Logs
Needed to get a few things done in Ipswich, which left with me with some free time to cache ...Also, my geodog Scruffy wanted to do some caching as well All Good .. TFTC ..
After a few days of caching at Lake Somerset, were now heading to the Gold Coast for a couple of nights before we leave the sunshine behind and head home to Melbourne.A quick pit stop to grab a cache in a new LGA turned out to be not such a quick find. The GPS wasnt cooperating, but we got there in the end. Thanks Hiltonclan for the excuse to stretch our legs.
GPS was all over the place here today so just looked everywhere until we uncovered the well hidden cache . Had to clean all the mud off first before accessing the logbooks inside. Sadly, the logbook has deteriorated to a pulpy mess so placed a new log in. TFTC
Made our way along beside the creek to GZ where our GPS couldnt decide where it wanted us to start looking. We had to check a number of options before finding the correct one. After extracting the cache, we cleaned all the mud off, then used a hook to pull the old sodden mushy log out before popping a new one in. Thanks Hiltonclan
After dragging myself out of bed, feeling like my caching abilities may be inhibited by the dreaded lurgy that i've picked up, I grabbed a couple of close-ish FTF's (that's been a while since I claimed some FTF's) Thinking maybe some outdoors and sunshine will do me some good.. however after only a couple of quick'ish and easy'ish caches i noticed by energy dwindling so grabbed this one and headed on home as much as my geo-pup disagreed. Log book full, needs replacing.. I didn't have the write type of log in my stash so wasn't able to replace (sorry). Found a little spot to sign. Thanks for the find.#813
Nice little bush walk found cache however couldnt sign as needs attention as water damaged.

I had no intention of coming here today but I took a wrong exit off the highway and found myself driving right past this cache. I found a park nearby and headed down to the creek. After looking in a few likely spots I soon unearthed the cache. I sorted through all the various logs and then reassembled them to fit back into the cache. At some point I must have dropped my glasses, which I didn’t realise until later in the day and when retracing my steps I found them here beside the creek. So I have unintentionally visited this place twice today! Thanks for the cache Hiltonclan.
Couldn't find it, the area is too overgrown to safely navigate as there is many spider webs and foliage.
I couldn’t find this one
Walked into 3 spider webs and couldn’t access the creek that easily. I’ll come back to this another time.

During our recent stay in Ipswich we found this cache and signed the log.

I parked on a back street and walked in along the path for a quick find. Thanks for the cache
Today, a late plan was made to hike to Flinders Peak, and walk a circuit via Mount Blaine. Flinders Peak was an enjoyable and well-trodden track up, however, Mount Blaine was a steep rock scramble and a morale challenge. I then took the opportunity to visit various geocaches in the Ipswich area, which included South Ripley, Swanbank, Flinders View, Eastern Heights, and finally Brassall. Highlights included the Box Flat Memorial, Limestone Park, and Haig Street Quarry Bush Reserve.
My last cache of the night, and I was going past this location that I thought I would quickly pull over and make a walk to GZ. Quite the nice/cute creek nearby too. After a few minutes of looping around GZ, I soon spotted the cache, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. The logbook is looking a little busy however, so it may need a fresh replacement soon. Thanks Hiltonclan for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

In the area for an event and some local caches with chamad. We were making our way towards the Ipswich area and stopped in here.
A quick find here, after signing the log we were on our way.
Thanks Hiltonclan for placing and maintaining the cache.

Out today with Willis007, it was going to be a short day of caching. We had an event and some caches to grab around the Ipswich and Fernvale areas. The plan was to first stop at the event and then work our way back to home via a few fun caches. We did have a fun day, first the event and then it was a drive around Ipswich and Brassall looking at caches.
We got a few good caches and got to chase a few butterflies along the way. This was a great cache to find, we laughed at the new addition to the area, not realising what lay beneath, lol. We signed the log and replaced the cache as found, then headed onto the next cache in the area. Thanks for the cache and hide, all good with this one.

Very chuffed to find this one. With previous comments thought it may be gone found with TaurusTracker
After 3 attempts, I could not find it. Might have been muggled or taken away by the recent flooding, but I could not personally find it. The gps location is also teleporting around and is not giving me an exact location.
So bushy, hot and itchy in there, we tried but no luck today. Not sure whether to look up or down
This was the first find with a new generation of geocachers! Three of my sons are now geocacher chasers!!
Visiting from Townsville and exploring the area. Thanks for placing the cache for our enjoyment.
Tftc!
Found with geohubby on our way home from our 11th anniversary epic road trip of 4500kms to Cape Tribulation.

Little difficult for the kids, wasn’t any treasure but we left something next to it
After getting the right gz we found quickly. There is not much room left in log but I was able to squeeze my name in there. Thank you for bringing us here
hard to find and loads of scary spiders on the way but loved that there are as leaves on it so you would think it couldn’t possibly be there but all out it’s amazing
Out with Mr CuriousQuest, finding a few caches. I found a safe place to leave the geomobile and wee took a pleasant stroll to GZ. There, the cache was soon located and the log signed. TFTC
Out and about today with Selva Girls to pick up some caches today. A nice quick find log signed and caches returned as found. TFTC
