1MinnieMoo decided to tackle these now-archived caches. Such a shame the cache owner lost the love for geocaching.
We parked up for this one.. thankfully just getting enough service again to know exactly where the cache was. We soon found the prize safe and sound while en route to our perceived GZ. It was in good condition.
We signed the log and rehid the cache as found. Another good little hide.

Fangsoki and I were doing the Australia Day rounds heading “a little country” for a day of adventure between Leyburn and Toowoomba. We knew of these recently archived caches, and decided we needed to go on the hunt.
I was still having issues here with service, however thankfully Fangsoki is with Telstra, and by this stage had enough to get us by.
With log signed we continued our journey along this road for the rest of the series.
Thanks for the cache griz066.

The cache owner has decided Geocaching is not what it used to be. It used to be fun now there are too many tree huggers running around the country side pretending to be cache police, and vandalising caches. I don't want any part of it any more.
A quick find in a favourite type of bush hide.... funny how putting a few natural things together can shout out 'cache'. [^] TFTC griz066.
Hunter and Court have hunted and caught this cache. Did a whole lot of unnecessary bush walking and then spotted it from the dirt road
There is a log sitting across a stump.
If you get to it, you have gone too far!

Tuesday. This is the last day of our return journey after staying at Carnarvon Gorge for the International Earthcache Day. Like a previous finder, we found GZ to be about 14m away from posted GZ and unfortunately, Mr and Mrs SP managed to then find lots and lots of that ground cactus which stuck to our shoes with the spikes going right in. If you hit the big black tree, you have gone too far! (and will likely hit the cactus). We spend ages getting out the spikes from Mr SP’s shoes, but we got there in the end. Log signed and replaced in its hidey stump all covered up
This was the 16th of 25 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***griz066***, for showing us this place.

Hi there griz066.
We found your cache **"Not Ferny Wattle"** today. (This makes our find count 19522).
Today we cached around Cecil Plains. The secondary aim of the day was to cache along roads we haven't traveled since we became full time grey nomads. Once we've done that we can draw another line on our wall map).
We found 11 caches today (DNF'd 2) .We thoroughly enjoyed our cache raid. Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 14m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Signed this with Mum as 'Jess & Caro'. She is now Carø and I now have my own geocaching profile so we are sorting my logs for caches we found together. TFTC!
A little walk, took something and left something. Sorry for the late log. Thanks for the cache!
Off for a drive and a picnic for my birthday with Ranibaskale today. We went through Dalby, to Lake Broadwater for lunch, and then continued onwards along some other roads with geocaches yet unfound by us.
Oh the flies. Oh the mozzies. Oh crap, the orb spider web! Aaaaarghhhhh!!!
'tis all good... we found the cache. [;-)]
Thanks for the cache, griz066!

TFTC. We left Kingaroy this morning taking advantage of a nice sunny day to drive to our overnight stopover in Millmerran.we stopped in Cecil Plains to stretch our legs and maybe find a cache or two. On our way out of town we noticed this series. The side of the road was solid enough to hold the weight of the motor home . We did however miss the first two of the series. Never mind , an excuse to come back.
Up early this morning as were are moving on to Texas, and I want to cache but Pa wants to be off the road by midday to avoid the worst of the heat.
Pulled up on the side of the highway and walked across towards the GZ. Was thrown completely off course by the massive spider webs that I kept running into.
Cache was where I expected it to be, so after adding my name to the log I replaced the cache where I found it and hurried back to the car to head off to the next one Thanks again Griz600 for placing and maintaining this series of caches for our enjoyment. Stamped log.

Quiet stretch of road out here this afternoon. Parked on opposite side of road & made our way in. Cache located & logging duties completed we made our way to the next. Tnsl tftc xo
Hi there griz066 - while in Dalby we decided a day outing to Cecil Plains was in order so off we went. This cache was a quick find and sign before continuing our day. SL. This is our find #4701 - thanks to griz066 for this cache.

When I first started caching I travelled along this way with angloj to pick up these caches but because we weren't ready for the lack of signal we missed a few. Now a few years on and I am back to pick up the rest. This was the first stop and a nice easy find here. TFTC griz066
No service to access new coordinates at site but see that note now! Next time.....
I was following the GPS to GZ when hubby asked where I was going - he had the cache in his hands. WI was still 14ms from the cache so we are not sure if this one has suffered from cache creep or if there is an error in the listed co-ords. We will include the co-ords that worked for us. SL TFTC
Today Youngoldfella, triciac2 and myself teamed up for a one day road trip to find a few of the new geocaches that have appeared since we have been to the various places we travelled to today.
Of course some of us have found some of the geocaches along the way and at other locations others of us had not found the geocaches there.
We travelled about 400km in total. I found about 14 geocaches, youngoldfella a few more and triciac2 a few more again.
The container for this cache has had better days. We had a spare container of a similar size in the car so moved the log book and swaps into the new container.
Thanks for the cache.

On a cache day run with Youngoldfellow and Brother Colin. After some cooler weather we have a beautiful warm day for our drive. Clever hide. After all the dry weather it was wonderful to see all the green grass and surface water beside the roads. Tftc
Staying at Millmerran for the Camp Oven Festival we took the opportunity to find some caches and this was one of them. Had to widen our search to find this one. Dropped off TB.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

While in town for the Festival we noticed this series of caches on the way to Cecil Plains ,we love finding caches in a series and had a great afternoon with our fellow cachers ,thanks for placing them and apologise now for the generic logs TFTC
Camping in Cecil Plains for a couple of days while we wait for the Camp Oven Festival. Spending the day today chasing all the caches in the area.
GZ was no where to be seen, so we both widened our search, and eventually found the spot. Approximately 12 metres away!
Thanks Griz066

Great caches on this run. We ran out of signal so saved the logging til we got back to camp. Finally on the last bit of this run the mozzies thinned out a bit, TFTC
Travelling around Australia in our Caravan with our cat.
After a great night with friends in Dalby it was time to move south today. We headed towards Milmerran but stopped for several hours in Cecil Plains. So glad we did. [^]
Enjoyed our visit to this town, exploring and finding the swimming pool, train station, golf course, cricket oval, Apex park. The cotton farms and bales, bush track driving. All caches bar 1 had good co-ords.
Wow seriously disappointed to locate the cache 16ms SW of GZ. Hope the co-ords can be fixed here.

We are on a road trip heading to the ACT. We are towing our caravan and are enjoying traversing the back road where quite often there is an opportunity to stop and do a cache without being annoying to any other traffic. We have also based ourselves in Cecil Plains and Warialda and done some of the most enjoyable and creative caches we have ever done. We are so impressed with the standard of these caches. [^][^] Thanks to griz066.
We had an overnight stop here at Millmerrin. Up nice & early to find the caches in the Cecil Plains area.
What a great day we had, wonderfull caches found 14 in all & gave 5 favourite points. This is amazing for such a small town.
Started on the trees & then around the town, allwas so quiet at 8am in the morning.
With all the rain recently it made it interesting to get to some of these caches. At this location my foot went down to the ankles in soft mud from the side of the road.
Thanks for placing this cache griz066

Was out and about today so did a Maintenance run on all my caches. I can confirm that this cache is in the original location and is in good condition. Happy hunting.
Our aim today was to drive from Cecil Plains to the next place Millemeran and do a few caches on the way. Well, glad we did. Amazing trail and a nice variety of caches. Another quick find. TFTC griz066.
iPhone had me at GZ but nothing looked at all cachie! Looked in the logs and coords might be a touch out. Had people waiting in the car for me so had to leave. Will search another day. TFTC

9416 kms travelled in 21 days, one awesome eclipse observed near Mt Carbine in Northern Queensland and 712 cache finds, including a small handle of FTF's.
This was a trip I'd been planning for over 12 months with the main reason being to observe the solar eclipse on the morning of the 14th of November. I had decided to drive to Palm Cove and back, where my penthouse accommodation was located, while the rest of the family flew up and back. I love the drive and the unknown adventures that lay ahead; and I even think the last time I did one this big may have been for the previous eclipse in Australia which occurred over SA.
Apart from the great experiences, awesome scenery, and the characters met, the other reason to drive was to also do some serious caching, with the plan to stop at some power trails along the way including the Fruit Run and A.S. series near Stanthorpe on the way up and the Mid North Coast Wander series, just out of Port Macquarie, on the way back.
I had five days to travel each way with ten days in between spent in Palm Cove holidaying with my family. My route up took me from Melbourne to Tocumwal and up to Glenn Innes, through Toowoomba, Rockhampton and the coast road to Cairns while my route back was a bit more erratic. Heading from Cairns to Townsville then via Charters Towers to Rockhampton. From here it was through the amazing mining region to Roma then across to Dalby down through Stanthorpe (again) to Armidale, Port Macquarie, Wagga Wagga, Tocumwal and then home - phew.
Today I made my way from Roma, through Dalby and Millmerran and onto do some more of the A.S. series out of Stanthorpe that had been added; before crashing in the car in a great little spot I found just off the New England Hwy somewhere south of Tenterfield.
Another nice find in the 'Not ...' series of caches along here. It took a little bit of searching and I had to widen my search area before locating the hide which was about 15 m from GZ according to my GPS. Grabbed some trackables as well. Thanks for the hide.

Had to be in Toowoomb a for a meeting this morning so made a plan to gather the few awaiting smileys. Got this one on my way home. Quick find at 1210. Heading home via Cecil Plains. I followed the GPSr in the direction it was pointing and was looking for likely hides on the way in as previous logs indicated co ordinates were slightly off. Found the hide pretty quickly. I had the co ordinates 12 Meters out. I had GZ at S27 36.067 E151 10.157. Left two trackables TNSL TFTC.
Just dipping a TB I forgot to add to the swag bag and it missed being logged as visited.

69km from home.
Another quick find but since I have been having trouble beating Mrs RF to the prizes, I tried a different tack, left the tech in the car and just followed her into the scrub, while she is head down doing the nav, I’m checking out possible hide sites, it seems to be working, as I find the hide before she has got a decent fix using the tablet.
Took nothing but memories and left nothing but footprints.
Hide, log and container are all in good nick.
Thanks for the cache griz066.

Didn't plan to find these caches but went off route to give it ago and was pleasantly surprised how many were out here. I don't know if my GPS was playing funny buggers or the co-ords were out a little but found it a short distance away. There were no swaps in there so we left a little toy. TFTC SL
