few places this could be and although well concealed it was there right where it should be, a good hide that will more than likely stay put for quite some time.
Geocaching expedition with fellow Kadinian Karpy Karpyson on a sparkling spring day, covering Port Broughton through to Snowtown. 12th find of the day. KK did the searching, I was the lookout. Think everyone thought we were weird. TFTC
0 of 24 Finds, 6 DNF's on this run
1997 Total Finds
Made a run through Broughton to the Triangle (Kadina, Moonta, Wallaroo).
Knelt down on a very wet jetty in drizzling rain on a cold windy day, and gave this one a close inspection. No love, and hoping this one didn't go swimmin'.

Another nice hide. And as the weather was really bad, I was the only person out there with my daughter so we could take our time. TFTC
Found on a day out with TheKellyGang for Mothers Day... Nice walk along the jetty watching a couple sting ray flat looking fish(not sure what they were) TFTC
Out today for a Mothers day drive with nic.hil.kel, to do a few relaxing caches. a walk along the Jetty a few stops on the way to look in the water to see a Sting ray type fish in the water 3 of them we spotted playing in the water then schools of small fish feeding. But Geodad found this one quickly sitting looking at the views from the jetty we signed the log. TFTC

It was time for a break on our drive back home from Cowell,so a walk out the jetty seemed like a good idea. We soon had the cache in hand.No muggle activity today,so made searching easy. Thanks for the hide.
Few fisher folk around this morning but with a surreptitious sit down and the help from iphone reversible camera cache was soon in hand. Quick sign and return. TFTC
Found these on a Easter run with locus and Mrs Burtons what a great deal of fun we had
easy find for me

Headed out for a couple of days on Yorke Peninsula with Honeysuckers and Mrs Burton.
Did the locus cache on a few caches, had lots of laughs and had gorgeous weather just to cap off a great couple of days
Neither wind nor rain can halt a determined geocacher
In the wetness of a sudden heavy shower, we walked out to the end of the jetty.
Many memories of this jetty and beach: vacation swimming lessons at the beach, jumping off the jetty into the channel, pushing papa in his wheelchair down here so that he could 'supervise' while we swam,
Fishing muggles nearby but we surreptitiously snuck the cache out of it's hiding spot and SL, then replaced it

Headed over to the Yorke for a 2 days of caching with both Mr and Mrs Honeysucker, Locus Cache and Geodog Max. Had a ball - lots of laughs and stirring each other up.
I imagine if you got annoyed with someone long enough you could hang them out over the water lol.
cheers and thanks for the cache

Well this one is a bit tricky in the wind!!! Managed to retrieve and replace without dropping in the ocean! Found on Good Friday while holidaying in the caravan park - great park and great weather tftc
Stopped for lunch on the foreshore on our way north.
A beautiful day with glassy water and no wind.
Walked to GZ and had it all to ourselves making for a quick find and sign.
NOTE: The rubber ring has gone so may not be sealed that well.

Over on the copper coast for a few days with friends, their first experience in caching, hope we have them hooked as well as we do travel away a lot with them. we went back x 2 times for this one due to muggles, and then lo and behold dropped pen when about to write in it. so we have found it but not written in it. When we visit again will write in log. found just on sunset when all was quiet took some lovely photos.TFTC
Out with Big Bad Bradley(and you know what that means). It was good to get out on the water and cool down a bit, tftc
Out for a spot of fishing, vacant spot right next to the cache making a quick find, caught lots of crabs but only two legal ones to take home for dinner TFTC
Nice stroll out to this one and a quick find. Thanks mollypix for this (tiny) hide!!
Yeap the thing was big and yellow and craney
I took a pleasant stroll, on yet another breezy day out here, to do the inspection
I think i deciphered the clue but still didn't know what that was on a thing...
Looked in some obvious spots until I was successful.
Thanks for the cache and a little exercise for the day Mollypix.

Went for an evening stroll from the caravan park and using the phone decided to see if there were any caches around that we hadn't done in the past and came across this one. Found this and nearly lost it - heart was in the mouth for a moment. Couldn't sign the log as we didn't have a pen on us. TFTC
Bad news: I dropped the cache!
Good news: it didn't fall through the cracks and is all ok!

found on a glorius day for dirtbike riding ! plenty of muggle fishers around , but cach quickly in hand ! thanks
Breezy find , nearly dropped it thru the cracks, found on georide with desertfox41. TNLN.
mollypix, thanks for the cache. It was a challenge to sign the log as it was blowing a gail. We were worried that if we dropped any part of the cache we would be in trouble.
We both liked the cache name, very descriptive.

Seen this one come out so said to Dazz lets go and see if we can get a FTF.. One forgot about school holidays.. Quite a few on the jetty fishing and one family in particular had taken up residence right alongside GZ... In the end we decided to ask if it would be alright for us to look at the crane for the cache.. They asked are they GPS's and then proceeded to tell them about geocaching.. While we were doing that I had the cache in hand and Dazz had signed it... Returned to it's hiding spot and then walked back along the jetty... Seen a huge stingray while we were there also..
Thanks Mollypix for the cache and a joint FTF to Dazz and myself..

Seen this one come out and I had to do some maintenance on mine at the start of the Jetty so decided to go for a drive. Of course when we arrived the Jetty was full of people so walked out there anyway and proceeded to look as best we could but the area we needed to look at had a family set up there so walked around hopping they would move on soon but in the end we went and told they what we were up to and grabbed the cache anyway.
