On a nice day, while out checking my own caches, and placing a new one, I thought I'd give this local cache another go! Again I came away empty handed, Not sure if this one is still there?
Quite a few DNF, maybe the owner could review it?

Out with Trodectus for a bit of a walk after lunch. Arrived GZ and very quickly had CIH despite it being separated from its camo. Seems very easy for this type D rating so suspect there may be a bit of cache creep? Log signed and cache and camo returned. TFTC
Found with Coybear2000. We were in the area and decided to go for a walk to this one. Once at GZ I looked in one place while C retrieved the cache from another spot. TFTC.
We missed the cache first time - although we were looking at the right place. Second time lucky and we found it. As mentioned in previous logs - the cache has been detached from a camo. It looks like the CO does not live in the area anymore so it would be a good idea for the next cacher to bring with him some glue (liquid nails perhaps ?) and glue the cache to the container. Unfortunately I was not prepared for this ... Still it was a nice discovery during the lovely Sunday afternoon. TFTC
very quiet in the park today TFTC

Parked on th eopposite side of the sports oval and walked around the area until arriving at GZ. This must be our quickest find ever for the posted difficulty, 10 seconds However the camo is broken and would need some love from the CO.
Cute little find on a beautiful Tuesday afternoon bike ride. Did wait out some muggles but it's about the timing, right
Found on a pleasant Saturday afternoon bike ride down Windsor Rd. An initial search proved unfruitful and my PAF was busy, so I went away and found a nearby cache. On returning (and reading a few logs), I got lucky and very quickly afterwards had CIH. SL TFTC Team Sunderland!
Tricky little hide! It managed to stay together when I discovered but soon came apart while completing signing duties. I put it all back together & replaced it as found. The coords jumped around a bit and had me off from GZ by a few meters. TFTC
We have visited some nice parks during our trip today in Northmead, Winston Hills, Baulkham Hills and Bella Vista and found this cache.

#2822nd - Eventually found but quite a few metres out in amongst the corks. The cache needs urgent gluing to its camo.

Many thanks to the cache owner Team Suderland for establishing and maintaining another local cache.

Found it while in the area. I walked straight up to this and was lucky to find it quickly. As previously mentioned, the camo has come away and needs some maintenance. TFTC
Previous logs indicated the GZ which was where my signal directed me. I saw two things that varied from the predominate sedimentary rock.
When I found the find the cache container had come loose. CO attention required.

Taking a stroll with Mr MR, he suddenly recognised the location, announcing that there was a cache in there somewhere. Although he’d found it before it wasn’t where he was looking today. However, I found it in literally the first place I looked. The cache has come away from its camo but is otherwise in good condition. Thanks Team Sunderland.
I was a little worried If I would even find anything considering the weather we have had and this cache hasnt been found in over 6 months. I parked at the Sport field and short walk to GZ. Weather wasn't very clear, neither was the GPS signal. So I was relying on satellite images to pin point GZ. I searched there and around for about 10 mins, not understanding the hint or finding a clue in other find logs. This find today was based on literally on something that looked different to the others there at this location. Surprisingly, This was the cache. Even though what was there was a little different, it still didn't looks all that likely. Sneaky Hide. TFTC.
16/12/14. 11:57 AM. Cache #2092. Streak day #177. I came to Bella Vista to try to get the newish one nearby, "Insane in the Usain". Annoyingly, I was muggled out by pipe tradies working right near that one's GZ, so my only choice was to ditch that one and look for older caches nearby. Luckily this one was in walking distance, so off I trotted.
At GZ, I was faced with a needle in a haystack! I searched the haystack for about 15 minutes, and checked out some old logs. Eventually, temptation gave in and I texted a friend, only to find out it's not so much in haystack territory. Glad to get a smiley here. I decided that I wanted one more, so I stayed on foot and crossed over to "T-Way". TFTC }:)

#1164 (3 of 4 Today)
I'd originally intended to target a different area today, multis and puzzles that I had already calculated GZ's coordinates.
But just as I was about to leave home, today's publishing started, and one cache was in a very familiar park, not too far away.
So, plans altered...
* * * END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION * * *
Decided on a pair of caches near the T-Way to finish with, this being the first.
Parked at the oval, which I remembered from playing soccer many years ago, and walked along the path to GZ.
The likely area identified, I scoured it until, just after disturbing an ants' nest by moving a rock, I spotted the hide.
Took it away a short distance to complete signing duties and replaced.

After picking up "T-Way" I walked on to attempt this one. Surprisingly, I found it very quickly, in the second place I looked. Very nice camo.
Thanks for the cache Team Sunderland.
Thanks for the cache Team Sunderland.
I did the search all over upon arrival, but then slowed down for a think.
Going through the previous logs I caught a hint of a clue. Looking back to gz I loomed for some sign, but then spotted something else, which proved to be the cache.
Thanks.

Thought I should have a bit of challenge for my 75th cache...... Very worth it! TFTC!
Well I started at the top then thought it might be easier to come up from the bottom. Nope. That didn't help. It's a strange place looks like someone's outdoor beer and wine cellar with lots of empty and full bottles lying around. Back where I started I happened to kick something & AHA!! TFTC.
Not one I'd want to bring kids to. There is a lot of broken glass very close to the cache (& all over the place)

Finished my tour through Bella vista and king langeley and camo over the bridge to catch a bus
But.... Your cache tempted me to stay longer and reading the long list of previous logs I knew, that's a long search ahead...
By picking Baktrak's note, I armed myself with a DIY-broom and started - spare me the details of looks and search
Got it, nice and dry, and again: hint makes sense as soon as one has found it
Just great!
Tftc and favorite point!
Ps: careful for the next cachers: lots of broken glass bottles around!

Logging this find almost a week later, geo hubby and I spent about 45minutes at this location. Just as we were about to leave me must have moved something that we hadn't before. And geo hubby found it bright as day. CO may need to check the site. As we were no sure of the exact hiding place. Hopefully we replaced in a similar location. Great hide!
After a playground visit with the kids and then scooter races around the tracks and over the bridges, I headed to GZ. Confidence in the GPS narrowed things down to just a few objects. Searching systematically, I quickly had CIH. Nice camo! Log is in perfect condition. TFTC TS!
Must be my luck day as quick found it and signed the log with sevabo. thanks Team Sunderland for the hide the cache. ★☆★☆★
Quick and easy find. Then I noticed I had left my pen near a pineapple, so a trip back to the car was in order.
After an attempt on this one a few months ago I was determined to find it today. Geoson 3 was dragged along for fun and he was the lucky one to find it eventually. We looked everywhere, thinking about similar nearby TS hides until it was spotted in yet another new cache type. No hints from us but thanks TS for the hint mistakenly given to us almost a year ago. It helped narrow the position down but we still had a chuckle once we'd found this. Another good hide in a great position that allows for us to look without fear of being watched by neighbours - although the cars stuck in traffic on Old Windsor Rd might have seen us if they'd looked (I think a fellow cacher might even have beeped at us.....)
What to do at 5:20am on a Saturday morning with the sun shining and the rest of the family sound asleep? Go geocaching of course!
A return to Iron rock was needed so I hopped on my bike and headed back to GZ.
This time around it just seemed to jump out at me and the 2nd thing I touched gave me CIH.
Another TS cache to tick off the list.

Arrived at gz expecting a long search but within 2 minutes something caught my eye and huzzah the cache was found. not a bad start to the afternoon
After Geoson and I spent close to an hour searching around we came up empty handed.
I am sure it was watching us all the time, we just did not have a caching eyes on today
We will be back, TFTH anyway TS

The ants were crawling up our legs and biting and geoson was freaking out so we gave up.

Feeling positive about the coordinates being updated and there being several recent finds where not too much trouble was had, I wandered back for a second attempt. The GPSr took me to a slightly different place and I looked confidently, because you must never let the cache know that you are afraid of not finding it.
After a while I was going over old ground and I think the cache was starting to sense it had won the battle. So I called upon the secret weapon used by cachers across the land: the PaF. With expert guidance I was going to win this battle, so I stood, and repositioned, and repeated what had been done before, but still no cache. More information followed but I still couldn't make the find - the PaF had ended. The search went on until finally, the cache gave itself up.
The log was dry, plenty of room left to sign, accurate to description - everything perfect really. Except it's a very tricky hide! Thanks TS for more of your good work.

I'd heard about this tricky TS hide so paid it a visit after a meeting nearby. I thought I knew where to avoid so focussed on other possiblities. It was raining and I soon had muddy hands. I stopped to think and used a natural brush to get rid of some of the mud. Magically, that action caused the cache to literally jump at me. What a welcome sight. Somedays good luck comes along. Nice work TS, thanks.
I'd had this on my watch list for a long time and it looked like rather a tricky one. Having spent a lot of time at Bella Vista Bison recently I thought I'd give this a go and see if I could get inside the head of the CO. I had a slight inkling of what this would be and amazingly made the find in about a minute. This is from someone who occasionally logs the first ever DNF on a cache with 50 finds! Signed and replaced. I can see why this is so hard though.
Now to get that pesky BVB!
Thanks!

My PAF is on her way to help me find this cache but I ended up finding it all by myself before she got here. Tricky hide wasn't what I was looking for and well done in finding it at night Snoopy and Casper. After a DNF months ago in the dark, I came back during the day to have another go. I parked and walked towards GZ. Once there I started searching and from memory I was checking areas the CO said would yield some results...Hmmm....nothing... Then I re read some past logs, and realised the location had been move and new cords where in place. Hmmm again...
So I battled on and with not being able to get a reply from the CO, managed to get a hold of another cacher, who explained to me exactly what I knew, I was in the right area! With a little help, I was able to narrow down the search and sure enough found the cache. OMG, this could be a tough find for some! Clever use of what you can see at GZ Team Sunderland I SL and replaced again. This gets a FAV as well. TFTC.

Even with help from the CO I could not find this cache. What I did find was 2 armfuls of farmers friends! Got too dark and muggle activity was increasing. Looking too sus in the bush with my torch.

This was a lengthy search today. I failed dismally alone, so I pafed Canary. No luck with his obvious clues, mmmmm it was hot and muggy, so I gave up. Then later on during the day I pafed the CO about another cache, and he offered to meet me later here to finally put this one to rest, oh... so not in the obvious spots! Thanks Rob and crew.
Did a cache check this Arvo all good it's a little bit harder to find, good luck!!!!
I needed a Phone-A-Friend to find this one. But, finding one who has found this proved difficult!?!
After extensive clues and ten minutes I was no closer to finding it and declared it muggled. My Phone-A-Friend siad that would be very unlikely! After hanging up I spotted it straight away!

This might have been day 17 in my short geostreak, but it wasn't to be. Spent a fair time here pondering how it might be hidden, and even tried PAF. I thoroughly checked out two nearby objects, one that looked like it belonged and another that looked like it didn't, but turned up nothing. Thanks TS, I'll have to wait for another time.
PS - my PAF hasn't actually searched for this yet but hey, it seems like the thing to do nowadays!

Bad to try this in the night. I gave it a go, but failed. Hmmm...wonder what the camo could be???
I have been unable to cache much recently and decided to head out today and find a few Team Sunderland caches.
I had an idea of what I should be looking for at this cache so I told the kids to look for *&^%*& but after looking here and looking there we decided to sit and wait for the GPS to settle. We looked all over where GPS said GZ was but found nothing.
I finally gave in and used a PAF and once we were pointed in the general direction it was slap in the face time and the kids were laughing because it was what I had told them to look for.
Even though cache was not at GZ it was certainly within the required parametres - oh the possibilities!
Thanks TS for the very simple yet very effective hide.

Finally managed to get a bit more caching in and came back to this one. Geodaughter spotted it pretty quickly.
Came along to this one with sidoney and co., we managed to find it together fairly quickly thanks to reluctant geo-professional Ellie!
Tried Iron Rock again, spent nearly an hour last time, so I knew not to look over same ground as being thorough in my search before. Was told to expand my search, and Knowingly I allowed only 20 mins here this mourning, had to get a wiggle on.
The rockery has changed since I was here last and makes me wonder, we would make bad either gold prospectors or CSI agents. O.K, where can I sink a shaft? So I can mine for a geocache. Do I peg it out, gather waypoints of the pegs, submit lease notice to mine, to the lands department? Picks, pans, shovels, I will need. Was about to fence off an area to make a start to the shaft when spotted something and wouldn't you know it. Here it is, so beautiful as the light glistened off it. At close inspection it won't make the riches I deserve, so signed log and realized there's no ounce nuggets to be found here. So will have to sink a shaft elsewhere.

Arrived at the iron rock but my GPSr said I needed to go further, another 7m. Did a quick check of the drain cover without success so decided to trust the coordinates and made my way to GZ. I searched an ever widening area but no luck for me this time. This won't beat me. I'll be back for another go!
We parked in the car park & made our way to GZ...before geohusband even had a chance to put the iPhone away geowife says found it...had the caching eyes on this morning...T4TC

I returned here today with my geo-wife to assist in the search for this cache. After 30 minutes searching and even expanding our search area it was time to PAF and even then we continued searching until my geo-wife came across the cleverly hidden cache, another micro to her credit, thanks.
Had conformation that the coords are to 2 1/2 to 3 mtrs from a finder plus I took 10 waypoint averages on the Magellan when placing ,I thought it was about time I put out a toughie!
Have fun cheers.

Too tricky for us today. We searched obvious and less obvious places but the heat got to us in the end and we called it a day. Normally we rely on TS's excellent coords to help but GPS was jumping about and aerial photo is old so difficult to use, which made things a bit harder. We'll regroup, think about it, and return.
I arrived at GZ around 2pm and spotted a cacher sitting at was to be GZ, Well after a combined Hour search of the GZ area with dkmacca, I had a small clue from the C/O and with that we spent an extra 30 mins before I said "Got it" and that I did! with a big grin from dk we found the fresh new log.....Hmmm Yep this is my 3rd ***FTF*** for the day.
We completed the paperwork, returned the little fella back safe and rang the C/O for a larff.
Great to see other cachers out today and bumping into DK for a second time.

FTF with Steveishere. Arrived at GZ and the place was empty of muggles and cachers. Started searching the most likely places and taking in the hint. After about 15 minutes of looking, steveishere shows up. Got talking about various things and where one would hide something here. After a call to CO about a extra hint, we had a little bit more info about what to look for. Steve searched one side while I searched the other and then we swapped sides and continued searching with steve coming up with the goods. Sneaky hide TS, I did search there before when I arrived.

So a quick walk across the park and there is thr same person again but parking at the nearby park entrance.. and we both walked to the same location .. ahh nice to meet you jkcourtz. My Tom Tom led me to a nearby street and after I started to walk I noticed that there was closer parking, so I drove around and used the car park at the park. By this this time there was another person walking across the playing field also closing in on the one location. It was The Trixter and after a chat we set about searching for this cache which eluded us today. I will be back!
