My APOLOGIES! Today was to be the day for cache maintenance, but I got caught up with helping a friend move house. Hopefully Sunday arvo next week!
Sorry, I had forgotten about this one. Will put a note 'on the fridge', and get onto replacing this!
Got a few others just about to go out as replacements.

I think it will be this weekend that I am able to get up onto 'the Plateau', so will detour and check on this one.
No luck today. I had been up at Dingo tops performing some cache maintenance when i dropped by this one on the way home. Read the hint but to me it looked like the area had just been burnt out in the past few weeks. Unable to find a container or the remnants of one.
Sorry Cookie but it could a case of cache blindness.

It was nice to finally stop at this spot. We've driven past a few times over the years and usually are well past with now chance of turning round by the time we've seen it. A cool cloudy day today found the cache intact and the log signed. TFTC Graham Cookie.
Great find with kids... No longer burnt out grass and pen doesn't work and was a bit wet
Love these rest area caches just watch for the local friends.. they're a bit clingy...
14:10 We visited the Comboyne Fair today so took the opportunity to go to this cache, an earlier incarnation of which we'd found at this location four and a half years ago. A very recent fire got to within 1 metre of the cache but fortunately it survived. TFTC Cookie.
Found on our way to ellenborough falls from port macquarie, whilst the trees block the view a little bit this tranquil little spot is definitely worth a visit.
No troubles finding the great little cache though.

I had been told about geocaching yesterday. I found this one unintentionally today and thought it must be fate so here I am, lets see where it takes us. Big thanks to have a chat for the introduction.

Found today after an unexpected trip to Comboyne. I think this is the third cache that I have found here and the second in this exact spot. I love a location that keeps on giving!! thanks for the cache Grahame
Another awesome kid-friendly spot for a cache, thank you! Easy parking, kids got out and had a run around while Mummy climbed over a fence. Found cache fairly easily, did hold onto tree while I retrieved cache though! Contents a little wet, shook out as much water as possible. Log book still fine in snap lock bag. Signed Log, took little spiky creature and left few treats. TFTC.
Found on the way back from the Comboyne Fair. Quick and easy find for Eatmorchikin (I sent him off into the stinging nettles!). Book is sopping wet and needs some maintenance. Sorry we didn't have supplies. TFTC . . . eatmorchikin & Stigglepot, Brisbane
Been hot on the heels of Andrin443 all day by the look of the cache logs I signed today. Shame not to have met a fellow cacher. Enjoyed this one immensely - slid down the embankment on my butt, and then was too far from GZ. Climbed back up, wrong burnt hollow log, slid down again, still too far... climbed back up again, found another likely spot, nope. Sideways scramble, and voila! There the prize was... lovely spot too, especially for GeoK9..TFTC and thanks for the fun!
I was in the area to Byabarra today so thought I'd go the extra yards to claim this one. I ended up on the bottom of the slope before having to make my way back up the slippery, rocky slope. Should have remembered where the last one was hidden here.
Thanks Cookie.

Can see how this picnic area got it's name. Nice spot to stop for a break on our way through. TFTC Grahame Cookie
Travelling from Ellenborough to Coopernook State Forest via Comboyne. Noted that there were caches along the way, so with a little spare time we decided to "catch" a couple.
A quick find, Took Nothing Left Nothing, Signed Log, TFTC Grahame Cookie, it gave us a reason to stop and take in the surrounding countryside.

Out caching today with Di and Bill of the Di Morgan team. We found a series of caches that these locals had not yet done and along the way we saw some beautiful scenery as we traversed the hill country west of Port Macquarie. The weather again was perfect which made the caching all the more pleasant. Easy to find photographic points around here. We enjoyed the drive and the lookout.
Thanks to Grahame Cookie.

Heading to the outer region of Port Macquarie to find caches further afield.
We were accompanied today by Liz&Bruce, good to be able to show them some of our wonderful scenery.
A good spot to rest & take in the views, good hit makes for an easy cache.
Thanks Grahame Cookie

Found at 1:27 PM GAFF1 in the company of geoge. After a nice lunch at the Hastings Hotel - just $6 for beer battered fish and chips with a drink - we then headed for Comboyne on this absolutely glorious day. Stopping along the way at the "elbow" and enjoying the scenery.
Thanks Grahame Cookie for keeping this one going.
