Checked all the stones on the ground at and around the junction. We could not find anything. Maybe the owner could check it?

I checked a few spots before located it. Log was damp. Thanks Herbz and happy caching
Brought the bike for a ride on the flat tracks here.
Plenty of kangaroos and wallabies around.
Another creative well made cache here
Thank you Herbz for hiding this geocache

Very sneaky. In case anyone didn't think of it: don't forget the Aerogard! These mossies ate vicious!
Pprime() was the one that found this one. Still have not lost anyone as KBreeAHH and I are still around.
Even when we aren’t geocaching, we find them! Out for some birdwatching and commented on some of the surroundings. Stopped for a look and found this geocache! Must be a sign to start hunting them again!

After cleaning up at a CITO up the road earlier, Fangsoki, 1MinnieMoo and I headed here to cleanup the caches along this trail. After coffee (of course). A gorgeous area, complete with hordes of 'roos, and muggles, but so much space to spread out that largely we all kept to ourselves. A good find here
Thanks Herbz for entertaining me at this location.

29/5/21 Find #4816
Having attended Captain Terror’s Quarterly Cleanup #2 this morning, followed by a coffee with some of the attendees, Fangsoki, Pprime and I then headed here to complete Herbz’ HNT trail. We arrived at GZ just as a couple of bike riders passed by, the same ones who had not long before passed us at the previous cache. There was definitely “something fishy” about this one we noticed, as we made our find.
Thanks for the cache Herbz.

Found while out with newbie Jedry... I made the find here as Jedry had never seen anything like this before... I think I lucked out... tftc...
The mozzies are real! Holy crap!
Log is a wee bit wet. Pen had a hard time but got it.
Great hide! TFTC!

Picking up a few we missed from here a few years ago. Mosquitos had an absolute feast. TFTC
Late afternoon walk enjoying the kangas and mosquitos... well, maybe enjoying those annoying suckers is a stretch.
Arrived at GZ but needed the hint before the cache was discovered. Great hide.

Haven't seen this type before! After a lot of gps bounce and checking quite a few spots, finally got this one. Tftc
After finding one nearby, thought I get one more before heading off. It was getting close to the time where the gates get shut for the night so figured I should be quick. Once at GZ I read, re-read and re re- read the hint and then went to a few spots and then something stood out, woohoo, found it. TFTC
This cache tested my sanity. I went in thinking I knew exactly what to look for, but both my phone and gps kept misleading me. After ditching them both and going back to my first thought I eventually found the thing. It is a lovely area and I was able to spot kangaroos, wallaby's and even an echidna on my ride. I really should have taken the mossie spray though. TFTC
While staying in Surfers Paradise with our caravan in order to visit with our niece and her family while they are holidaying on the Gold Coast from Adelaide we still found time to do this series of caches. A lovely selection of hides. Fav point alloc. Thankyou Herbz for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area
Return visit to the area of HNT. 3 caches on the list today. All good. Lucky we saw real Koala bear in the nature. Big joy and fun here. TFTC and for bringing me here! FP awarded.
I was out for a day of caching today with Selva Girls and Mr & Mrs RoddyC. We spent an enjoyable morning in the wetlands, taking in nature and marvelling at the many roos. We found many creative caches making this a great spot to spend a few hours in the fresh air. Thanks for the time you've taken to place and maintain these caches Herbz
Out for a day of caching with storigirls and RoddyC. What a better place than the wetlands to go for a walk. There were lots of fun caches to be found here, along with a great variety of wildlife to watch. This one had us searching for quite a while before stortigirls spotted it. TFTC
We came across your cache, Herbz, on a Saturday geocacher day in the company of Selva Girls and Storti girls.
Well stone the crows! It took ages for the GPS to settle. In the meantime, Storti girls found the clever hide.
Log signed and cache replaced at 11:50 AM on June 23, 2018. TFTC.

Tftc. I had an idea for a camo juding from the name of this cache and that feeling grew when I arrived to area. Few minutes seeking couple of places and I had the camo in my hands. Nice hide.
Friday 24 November 2017 - a glorious sunny Spring day in the high 20s although a bit breezy making cycling a but more of an effort than it should otherwise have been.
Found 12 from 13 caches (11 trads, 1 letterbox) after cycling over 12km around the reserve in approx. 3hrs. In total I cycled 30km over 6.5hrs to and from north High Street Southport, where MuggleDaughter lives, stopping off in Habour Town to pick up few things on the way home.
Loved the boardwalk trail best of all and the change of scenery between caches. Also should have heeded the previous cachers warning re: mosquitoes. MUST TAKE INSECT REPELLANT NEXT TIME. A favourite point for this series will be placed on the 'Gordon' cache - my favourite
This cache was a quick and easy find thx to the hint. TFTC Herbz.

Brought my bike back with me today for some more finds along this trail. Packed a nice picnic lunch this time and managed to forget a pen! TFTC
Reaching the junction, I looked about and saw a few different likely looking hiding spots. Making my way along, something caught my eye, and on closer inspection it was it. Now looking at the map, I had to decide which was the next path that I needed to take. More of the conservation are to explore!
Thanks to Herbz for placing this cache.

Sneaky hide that one Herbz TFTC
I can hear some very weird gutteral grunting near by, either a koala or a yowie!

Headed down to Bris for an over night stay from Toowoomba hoping to build a few numbers to complete a goal before an interstate trip. This area was the goal for before breakfast on day 2 and this was stop 9. Time was limited now and after circling a couple of times I decided to move on the last one I wanted to grab before heading back to the car. Something caught my eye as I was walking away and luckily I was able to sign this log. Great hide and TFTC Herbz
Out for an afternoon of caching with MNANCE101 and we decided to tackle this series.
Much to my suprise I put my hand on this one straight away - something just looked not quite natural!
TFTC great hide.

After doing Shores 4 the chikins headed through the bush to find this one. The GPS was 8-10 mtrs out and had us quite away from where we needed to be. Mr EMC who was sitting down resting actually found this one without really looking for it. He was right near where we needed to be. Thanks for another great cache with uniqueness (is that a word!). Find 12/19 for the day.
Our last day at the Gold Coast, this cache was in a nature reservw close to the caravan park where we were staying. Once we had found a track we then wandered the many trails untillwe were close to GZ.
This was far trickier than the previous one, we were happy when we spotted the hide.
Thanks for placing this cache

A clever hide quickly found. Caching with The X-Trailers. Great seeing so many different hides along the trail. TFTC
This one had me hunting for ages was just about to walk away and there it was. Great camo. Tftc
Coordinates were off, was only a couple steps off the path. Fishy and a stone all makes sense now after finding the cache. Tftc
After looking for a while we decided to read a few logs and guessed what we were looking for. Well hidden but looked out of place once we saw it. TFTC Herbz. No pen today so took a photo.
My first cache found since being introduced to geocaching by a family member who recently visited from overseas. Guess I'm officially no longer a Muggle! Onwards to find No.2!
Thought this one might be a bit tricky, but got lucky and spotted it quickly.TFTC.Herbz.
Another clever one which took us longer to find than necessary. However we found it in the end and added our name to the log. It was now time to head back along the track to the car. TFTC
Found most of the caches in this coombabah area but ones near the broadwalk 7 months or so ago. We came back about 3 weeks ago 1x skateboard 1x bike and found 1 caches and cracked it after having no mozzie spray, skateboard only on broadwalk not on gravel so we left. In the mean time kept a eye out for a geo bike and we found one. With easy no tool wheel take off and a shelf to hold our geo gear and save our backs. So off today after a well earnt sleep in, mozzie spray in bag and ready to go.
Found at 2.58pm, looked for about 15mims or so gps bouncing around again at this cache. Read a few past logs and saw "rock of ages" and bam!! We found the cache within 2 foot of the bike are you serious!!!! Favit point to you for this one as different to most caches like this concept.
Thanks for the cache. TNLN. SL.

I saw on the FB vine that CAD was looking to find this series of caches. She was also looking for someone to join her. I had had this nature trail recommended to me I was keen to drive down and give it a go. Hmm, with flat ground, bikes would be great to use here. I packed them into spangle and zoomed on down the highway.
Meeting up with CAD, she was quick to get the hang of the bikes again after so long and soon enough we were doing wheelies in the car park. Rightio, let's go! Pedal, pedal, pedal, splash Haha! Along the way we had many small lakes to ride through. I'm sure this wasn't in the brochure Our feet were very quickly wet, but it was refreshingly cool. It certainly was hot and muggy today.
The plan of attack was to ride to the furthest cache and start from there. A few pit stops later and we were pulling up a piece of grass in the shade not far from GZ, did I mention it was hot and muggy. After a small siesta the fun of finding the caches began.
CAD was all over this one with ideas where to be looking for it, don't ask me why I thought it was going to be in the tree Soon enough the sneaky beasty was in hand and we were leaving our scribble in the log. All good with this one.
Thanks for the cache Herbz

I headed out with Nyssaflutterby, who was kind enough to lend me a bicycle. It was hot and humid and parts of the tracks were under water which was sort of ok because that cooled my feet. Nyssaflutterby quickly found this cache. Very clever hide. I expected it to be bigger for some reason.
Our last cache for the day having to get home soon so riding fast and dodging lantana we arrived at GZ and made a quick find, And headed home.
We will be back to do the rest of the HNT series.
Thanks for the HNT series.

I stepped off the path looking at a massive stone thinking it looked out of place, nope, but I went to step back onto the trail, hmmm maybe it's this and yes it was.that could have been a whole lot harder than it was this time. Nice camo. Tftc
Another HNT cache. Another creative hide. This one didn't disappoint. For I don't know what reason, this took longer than it should have but still had within seconds. TFTC. SL.
Out for an early morning walk with my father in law. Followed the cache trail through here - 3 hours later we were back at home base. GPS had us deeper into the bush initially but after reading the hint we found some more likely places to check. Soon enough we saw the odd one out.
Thanks Herbz for the cache.
