A really simple find on the only possible host in the area. It is pretty cool that a cache can be hidden in plain view and be ignored by so many people. Thanks Melvilla for placing this cache

### Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###This geocache has been brought to my attention as needing an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache. See the [GCHQ Health Score](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) process. It certainly needs to be checked by the Cache Owner. The cache owner needs to:* Take action to restore the cache or address issues such as correcting the D/T rating, or the posted coordinates.* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute that is present. Otherwise :* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary or provide other information. **Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this. That is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**. Alternatively:* Archive the cache and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by %CO% and to take it off the playing board to prevent further inconvenience to our Geocaching Community.[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been taken by the CO.If nothing has happened, I will conclude that the cache has been abandoned, and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache. *Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is in good condition and waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches. Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.Thank youBalayang -GeoffCommunity Reviewer

Team SIC- SirFancy, I C Nothing, Cirrus_wa are Joining forces to for a night of caching seeing. All caches found easily and in good condition. Thank you for placing

05-Jul-22
Talked about where the cache should be as we parked it initially turned away as we searched the wrong side needed to get the find, which we did after a reading what we were looking for.
• • • • •

Put the call out to see who was in for the nights adventure and joined up with SirFancy and I C Nothing (signing as SIC).
We started by heading to Freo to assist in snagging a tag for ICN before caching our way through to Parkwood and Canning Vale.
Along the way I was able to fill a JASMER spot and with a few extras on the way home helped SirFancy get to 3000.
A fun night resulted in me collecting 18 finds and 2 DNF’s.

No dogs out on a Sunday night, great hide! TFTC

04-Aug-21
The dogs were out making a fine uproar. Managed to access the cache between late afternoon traffic. Quite an exposed site and a bit unusual as it’s not hidden at all. Thanks melvilla for the cache.

04-Dec-20
Find 6 of 17 on a mountain bike ride around Canning Vale. We parked in the exact same spot as in October 2019 but such is the cache coverage around here, we never had to retrace our steps from that visit and could have cached all day and into next week! Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining these caches with special mention to PF for some quality puzzles and hides.

Mrs O dared to suggest she might be ahead in finds so far so Mr O put a sprint in to get to this one first and make a quick find. In your face Wink

TFTC melvilla!

We parked near the Dog place as we thought that would be the location. The GPS was pointing us to a place across the road.
We noticed the little nano a few seconds later.
Well placed and one of those things you notice as a Geocacher.
Thanks for the find.

Quite visible from afar to those who are looking. But blends in well to those who aren’t. The use of the drinking straw on the log made me smile. TFTC

Cache has been replaced. Woof woof!

11-Aug-19
going on previous logs from finders and the GZ being isolated from everything else and the string of DNFs, chances are it has been muggled.

Day 78 of our 366 day straight challenge.

With rain forecast for this morning I wanted a nice quick park and grab, so this was it. After parking with a couple of metres of the cache I was happy to find out I was just tall enough to reach it. Got our name on the log and replaced cache as found, with not a drop of rain in sight. TFTC melvilla Smile

04-Jul-18
An easy find tftc

30-Jun-18
Quick find here, log is a bit worse for wear, and is tearing in certain spots. TFTC

28-May-18
Patch was a little too vertically challenged to retrieve this one. Nano's "O" ring a little worse for wear and it's allowing a touch of water ingress but still very functional. Thanks for setting this wee baby up melvilla.

Thought I wouldn't reach it but I managed! The log was full without a tiny space to write on so I had to make do with what I had in the car, which was just the edge of an A4 piece of paper. I'm not sure if it'll hold up long term but will hopefully do for now!

11-Jun-17
Clever idea

15-Apr-17
Found it!

13-Apr-17
Out to show a girlfriend and her 2 daughters how to cache and had gone through the map near her home to get some very different caches so as they could see a variety of hides. The youngest daughter loved the challenge of getting this sneaky hide. TFTC melvilla:)

I apologise for the late posting of finding this cache (I have been sick and then completely forgot).

16-Jan-17
Thanks for the hide. Taking the opportunity to find a few caches in the area while my hubby attends a course nearby. Taking the opportunity to get a nearby cache to the star trek series and enjoy a moment in the air conditioning.

02-Jan-17
Drove to the cache, parked and the app dinged at us - we were only a few metres away so it was a quick park and grab. Log is very full but found a place to squiggle our name

We had been watching the grandkids play footy at the oval here and as we were leaving decided to have a look at the phone for nearby caches and.....wallah, we were right next to one. So out with the pen and go looking.
Good co-ords had us on to it quickly, we signed the log and moved on.

TFTC Had a few hours spare today so cravo10 and I decided to pickup a few odd caches around the joint.

We headed off to grab some of the Star Trek cache series near Nicholson road. I started the series some time ago and cherry picked the outside caches, leaving the middle ones, the "harder" ones for another day. Today was the day organised a small loop to pickup a few of the caches and with my back playing up again we left the last small leg of four for another day.

All caches were found in good condition with plenty of space left in the logs, a really nice well put together series here by granett. Well done mate

We then had some spare time and ducked down to grab the new cache in Seville grove which was tempting to try for FTF on last night but was too tired. Would have been great to see the FTF party but alas it wasn't to be.

Thanks

I was in the area today and decided to try tackle this cache. I had been here before, but I was unable to find the cache. Today, I found the cache in the first place that I looked. I mustn't have been looking in the right place last time.
melvilla, I found your cache ‘Who kept the dogs in?’ today. It was the second find of two finds (so far today) with zero DNF’s and brings my total count to 493. The cache was found in a good condition so I signed the log book and replaced it as I found it. Thanks for the hide.

05-Apr-16

A nice park and grab as I was out this way to get some caches from across the road but on second thoughts seeing as some things are still smoldering it's probably a bit dangerous for the kiddies.
