The best tree is all fenced off for the construction of the new Lismore Gallery, due to open in 2017. Until the fence comes down we'll leave this one disabled, as there is no access to GZ.
Thanks for cleaning it up, Team Benders. We'll enable it, as it seems to be functional again, but will try to get in for a location check and new container ASAP.
Came to Lismore for an Event tomorrow and stayed nearby.
Last one for the day.
Dark now.
Headed to this one.
Group of hippy people climbing the tree to look at the full moon.
Wondered where we had come to?
Watched them going up and down.
They were not worried with what we were doing.
Looked in one spot and I found a lid and some glass.
Located the cache.
Cleaned out the boiled lollies and cotton bud and put log book which I signed in a new baggie.
Rehid back where we found it with camo.
Just needs glass cleaned up.
TFTC Thanks Gourmetgazelle All good with this cache

Third time lucky. Needed a quiet moment to look again.
Stinky nailpolish inside. Yuk.

Hi WilcoxWeirdos,
We're so sorry about your very dodgy find at our cache. We've temporarily disabled it and will try to revive it this week. Now that it's been muggled and someone seems to be using it as a secret "cache", the replacement might not last, but we'll try it.
Our apologies again,
Gourmetgazelle

Beautiful tree. The cache had some crap in it which is s real shame.......used cotton buds, boiled lollies.
Got excited to see a good size container and then were completely horrified by the contents?! My 4 children got to see marijuana for the first time... some idiot has put a little baggie of it in there along with nail polish that also looks to be laced with the stuff? To top it off there is a used cotton bud covered in some gross individuals ear wax??? consequently we TNLN!
Please look at this cache and up the quality of the contents cos I sure don't wanna touch it again!

Found at 10:15 AM GAFF1.
What's this! A city location and it's not a micro That's all we have found so far, so it was a welcome relief to find something a bit larger - also meant that we didn't have to hang around too long and attract unwanted attention.
This tree is quite interesting, but that "Poet" one is even better I think.
Thanks Gourmetgazelle.

Having nice day out geocaching with Wandering Me and her geofamily. Nice to find a cache in this spot.

This is certainly is a lovely tree. We found the cache and wondered how it stays in place. SL TFTC
Took a little searching, but then I tried to look at things from a different angle and found it. TFTC
Argh. What a nightmare that could have been avoided if we just had x-ray vision.
We had the whole family on this one until Gmccul finally spotted. Kids were having a grand time climbing about the tree during the search and were excited to see a cache with some good swaps!

This one took some finding! The geokids were high up into the tree when we finally spotted this one after a lengthy search.
Yay some good swaps!

Took us two go to find, a bit tricky. Lots of spots to check. Don't be fooled by the fence.
I had to come down to Lismore today to finalise my mothers estate and saw this one on the map that I hadn't done yet. Being in the middle of town it was in a convenient spot.
I parked in Lismore Central and headed off to find the cache while my semi-muggle daughter went to have a look in a book store. Luckily it stopped raining and after a couple of laps of the tree I spotted the cache. While I was signing the log I managed to drop the lid over the fence so after retrieving it I tried replacing the cache from the other side. I couldn't quite reach so back I went to the same side I'd originally reached it from and managed to replace it.
This tree certainly does have an interesting root system.
Dropped off Mon Chat travel bug.

Nice big tree. Took longer than it should of. Lots of muggles and spiders. TFTC
The cache is next to the Lismore conservatory. While my son was busy there, I had a go to this cache.
Nice tree, indeed, I came from France to see it, on a visit to my son at Rock Valley.
Merci pour la cache Gourmetgazelle.

Found it with Lismore girl guides! A fun lil activity to do, with mum and friends…

A year between road trips had kestal and I felt in need of another. We left toowoomba at 4am and arrived at Ballina just after 5:30pm. Woah, 13 and a half hours of caching...
We pulled up and noted the rubbish round the tree. Made the quick find. TFTC

Road trip day one with angloj saw us travelling from Toowoomba, leaving at 4am and arriving at Ballina 13 and a half hours later. We found caches all along the way and we finally arrived in Lismore just before 3.
This was our second find in Lismore and what a massive tree it was. I was a little hesitant in searching with all of my 8 legged friends but the size of the container certainly helped making this a quick find for us. TFTC Gourmetgazelle

Yep it sure is a magnificent tree. Lismore is turning out to be quite an interesting place. TFTC. No trackables found.
Mr Gap was a bit slow off the mark for this one, but it was soon in hand for me TFTC
On arrival I prepared myself for a long and methodical search. Ms Wig read something in the hint that I didn't think about and she had it quite quickly.
Nice tree, thanks Gourmetgazelle

#107 Found this a long time ago when I first started geocaching I think I found this two years ago for my first piano exam up again for my 3rd piano exam anyway TFTC
On the way back from Gold Coast, going to Canberra decided to take a more inland route because of the roadworks happening on the main motorway.
Wow it was busy around here, but lucky the tree provided me with lots of cover while I made the grab. I thought I was up for a long find, but lucky the cache is quite big and I got lucky with one of the first places I looked!

During our wonderful holiday in Australia we found this cache together with Mowgli.

Visiting family for the week trying to get a lot of yellow smilies. Lots of muggles but none seemed to take much notice of us. Great tree. Tftc
What a fantastic tree to be found in the middle of town. The hide was quite tricky but I managed it. A police car pulled up as I was searching but took no notice of what I was doing. Passers bye also took no notice except one halfwit who advise that I could use the toilets at an hotel down the road. TFTC
Impressive roots! And definitely the kind of tree that's better searched with friends. The Marble came up with the find this time, and lucky she did as I think I'd taken the hint too literally and might not have looked where she did. I'm also glad not to have tried it at night, not just because of spiders, but the number of bottles around suggest it's a popular local drinking spot. Our search was accompanied by a rock band practicing in the building behind us, adding a touch of entertainment to the hunt. TFTC, Gourmetgazelle. =^.^=
Exploring the area on a birthday trip away for the long weekend. That is certainly a fine specimen. We were serenaded by a band practicing in the building across the carpark as we searched. Cache was found safe and dry. TFTC, Gourmetgazelle.
Yay! I didn't start on the wrong side for a change so it wasnt long before we had the cache in hand. Safe and dry. Thanks Gourmetgazelle.
Yep! This is a doozy of a tree alright. Didn't take too long to find but was lucky we started looking where we did though, could have been there for ages doh!

Hard to find a muggle free time here but was very quiet this arvo. Parked right under tree & wandered around till I spotted it. Nifty hide.
Found this cache and met another couple of geocachers. That is always a great experience, to meet other cachers 'in the field'. Nice to have met you today Allaces33 and then Hildz. Found the cache safely hidden away and all was in good order. Thanks Gournetgazelle for the hide and the smilie [^][^] Picked up one trackable and Allaces33 picked up the other.
Found early this morning. No sign of some of the inventory but added a travel bug picked up from NZ and hoping to do some more travel through Aust.
Went just on dusk, waited for a car to leave and within three minutes we sighted it. What a magnificent tree - left a wee magic item.

With 8 pairs of eyes, some better than others this one didn't take too long to seek out.

MrsG loves trees so this was a great place to put a cache. We arrived with plenty of help. Noo82, albibops, rainbow dash, xMagoo2u, Misfortune101 and geokids all converged on GZ. No chance of this cache remaining hidden with so many searchers but MrsG was happy to be the one to find it. TFTC Gourmetgazelle.
Fantastic specimen of a tree , we are curious how old it is . Searched in the dark without curious eyes being able to see us prodding around the massive root system. Found after systematically working our way around 2/3's of the girth.

Out and about this morning finding the last few caches in town before heading home.
I am back this morning for another look.
A quick find here this morning.
As others have mentioned the cache has a hole in it. I have a similar container in the car, so I swapped containers. The new container is green.
Thanks for the cache.

Out and about today heading to Lismore. And now I am here.
Around and around I went. I even had a local ask if I was looking for the gps thing ... and then he walked off not telling me a thing.

After leaving the Stanthorpe Mega, my plan was to log a cache in each town I passed through on my way home - and as this one had the most favourites, it got the gong.
I did a quick scout around GZ and headed in for where I hoped the cache was, and came up with the goods.
A fav point from me - both for the location, and the hide not being a nano!
