Today we looked for Reflection on our travels. We tried, we failed.
Thanks Poiter.h & kindly maintained by the greynomads for being part of our geocaching fun.

I double checked my coords after the first search. I am confident I know what the cammo is. Can the CO check this please and perhaps make it a little more obvious. It seems a shame to be upturning every rock in a memorial garden for a 1.5 D. Unless I have missed something...

Our aim for the day was to pick up some caches while working our way in towards Lakes Entrance, with ilook4geo. We had a mixture of traditionals, multis and puzzle caches on the list as well as a lengthy walk to do. It was a good day and we had a fair pick up.
After working out the new co-ords, we started searching and had a particular type of camo in mind. After some careful checking this proved to be correct. It did not take too long to find and all was put back as it had been found before the caching hunt went on. Thanks go to Poiter.h for placing this cache and to greynomads for maintaining it.

Went on a fun caching trip today with goingplaces2. Enjoyed finding a variety of cache types with some taking a bit longer than others to locate. This was one of our successes for the day. Log was signed, all replaced, job done! TFTC.
Amazing, we looked for ages here, then went away and did a multi up the road. When we got back and out of the car we walked back to where we thought it should be and low and behold there it was. Cache blindness, my excuse.
Thanks Poiter.h for the placement here, a great spot to highlight the local services.

I stopped in and did the calculations,Im sure I was at the right spot given the geotrail but after a short scan the cache didnt want to reveal itself and I needed to move on.
Thanks anyway

This one proved trickier than it probably should’ve been. We searched for a considerable time then gave up and went and found some other geocaches. On our way back past we stopped again reworked the coordinates to make sure we were correct which we were then started searching again. We were close to giving up when I spotted what we were looking for
We enjoy a Multi-cache and so we stopped off to search for this one. We soon found the numbers required at the waypoint given and then after having worked out what was required and with our GPS updated with the corrected co-ordinates we searched around and a few minutes later the cache was spotted. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
Yay Found.... Good multi.... Great enjoy trip to here from countryside..
Easy spot, sign the log with 63ROOS... Thanks

Sums recalculated and the Cache is ready to found again.

Unfortunately no luck, posts in the CFA have all been replaced so not sure if that affects the hide and point of 'reflection '.
I've received information that the final GZ has been compromised.
I'm disabling until I can sort it out.

The long weekend was here and it was time for fitzy_1965 and I to head down to Vic in the geo-unit for an epic geomission We had a great time camping, cruising around admiring the beautiful scenery and nabbing LOTS of caches! A great weekend of quality caching all round!
Nope...no joy for us here. Coords for GZ put us at a location that appears to have been replaced.
Thanks anyway, Poiter.h

OOOPPPPSSSS - sorry for this very late log. I've just realised I didn't get around to logging it when I found it. Thanks for this cache Poiter.h and Greynomads
A good little spot for a spot of reflection about how volunteers help communities
A clever little cache hide too
One that kept me guessing for a while,
until I put a bit more effort into finding it

Day 11 in Australia with Junkys.
Time to come back to Melbourne. Last day, we drived from Sydney to Narooma, and today from Narooma to Lakes Entrance.
Of course, we do some caches on the way.
Mostly, the caches were found without difficulty, thanks to all the owners for their work.

Our last cache of the day.
Quick multi and nice surprising container on final !
Thank you Poiter.h for the cache and greetings from France.

We had the good idea of the camo from the first stated ... but on the spot, after the calculations, we had to come back three times on our idea to finally have the logbook in hand.

Celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary in this beautiful area with family from USA, NZ and Geelong. Took some thought before we mastered this one. TFTC.
After going home and "reflecting" on this one we came to the sudden realization that we had missed the hint and overlooked the cache. We came back today to avenge the DNF and were rewarded! Gets a fav for being a very clever hide. Thanks for the challenge!
This was a nice surprise then a disappointment. We were happy to solve the location of GZ but sadly no cache was located there. We found an obvious geopile with no cache, leading us to believe that it was gone. Thanks for sharing this story with us. Greetings from Washington, DC.
Great hide very interesting have never stopped here before tftc thanks for bringing us here found with apple460
Found while on an impromptu roadtrip with CT_ZA, taking the scenic route from Melbourne to Canberra.
We took a break here, where it's great to see the community recognizing the volunteers who selflessly do so much for others.
Thanks Poiter.h and greynomads - I enjoy these offset multis.

Nice multi which did not take too long. Would have been shorter if I had worn my glasses and read the numbers correctly. Thanks for an interesting cache.
Nice stop in between showers and although we messed up twice we were still able to make the find. An enjoyable cache thank you.
We decided to head down to Gippsland for the Easter long weekend: a great excuse to go caching a little further away from home.
Found this cache on our leisurely Sunday drive around Lakes Entrance.

We got them numbers of the plaque and sat in the car while we worked out where we needed to go. As GZ wasn't to far away we walked there and soon had a spot we thought the cache would be. It took us quite some time to extract the log and after we did so we performed some minor repairs and it should now be good to go for the next finder.

An interesting memorial beside the fire shed. Completed our calculations. GPSr was a bit unstable, so rested on a nearby post. Carefully examined the item that the device was pointing at. Poked and prodded looking for something loose. Reconsidered and then noticed something that was different to the rest and the little blighter was in hand. Excellent hide! SL. Log in good condition.

On our way to Lakes Entrance so we pulled in. We sat in the car not on the seat as it was pouring with rain. Worked out gz and off we went to a clever hide. TFTC
Third find the day on our Lakes Entrance holiday. After doing the calculations and then finding my numbers were wrong, the cache was found after a few minutes. Log needs a bit of love but unfortunatly we didnt have a spare with us today that would have suited this type of hide. A nice camo. TFTC Poitr.h
A quick find as we wound up our day. Respect to the men and women of the CFA who put their lives on the line for others. Thanks for the cache.
Took a little while to find this one as we all wandered too far away, but the geowife came up Trumps after one of our group dismissed this hide. Tftc
We arrived at Lakes Entrance today and were keen to get out caching. In particular Bruce wanted to get the puzzle caches done that he had been working on. The area is a lovely area to cache in, so scenic. This was one we targetted and found. We were happy to meet by chance on the pedestrian bridge local geocachers Grey Nomads, always great to meet with like-minded people. It was also our arranged meeting place with LazzaL who we are friends with from the Sunshine Coast Queensland, good to be out caching with them again. What a great multi, fav point alloc. Thanks to Poiter.h.
Work this cache out about a year ago.
I didn't come back this way until today.

What a neat camo. Have seen this type of hide before however still enjoyed the search. Especially relevant in this instance. TFTC Poiter.h
Doing some caches in the Lakes area on my way back to Melbourne (yes, this is further away from Melbourne but when hunting caches, who cares!!!!) Parked at the published coords and found the information required quickly. I then had a sensible looking set of coords for GZ which wasn't far away so left he car in the shade and walked. Spent quite a bit of time hunting, another classic case of the cache as in the first place I looked, just not the first time I looked! Thanks to poiter.h for this one.
An interesting little memorial, and definitely worth stopping for, and spending some time reflecting on. We guessed where the cache was as we approached GZ as we'd done another one not too long ago in another place. SL Thanks poiter.h for the cache.
A quick multi, and a great hide
It was very wet inside after all the rain we have had, I put another piece of paper in there rather than trying to unroll a very wet piece of paper, hopefully it dries out if it doesn't it will need a little TLC

A very clever hide. Would never have stopped here to look at the plaque. Workmen were enjoying morning tea when we first pulled up so had to come back. Found with taurus1955. TFTC
We wanted to give this one a favourite but thought it might be a bit cheeky for a pair of Old Farts who like Drive By's.
Well done, we like this style of cache.

In the area for a cache check-up so called in for a hunt. Nicely put together multi. Thanks Poiter.h for the hide.
Yay - found it today. Great cache and a very clever idea. Thanks Poiter.h for bringing me to yet another interesting place in the Lakes Entrance/Lake Tyers area.
Very nice!!!! Had us searching around for a fair while. Fifth cache for the day thanks we thoroughly enjoyed it!
# 5518 Found on the way around Lakes Entrance checking out the sights.
Nice and quiet and no muggles around while I was here.
Another devilish hide, that does take a bit of thought to find.
I have seen a similar hide, but this one is far better and will elude many.
I am glad I am in this log book and wonder how many will need to PAF to find this.
Thanks for the cache Poiter.h,
Roostaman.

Thought we had better cross this one off our list today as we didn't get a chance last time we were here. A nice easy multi (my favourite kind) and a lovely memorial. Very sneaky container, looks like you've put some serious effort in. Found with WyldMan92 TFTC
Found on our way to the cache owner's house for an evening drink. We had just heard the CFA siren blaring in Lakes Entrance calling the volunteer firefighters to 'man the pumps', just a few minutes earlier. We have to thank them for their dedication. A nice quick find due to excellent coordinates. Thanks Poiter.h

FTF yay! Found with Gonefishen07, Hearse068 and Thing No1. After figuring out the typo it was a quick find allowing us just enough time to be fashionably late for the event.

FTF with Gonefishen07, Thing no1 and Thing no2. Gonefishen07 got an email to say there was two new caches in the area as we were heading back into town to get ready for the event so it was a quick detour as this one had not been logged yet. We had driven right past it earlier in the day if only we had known then. Worked out the coords but with a slight typo in the description (which has now been fixed) we were headed for SA so we sat back and had a think about things and a few minutes later we had the right GZ worked out. Did not take long for me to find the cache in a place the Gonefishen07 had already looked. Great Hide Thanks Poiter.h for the First To Find on our girls weekend away.
Woohoo ftf with hearse068 thing no1 and thing no2. Hearse068 checked a spot I had had a quick look at, that will teach me for not looking properly. We did have to use our imagination as there is a slight error in the description which had us on the SA boarder. Hmmmm was thinking we would never get to the event if that is wherr we had to go. Anyway we worked it out and got ourselves a ftf and sorry we are going to be abit late to your event
