Time to let this one go - thanks for all the finds

01-Oct-16
Stopped by on my way to Swan Hill. Pretty sure this has been washed away. Floodwaters have definitely receded but the tree was wet inside up quite high

26-Sep-16
Looked for this one for a while but could not find. We suspect that the recent flood may have swept this one away..

Gps had us wandering about a bit today.

03-Jun-16
Wandered over the swing bridge from Traveller's Rest, past the swagman and a tree with a large number of bees entering one of the holes in it. GPS then took us straight to GZ where cache was located in the obvious place. Detoured to check out the swimming pool on the way back. Free entry - that's unusual!
Thanks, a lovely area.

Sorry for the generic log, trying to quickly log all my recent finds before I forget them all.

Lord Rossatron and I went on a road trip to Bendigo to do a spot of geocaching while going to attend a funeral in Melbourne on the Monday. The goal was to find our 100th cache on our trip, with our current total on 61 we were going to have a busy 2 days. Our trip reached a little roadblock when we blew our tyre and we lost a little more time changing it than we care to admit. After completing a drive that should have taken 4 hours if not caching in 8 hours we were very pleased to finally reach our destination. Luckily we took a major dint out of our goal finding 28 geocaches on the way, so we could have a slightly more relaxing trip back. A quick drive around Bendigo 2 days later had us find another few caches getting our total to 95 before it was time to drive home, and re visit some of the caches we drove past or DNF the first trip. Success!! Finding the few caches we DNF we managed to get to the 100th Cache. Will sleep easy over the next few days. TFTC

Travelling around Australia with our Cat.

Staying a few days in St Arnaud today we decided to head out towards Donald and surrounds.

We had a great day which included seeing lot's of historic sites and 3 very scenic hilltop caches.

Lots of people in the skate park, juniors and adults. We parked the GeoCruiser strategically to make the find. We do love these carvings and really appreciate the ones that we have found to date.

Thanks for placing your cache to add to our exploration of this area The Morris Cool

Our final overnight stop after a two week 5000km adventure from Gippsland through VIC NSW and across to Corner Country and up to Birdsville down through SA to the Flinders Ranges and Renmark last night. We discovered Travellers Rest on the way home from our Broken Hill trip last year and had to come back, the best $25 on an ensuit site ever! The town is friendly and we really like it - Cache found easily TFTC SL TNLN TBV

Just had to go and check this one out after being enabled again.

Only a 'cruisy' trip - got our usual fantastic coffee and muffin from The Boyz Café in the main street, and headed for this lovely park, on a lovely afternoon. As usual the three Cache Hounds stretched their legs comfortably.

Just a shame the cache is not so close to the carved statue as it was , (thanks to the cranky janitor!!), but I hope future visitors still take a good walk around and enjoy the place.

TFTC, The Morris, and thanks for helping to get it going again Romax and The Swaggies !!

Thanks to Romax and the Swaggies for finding a spot that might suit Groundspeak, the janitor and us.

31-May-14
Found again by Roma and Max together with our friends The Swaggies, (how appropriate).
Well hidden again but what a pity this spot didn't satisfy those pesky rules, even though a big river separated this and that!

31-May-14
We were on a mission this morning (before the Wedderburn Event) to find this cache and move it to another spot so it could be re-enabled again. The Swaggies could not remember if they had ever cached in Charlton and were keen to do the 3 that were here. Romax did the replacing and we logged the find. But we were disappointed to find that we had been here before some time. Still it was a nice park to walk around and we were happy to visit another cache named after us! Big Grin
TFTC The Morris.

Hi

I'm sorry, but your recent move has brought your cache too close to the Traditional Cache of "No Eddie" http://coord.info/GCKMR5 and will need to be moved. Please read the following item on cache saturation http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachesaturation

I've disabled this listing for the time being, could you please move it to a new location that fits within the saturation guidelines. Once that is done you may enable the cache.

This was our 1st cache find in a caching run of 1 Finds & 0 DNFs today. (This now makes our find count 8917.)
[Blue]
We were on a mission today, we had to find an old red and yellow bench seat and move the cache to a safer spot. (Easy hey? Well if we had actually downloaded the coordinates we wouldn't have had to walk over the bridge from the other caravan park - but adventure is what geocaching is all about.

Mission accomplished.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent. (We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks The Morris for the hunt today.

Found but we were accosted and chased out by the very cranky janitor lady from the caravan park who told us it was not allowed to be hidden within the caravan park. We didn't go any further into the park than the water tank. She was going to confiscate it but she let us take it outside the caravan park instead. I am very sad about this. We took it just down closer to the river (turn right from the water tank) and placed it under the old red and yellow bench. Hopefully it can be retrieved and re-placed somewhere. I have emailed The Morris. Sorry Sad

23-May-14
I think we know of an alternative spot when we are next out this way. Can't have cranky janitors banning us from areas designed to attract tourists now can we.
Thanks to kilogramjan for rescuing it.

Following an overnight stop in Ouyen we headed down the Calder toward Castlemaine, on yet another glorious autumn day. We thought we would be looking closer to the swagman when we pulled up; however the GPS'r soon redirected us and after a short search the cache was in hand.

TNLN .. . . . SL . . Thanks to The Morris for the hunt.
