The cache owner has decided Geocaching is not what it used to be. It used to be fun now there are too many tree huggers running around the country side pretending to be cache police, and vandalising caches. I don't want any part of it any more.
Griz out.

Homeward bound from QOGM2019 and collecting caches along the way. Stopping for the caches makes the drive go along much quicker. Thanks to all the COs for placing these caches and making the trip much safer.

This took way longer that it should have. It was muggle husband who found this one in a spot I had already checked. Bless him. Love caching in Millmerran and the excellent country clothing store where I spent too much money.

Thanks to the clue this one was a very quick find. Did we stop and exercise though - of course not, we figure we get enough exercise undoing the seatbelts and doing them up again after every cache!!!!
As others have mentioned the nearby water tank has great art and is worth a stop to check out properly.
I curse this hider though, I can't get that horrible Olivia Newton John song out of my head now!!!
Thanks.

We had time for a little caching as we travelled from Bathurst to Hervey Bay and back to see the whales. We thoroughly enjoyed both and are grateful for the caches which helped make the trip more enjoyable. Had morning tea here while the dog walkers went away and sat on a piece of equipment. Can't believe I put my hand down right on the cache!

26-Jul-19
We are on an eight day trip to Hervey Bay. We saw the most amazing wild creatures close up at Hervey Bay. Whales are ugly but still so wonderful. We also saw some beautiful countryside, although everywhere is in dire need of rain. Thanks for your cache which helped us take a break from driving and have fun at the same time.

After a quick find Genghicat got very physical falling asleep on the exercise equipment. There is the most amazing painting on the structure nearby which i took photos off. Cache found in good condition. Tftc

Yaaay!! I'm off on my Brisbane trip. Sad to be leaving my lady and her kids. I shall have to cheer myself up with geocaching ...

I've done some pocket queries and some research on the results. I'm trying to meet lots of targets for Professor Rapidly Wild's UGC series at home, so I'm seeking :

Two caches placed in 2000 - none found so far
One cache placed in 2001 - none found so far
119 caches of size "Regular" - Thirteen found, so far
20 caches of size "Large" - One found so far
One letterbox in Qld - none found so far
One letterbox in NSW - none found so far
Any puzzles and multicaches I can reasonably find.

I've located enough caches to find on this trip on this trip to complete all but the last target. So we'll see how I go. I don't know why, but I'm tired today. I thouhgt I slept well, but I needed lots of coffee to get me started. I've been stopping for caches and at rest areas and wide spots on the road to limber up. This was a great cache for me today. It was a good hide, and equipment was provided to enable me to limber up. The GeoSchnauzers got a walk too.

Day 1, Monday - 12 in total, including five "Regular" sized caches.
Day 2, Tuesday - 16 in total, including one "Large" and eight "Regular" sized caches
Day 3, Wednesday - 21 in total,

Find no 2 of 18 today.
Thanks, griz066

Found by Mary and David at 1105. Heading to Fraser Island for a family gathering, then on to the Clear Waters Mega. Lovely sunshine, green grass and water views. Delighted to see the water tank has been painted with themed scenery, but the silos could use similar treatment. Our thanks to griz066.

Coords took me to the sign then read
'The cache is not located at the post you are standing in front of, it is in the exercite'. Shouldn't the coords be where the cache is hidden not in the general vicinity? Surprised this got approved as I know of others in similar circumstances that we're not approved.

Anyway, after being stung by a bee/wasp/hornet while feeling around under all of the equipment I saw the cache in a very easy for muggles to spot location. Signed the log and replaced the Cache in a non visible spot at the same location.

Gorgeous park and lovely to sit here with the geopup on a beautiful Queensland Day. Thanks for sending us here and showing us this gorgeous scenery.

**Day 6 - International Earth Cache weekend Carnarvon Gorge Return Journey**
Accompanied by Slow Puncture we are now on the return journey after a fabulous weekend at Carnarvon Gorge. Today from Chinchilla back East to Dalby then via Cecil Plains, Millmerian and then back home..

Thanks to all the CO’s who made our trip interesting along the way Cool

Tuesday. This is the last day of our return journey after staying at Carnarvon Gorge for the International Earthcache Day. Arriving at GZ, we parked the geomobile and as we looked across, saw two people who looked awefully suspicious Big Grin We introduced ourselves to a lovely couple of novice geocachers named Chris, Ann and their dog Tizzy (they don’t have a geo name as yet). We used the hint and correlated it with the pictures but still came up nada. It was Ruzzelz who made the eventual find. We all signed the log and parted ways from our new geo friends.

This was the 21st of 25 caches found on today's trip.

Thanks ***griz066***, for showing us this place. Smile

The hint threw us for a bit. At the spot the phone was indicating thought it might have something to do with pole dancing and MrsG was thinking she'd be up Ship Creek. Thank goodness sanity prevailed and no unattractive amateur pole dancing was used in the finding of this cache. TFTC griz066.

Parked up and wandered over to GZ, walked round the appropriate piece of equipment without any luck, then had to look a lot harder before finding what I was looking for. TFTC griz066 Smile

Over the years, geocaching has taken me on many adventures, including interesting destinations all over my home continent of Australia and many overseas as well. It has also introduced me to a diverse group of like-minded caching tragics, many of whom I now call close friends.

Today, I was lucky enough to be out and about searching for caches, something I do on almost a daily basis. This was one cache that was targeted and found.

Sorry for the late and generic log, something I am notorious for. Thank you griz066for adding to the adventure that is geocaching.

TFTC>. We had spent the night camped across the road in Walpole Park. Woke early so went out for a walk to stretch the legs. Quick find. Was not tempted to use the equipment. Continued on a walk and returned to the motor home for breakfast.

11-Oct-17
Staying in town for a couple of days at the camping ground so went exploring.
It was 29 degrees and there was a young bloke here doing a workout. Luckily he finished up not long after I arrive so managed to get the cache signed and returned.

T-Tech was down at Inglewood for work for a few days, so I decided to take a road trip from Brisbane last night to surprise him Big Grin Guess I am pretty crazy! After breakfast at the bakery this morning, I left him with his colleague and headed north to Toowoomba. Millmerran was my first stop and I made all three caches here into smileys Big Grin

There was a fellow admiring the equipment here, but he wasn't interested in using it Razz I figured it was best to let him know what I was up to, and he seemed rather intrigued. A new convert perhaps? Loved the hint, which took me straight to where the cache was hiding [^] TFTC, griz066.

28-Sep-17
Up early this morning as were are moving on to Texas, and I want to cache but Pa wants to be off the road by midday to avoid the worst of the heat.
Thanks for the great hint here Griz600. It was a very quick find and after signing duties were completed the cache was returned to its hidey hole. Log signed as SG as I often do in small caches to save space.

25-Sep-17
Thanks

22-Sep-17
A very good hint meant i didn't have to lurk around this area for very long as it was very late in the night while on my 3 day trip from Ballarat to Childers. I can see this spot being very popular with the locals. Tftc

A nice quick find as Mr Downer picked the right piece of equipment straight up. Tftc

I remained in the Geo-Beast, catching up on our cache notes, while Geo-Mamma headed to GZ.
Having finished what I was doing I looked up to see G-M looking in the wrong place altogether.
Apparently the 'hint' doesn't show on her App.
Once G-M had seen the hint it was a quick find.
Made our mark & replaced as found.
