The only goose around today was me! It was only appropriate that I came up with the goods here very quickly I might add. Lovely spot. TFTC
Found while down here on holidays from Queensland visiting the Tassie in-laws over the Christmas period.
I was visiting this park after a few other caches so grabbed this one at the same time.
It was a nice area for a walk and I saw plenty of ducks today.
TFTC.

I looked all over the place and then found the cache. It was there all along.

Enjoyed our walk around this area. I too, almost sent the cache flying into the pond. TFTC!
Tftc. quick to find a little tricky to extract. Nearly lost cache in pond. Nice stroll. Monsynip
Re-logging this (temporarily) as DevLyn1 so we can "flip the switch" between our joint user accounts (Tardis & DevLyn1). Same visit...
I enjoyed the walk to this cache & the environs immensly. Had I known of recent happenings I may not have even bothered coming. However, all was good with no evidence of any evil deeds. The icing on the cake was an excellent hide awaiting me in a lovely spot to do the signing. Full marks choppersrule.

Agreed, It is not your fault Max, but it surely it doesn't take up to a week to be noticed. I am just lucky I didn't see it for myself or my geodog Charles as we used to take him up for a swim. Lucky we found another place to take him.

Be warned about the horrific animal cruelty incident near GZ. Probably been removed but just incase it hasn't... According to last log, it was there 5 days ago, why was it not reported then???
My apologies for my entry of 4th Jan. I would not have so commented had I known that the dog carcase was the result of animal cruelty. I am horrified at the event that lead to the death of this lovely animal. Some b.......... s don't deserve the air that they breathe. No penalty is enough for the perpetrator.
Like this park, nice walking trails as well. Nifty hide, container works well with the camo.
Army men tas has not signed the log!
3 star difficulty?? I had cache in hand in seconds. Never mind more time to enjoy the surrounds.

A lovely walk in a park we'd never visited before today. Tried once, from the wrong angle, and ended up in mud to our ankles on the wrong side of the duck pond. Google mapped it and came at it from the right direction this time. Sometimes a straight line is not the best course! TFTC
Not many ducks today! A nice place to close your eyes and listen to the sounds of nature. Another cool cache hide. TFTH ★
Great time out with the family. DR JAMES, SMELLY BELLY 8 and JABs Had a lot of fun and it was a very lovely day. Gained lots of fantastic memories and visited some cool places. This was part of my geocaching scouting challenge.

Out caching Dad does not have a phone like Mums and has to log later. We all had fun.
Found on our geocaching scouts challenge. Was a fun day out with the family JABs pE and Dr J. We sore lots of different areas and lots of different types of caches.
24 August 2013 08:47:49 We enjoyed the view on the return trip from this one. Smelly belly 8 came up with the goods for this one. Has been a large amount of water in the area of late. The grass reeds remind me of another cache.

All the rain made even the paths quite wet under foot but ducks love that sort of thing! We were having fun too!
Thanks for the cache choppersule

This cache is in a really lovelly spot. The ducks came to say hello, as did a native hen, who may have been playing the role of "goose". The cache was located quickly in what I thought was the obvious spot. When I tried to get it out it fell in the water, but I retrieved it quickly and it is waterproof, so all is well.
This one was sneaky, good idea, like how the homemade container interacts with the hide. The ducks even came over see what was going on and to help with the search. TFTC
Yay! Returned tonight in the very cold, and found the now familiar container indicative of the CO's favourite beverage, I presume ... TFTC and its timely replacement!
Very nice walk i only live a few minutes away and didnt realise how nice this little walk was , nice and easy find
Initially we set off for this cache from the wrong carpark, and after creating lots of faeries from the bullrush stalks, I shifted the car to the correct carpark. After a quick find on Remember Peter, we took the pleasant stroll to the ponds. Found lots of ducks and coots, but neither Geese nor caches.
The camouflage mentioned in other logs was found, but not in place (photographed for the owner should you want to check on the cache without visiting it - PM me), so I fear this one may be lost ...

This one looked interesting so we headed over. We saw a few rabbits on arrival and then the bird life. We made our way on the short path to the bridge and put our had on the cache first go. We signed the log overlooking the peaceful still ponds and then re hid. TFTC
A quick find and then stood on the bridge and watched the ducks. They obviously get plenty of feed from visitors as they were hanging around. A top spot but the water on the way to cache was a bit sewerage smelling in places. Thanks.
Hi choppersrule
Having never been along this road nor in this park before; it was an enjoyable afternoon sojourn.
As I approached GZ, the ducks said ...ck ie qua... and disappeared onto the pond.
All good with the cache; signing the log at 1520hrs.
TFTC, the pleasant walk and a quick find
Cheers OldSaint.

This was an interesting adventure for my geokid and myself. After discovering a great dog exercise area, we moved on a little further down the road to the right carpark. We found the cache (a little concerned about the cover on this - the cache container does not fit inside it and I fear the container will fall into the scrub over the fence). Log signed and all good. On our trip back to the car however we encountered a huge snake and it hissed at us. Took me 15mins to extract geokid from the nearest tree! Once we had recovered from our fright we tried another cache close to the car park. Standing under that tree, a bull ant fell from above right onto her clothing. In a panic we quickly took off her top and avoided being bitten.
There is another cache in this area to find yet - but I doubt that I'll get geokid to come back here with me!
All things to remind us that we share our caching environment with all kinds of critters!

The cap disguising this container is all warped and can no longer accommodate the container. Cache risks being lost over the fence.
Elcato 20/12/12 tftc haha nice tricky hide there!! No muggles around except for the ducks!! Didn't have pen with me to log
In absolutely beautiful weather it was a very pleasant walk to GZ. The reserve was looking in excellent condition. As we approached GZ numerous ducks swam towards us but as we had no food for them, they went back to their other activities. However there wasn't a goose, one even one, in sight. Hence we could not play "Duck, Duck, Goose". After a short hunt, the cache was located, retrieved and log signed. The cache and contents were in good condition. TFTC choppersrule and for bringing us back to this reserve - the growth in just two years since our previous visit is very noticeable.
Hi Choppers Rule
Gee this cache gave me some trouble. I found it quick enough, but getting it back into it's hiding place took quite a while. All was completed before returning to the car.
When I arrived at GZ there were two ducks and something else standing on the road...... I took a photo. I don't think it was a goose, maybe that was me?

An excellent occasion- noone around and weather is kind. First find for me for the new style container. TFTC
Clever hide and a lovely park. Thanks choppers gang for organising the cache.
Woo Hoo *FTF* @ 18:45hrs. Thank goodness for day light savings more daylight for caching. Made a quick find and surprised to find a blank sheet. TFTC
A bit late with this one as I am just getting around to catching up on finds. Locating Remember Peter first made this one quite an easy find. It was obviously the only place it could be. TNLN. TFTC!
