Now that we have sussed out these tracks we proceeded with more confidence to this one. Someone needs to do some good artwork on these poles and make a feature out of them ! Wondered where I was heading scrambling all over these rocks, but found as described tucked away where no muggle will ever find it. Thanks for another one CoomaClan.
A cache trip to the mountains for a big hike around blue lake triggered by some events in Jindi. A number of caches planned for the drive down and some more for the way back (if I have the stemina for those).

This cache: A quick hike to find this one. What an awesome spot for a cache. Thanks for bringing me a FAVpoint.

Woohooxfound today while on an epic 520km caching trip to Northern Kosciuszk, Adaminaby and Cooma. Thanks for the cache and the Adventure. Added to my log is a random photo from today's geocaching adventure.
#1123 Our final find for the day to wrap up a brilliant 520km day trip. After an early morning hike, a few first to finds along the way and a good time overall, we looked at the time and noted it was definitely time to head home. This cache offered a really nice view. If we had fresh legs this would have been nice and quick but with already having hiked today this was all but our last push uphill, the walk back down was much better! Thanks K cache hunters for placing this one
#2986 The last of our finds on a 520km trip that had us picking up three first to finds along the way. Made the tired walk up and final scramble to reach GZ for a nice quick find. Logged and replaced as found. Thanks K cache hunters for placing this one! Now homeward we must go!!
Steep climb to get the blood pumping this morning. Easy find at GZ.
This is a lovely reserve, I am surprised these trails aren't mapped into it

Unexpectedly in town today, with some spare time. Managed to tick off this cache, along with some others that I have driven by too many times.
Cheers

Found after a bit of scrounging around in the rocks. Good view. Biggest search was to find the way past the houses but once I looked behind me instead of in front found the track through. TFTC.

Travelled from Canberra to attempt to find all the caches in Cooma. Cache soon found, after a slog up the hill. Great view. TFTC.

Haven’t been up to 3 pole in ages! Was nice to get out and walk. Amazing view from the cache and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice trail walk
Took our four boys for a walk. Soon figured out why it's called three poles. No toys in the cache before our visit, but have now placed some. Great view. Tftc
Trip to Cooma with aramil. I've walked this trail a few times when I lived here but I've never been to this very spot. I love it and wish I still live here! TFTC
Whay a fantastic view! We came the slightly higher terrain way here but it was worth it!
Runner5ive used to live in Cooma so we decided to do a day trip from Canberra to cache and share some old memories in and around the area.

Nice quick walk with pleasant views as well, made a quick find of the cache after waiting for the GPS to settle.
Thanks for the cache

Quick find as a travelled around. Little hard to find a good access point. Tftc tnln
Walked up the hill, some track, some cross terrain, wondering the whole time what the 3 poles could be??? A 3 pole Trig point perhaps???
AHHHHH - love it - and the green sign too! Great spot, nice views, Thanks.

Noikmeister and I had tackled the rain and snow today in a successful collection of an old, unloved cache near Cabramurra. So, after some coffee and muffins in Cooma, we were pleasantly surprised to see (and feel) the sun. An enjoyable walk up the hill to the three poles (just ask Noikmeister about his choice of Poles!!) and then a scramble to GZ. Noikmeister came up with the goods - loved the old Ausse pennies in the container. Nice views, too. TFTC K cache hunters

I think you should have named this cache Kosciuszko, Ulam, Curie. .
We thought this was a great cache and had all the things I like. Good exercise, not found in a while and great views. Excellent.
Thanks K cache hunters

A nice piece of bushland to visit with a good view at the top. Thank you for giving the entrance coordinates. It makes it easier for those of us who don't know Cooma that well. I did live in Cooma for three years as a child, but I was only a young infants/primary school child, and didn't get about much. Walking up the hill though brought back memories of the sparkly Cooma ground and rocks. It intrigued me as a child and still does. A favourite from me.
A bit of a scramble at the top to get to GZ. I picked up the TB 'Fish Bones', and dropped off the TB 'Happy Polar Bear-Nederland'; a swap of TBs. TFTC K cache hunters.

Coming through en-route to Thredbo, I needed a break. And what better way is there than to have a quick run up a hill! Great view!
What a great spot! A nice walk up through the rocks and trees (love Cyprus pines) along the tracks to get to the poles. (I thought this cache might have been referring to some Cooma inhabitants, but I was wrong).
Cache found OK at another nice spot. Left TB.
Thanks

The weekend was here! And what better way to spend it than to escape Canberra and head off for a coastal geomission?!
Swung by this one on the way. Made the hike up the track and then down over the rocks to make the easy find. Lovely view from here!
Thanks for the hide, K cache hunters

We were enjoying a day out in the area, visiting the very good Snowy Scheme Museum in Adaminaby. A lovely sunny but cold day. We got a shock here, finding the old container base first, then finding the new cache. Thanks for a really nice walk and outlook! (Removed the old base as rubbish.)
I couldn't find the mentioned entrance. ("Enter the North Ridge Reserve by a signposted walkway.") Perhaps some co-ordinates to this would be helpful for out-of-towners .

After living away from home for 6 months, I have managed to find all my caching associated paperwork / notes & photo's so I can (finally) log all my finds... Found this en route to Cooma while House Sitting in Jerangle...
My sincerest thanks to all the cache owners for their hides & all the effort gone into them & I'm sorry for the generic log... I have seen many beautiful area's that I would not of seen or experience if not for your hides...
Thanks for bringing me here and for the cache... You live in a beautiful part of Oz...

Caches like these are why I love geocaching. I brisk walk up a ridge to see a scene that a visitor would never usually see was a bonus to this morning's brief visit to Cooma. Trying to find a parking spot was a bit more challenging than I expected however the walk through the rock and the pines soon made up for that inconvenience. I should have brought the camera not only for the view but also for the moss on the rocks and the wildlife that included a copperhead snake sunning itself. The cache is in good condition.
Nice poles. Full credit to Green-martian with his help in this find. TFTC. This ends our day out in Cooma, now heading back home.
Thanks for the additional waypoint with parking. This cache needs some TLC, there was no lid
so I placed a rock over it and the contents which had wandered I placed back into the
container. However nice area:-)

3303. Arrr, so there is a track up here. I did the Bee line thing to get here and followed the track back to the car. Nice spot. Would make a great flying fox down those cables.

I am home this week looking after 2 of my daughters who are on school holidays. After watching them do nothing but sit in front of the tv all day yesterday, I decided they needed some exercise and fresh air. So today, they came with me to do some geocaching in southern Namadgi.
After driving through Namadgi, I continued heading south to Cooma. It took me a little while to figure out where to park in order to search for this one. After a short walk and a little climb at the end, I found the cache and a wonderful view. Find number 12 for today, TFTC.

Out for a 3H jaunt in the evening, not even thinking of a cache. We approached from Mullach St and I was pretty tired and red-faced by half way up the hill. I must be in worse shape that I think!
The view at the top was worth the effort, but my first thought was "There must be a cache up here!"
A quick search on my phone found one 30m away. Now was the time to find it! (To save me having to make the climb again!)
Two adults and 4 kids made the scramble down and the cache was soon in hand.
TFTC. I've decided to make this cache the first in my 13/14 Summer Run of Caches.

Spent the day caching with The Doggles. Pea soup fog today so unfortunately we had no clue as to how the view was. TFTH
Out with The Green Geckos from Qld. The fog was rather thick so we couldn't really appreciate the area on this cool winter day. Thank you for the cache.
On my way to Cooma to visit a friend and had a flexible timetable so took a few caching breaks along the route. Parked at Moonbi St and made the short sojourn up towards GZ. The path wanders but looking at the terrain and the fact that I wasn't really dressed for bush-walking a short meander up the path was right up my alley. Found the three poles and then a hop, skip and jump down towards GZ before heading back. Great views from up here.
Definitely gets a favourite for having a view and sitting rocks for logging whilst enjoying the scenery. Took the geo-mtb for a run along the rough single tracks to and from the 3 poles. Nice sunny but cool morning.
It was a great day for a bushwalk. We took a pretty direct path to the top. It then took a bit to actually locate the cache though.... Thanks...
Is a bit of a hike with high heel on, needless to say climbing down the rocks, challenged. Should have put another pairs of shoes in the car. Great views. TFTC
A good walk in to the site, tyook the longer option, very good. Took 3 TB's to move on. Left Nothing. Thanks
Level 3 terrain is accurate. Take your time going up knowing its all down hill when you come back. Put down the GPS when you get to GZ or you won't find it. TFtC
A pleasant stroll for the view, then a final quick scramble down for the goods. Dropped of NAIDOC week and grabbed Farmtag. TFTC
When I almost reached GZ, I slipped and dropped my nüvi. It took me some minutes and several attempts to restart it. Fortunately, it worked again eventually. (I urgently needed it to find my way to the motel at the NSW coast.)
Found the cache after some search. Enjoyed the views. Took 3 TB, discovered a fourth and dropped off two. TFTC!

This was such a nice cache to do on a couple of levels. Once we found our way in to park it was a great walk in and we were at the "Three Poles" - wow - nice views ! A quick scramble and the cache was in hand. Nice !!
Thanks K cache hunters ! ! Finally catching up with my logs !!

Coast Jan 2013. In the rapidly cooling afternoon, I headed up on this fantastic short walk. The loop in the track was a bit frustrating, but I soon made it up to the lookout. The valley below was very impressive. Then it was just a matter of stumbling down to the cache location. Thanks.

Found with fitzy on an afternoon run to Cooma.....
What a little gem of a spot. Took us a little while to find the way in, but once that was sorted, the car was parked and we were off. Only 400 odd metres from the car and the going was fine....it was raining, but under foot wasn't a problem.
Followed the arrow and the trails and we soon arrived at the Three Poles.....which was not what we were expecting. We then had the final 30 metres to GZ and again, no problems with that and the cache was soon in hand. Stood and admired the views for a few mintues before we had to get going.........just to get out of rain. (Hope the area with fire were getting some of it.....)
This is a nice area....an easy walk...with good views.....so a favourite point from me. Also left a couple of coins.......

I think this is the last of the hills in Coloma for us to do, we have now seen most of the viewpoints in the area. Warm day for a climb, thankfully cache in hand quickly. Tftc
Oh gosh, and I though you meant Tadeusz and mates!!!
Followed the path to this one - nice little walk on a VERY warm afternoon. Love the view, a very nice spot indeed. Took a coin, left a pathtag. Thanks K cache hunters!
