Great hide, was about to give up because the GPS was showing we had another 12m to go and couldn’t get any further (probably interference from the buildings).
Log was full and needs replacing.
TFTC! A great building.

17:25, 13 Jan 2018, #528, While out in this lovely area catching up with friends I decided to come and collect this on the way home.. I parked round the corner as there was no parks nearby and it was raining quite a bit so i had a quick look and bingo a park for me.. I then walked quite briskly to the front of the building as i had no rain coat.. haha... , once I arrived at GZ and had a look and think where and what.. then it appeared.. a great little sneaky hide... while being careful of muggles and a lady parking her car right out the front of where i am... i retrieved the cache.
I then went to sign the log sheet and its more than full but i did manage to find 2mm of space to scribble the date and my name...
The CO needs to come and change over the log sheet as its full full full...!!!.. TFTC.

Finally! I possibly looked dodgy trying various options and efforts to explore the improbable. Now seems obvious GRRR - BINGO!! THTC
My second attempt, but found it quite quickly this time. Very clever, great camo.
Some time to kill in the local area. Noticed this cache nearby so decided to have a go. Found when I decided to step just a little further to one side. Log sheet full. Tftc.
Took a second go, but managed to get my head around the clues... my phone was a. It sketchy on GZ which helped with the confusion. Thanks, this is the first one like this I have seen. No pen, so haven't added my name, maybe when I walk past another time.
OMG. Awesome disguise and one I was shocked by even after finding it. Still count myself as a newbie and probably grabbed at it a little to much in the open as I had no idea I was going to be right. Placed back without any bother - log is completely full.
24 August 2017. This was going to be my last hunt for the day, but as soon as I parked my car across the street I knew I might be out of luck. Lots of workmen around Lamama and there was scaffolding set up in the lane near where my iPhone said GZ would be. Then, one of the workmen chose to rest a spell on the steps of the courthouse, so that was a definite warning off.
I'll just have to come back when the work is done. Thanks for the hunt LouiseAnn.

I had a friends birthday at the Shaw Davey a couple of doors down and just had to get it. Quick and easy but incredibly clever. Thanks!
Anzac Day, in the middle of the city grabbing a few caches with only a few muggles about. Had us looking in close but not close enough for too long, then the geo son made this discovery from a different angle.
Thanks LouiseAnn for placing the cache for us to find.

Staying in Melbourne for about a week for some sport and of course some geocaching.
I was out and about exploring around the city and discovered lots of new great places.

I'm in Melbourne for the next month or so. My mate is in hospital for surgery, and I've come down as support for him and his wife for the procedure and its aftermath. I am getting ready for medicals myself, and am on a diet and a 10,000 steps a day regimen. What better way to make the steps interesting than to find geocaches along the way. This is the third one on my third caching day. Today I'm heading towards Carlton for caches. My mate has had his operation and it was successful. I was down this way yesterday, for food. Great hide. This is my third go at this one today - I've been muggled off it twice by people sitting at or near GZ, and not moving. I got it in the end. Thanks.
This was very tricky and I ended up needing to phone a friend for help.
Many muggles made retrieval and replacing difficult on a balmy Sunday afternoon.
As others have said, the log is full so I squished in.

Finally on our 3rd attempt and with a bit of help from VividRogers we have this one ticked off. It is always hard given the late rush hour time of day to find gaps between the foot traffic. As a previous logger mentioned, the space is running out...squeezed in the date and name. thanks again for this tricky one.

Looked for this last year and could ent find so glad to get a smiley here today tftc.
Found on a detour back to my accommodation while in Melbourne for a conference for a few days. Thanks for the challenging hide Dog-gone!
I needed to go is it this case the first time I stopped on my bike at GZ and there were some very suspicious looking tattooed, ciggie smoking muggles hanging out right at the spot. Decided to stop in on my way back instead. This time it was quieter and a with a brief muggle free window I spotted something that looked like it might fit the bill. I love this type of cache.. The replacement was a more difficult matter as suddenly there was a lot of muggle foot traffic suddenly probably wondering what the dude in lycra standing around trying to look nonchalant was doing! But eventually I found a quick window, made the replacement then pedalled off into the sunset! TFTC!
A quick look but given it was peak hour at night there were too many muggles. Best to come later...
#1185. Very few shops open on the afternoon of this Melbourne Cup Day. Very few muggles as well, very favourable conditions for me! This one nearly had me lost, but after ten minutes I reread the whole description. The newbie reference made the proverbial penny drop, which revealed the cache before my eyes. The log strip now is even fuller, with my nick on it. Thanks for a cool geocaching experience!
Very sneaky hide. Needed the clue. Log was full but signed it were I could. TFTC.
On our last Day in Melbourne looki and I decided to go on a last treasure hunt in the City. First we are visiting two ECs near our Hotel. Then we made a walk to the yarra river and found some tradis on our way. Really cool camouflage here!

Quite straightforward, when you grab at something and say the magic words "what's this??". It was literally that simple! Very clever!
Great hide. Found with Beelzebub and Keith. Is in need of a new log as old is full
In Melbourne for work today at St V's and I had an hour or two to spare before meeting so decided to nab a few caches. Really cleverly done cache - well done
We hit Melbourne tonight to use the cover of darkness and the late hour to access the city caches without the traffic jams and high muggle population to hold us back. With the McLookers knowledge of the city streets , we were chauffeured from cache to cache in a methodical manner until our list was depleted. The annoying rain didn't deter us either as we parked, searched, signed and got ready for the next one!
We thought this one was going to be tough being a Dog-gone cache but parked across the road we spotted it straight away.
Thanks LouiseAnn for keeping this one alive.

Me and Paddy3450 had a far search but no luck was wet cold and night time so might come back another time
Thought we'd try finding this cache while stopping in the area for our favourite ice cream at Pidepepo!! Unfortunately it was getting dark and we had no success
Out caching with floppyandjoe and Mr Platypus. joe of floppyandjoe found the cache. Very well hidden. Loved the camo. Thanks. Silkyie.
After our Planned Nova movie date was booked out, I introduced a friend to geocaching, and what a great one to start with!
After she constantly said, oh it must've gone, I kept replying, No it's just a hard one and we've got to think outside the box!
Eventually coming up with the goods with a very clever hide!
Tftc, I've got her hooked now.

I had to come back! I just had to! Focussed on an unintended decoy which I messaged the CO pictures of, suspecting an extraordinary camouflaged cache was broken, I didn't look for anything else, and as I was in a rush that day I didn't return later or examine longer. So decoy ruled out, and a little shopping trip to this area planned today (although the shop i was after sadly no longer exists) I came back to look again. This time I found it! Yay! No muggles on a smoko to wait for, or any other sort, I soon had the cache in hand. This morning I introduced a muggle to our game for a distraction from a bad week. I listened to her talk over a coffee and took her down the road for. Little treasure hunt fun, and it worked like a charm., she left for work much happier, with a promise she would look into it further with her kids.i hope one day she'll come over here and grab this one, a few digits on her "finds tally" having been as hooked as I have.
found today while on a visit to another close by cache, just had to think outside the box on this find, Thanks LouiseAnn for the hide and chance to find
A nice hide and I had a nice lady ask, "are you geocaching" I decided anyone who asked this is not a muggle (hopefully), so I replied "yes", her reply was, "I know where it is and you are getting warm", two minutes later it was solved.
I've turned up at GZ several times but each time was beaten by lack of time and/or passing (and staring) muggles. I also found out today I had been searching in the wrong direction when I should have been depending on what turned out to be a correct GPS signal. Sigh. Thank you for a sneaky cache.
I'd forgotten how busy Lygon st can be on a Friday night. On a rare child free night we had decided to head in to an old haunt for dinner. After putting our name on a waiting list to be called for dinner we wandered across the road to a well known coffee establishment where I had to take a number to order and then another number to pick up our coffee. Amongst all this waiting I decided to put some of the time to good use by searching for a nearby cache. I was a bit wary though after noticing the creator of the nearest hide having spent quite a bit of time looking unsuccessfully for some of his other caches. Fear about losing my spot in one of my numerous queues though must have guided my eyes because after checking some of the obvious spots and reading a few past logs I finally approached from the right angle and spotted the clever hide. Thanks for the cache.

Out on a morning cache trip with Buzzsmc. The plan was to head to Melbourne to find a DT that was needed for the matrix. We were almost done for our time up here this morning but wanted to grab a couple more. We had to wait out muggles and the police before I spotted something that I though just could be... And yes, bingo. Signed and returned as found.
**Thanks for this trad cache, Louise Ann.** [^]
**Log and container in good condition.**

Headed out from Geelong with na'wal this morning for an early morning cache run around Melbourne. All up we managed to avoid the traffic which made it easy to go snooping for hidden treasures the city has to offer. Managed. 9/10 for the morning. Can't wait to get back and grab some more intriguing finds.

We found this cache today at 12:15pm as number 4 of 14 on our No-one will be in the City Today because it's Good Friday as the Shops are Closed and How Wrong that Turned out to be Caching Afternoon. Every now and then, we stumble over a cache in this series and we did so today. A very nice hide. Thanks from D, HA, H & A B-A.
Wow! After 3 attempts, it was the geokid to the
rescue today. Once we expanded our search area and
she was clever to check some additional places
we found this very creative hide.
A Favourite.

While spending 16 months abroad, travelling through all states of Australia and also having a two months break in Thailand I did a lot of geocaching.
After many, many caches accompanied by the strong will not to write any standard logs, I ended up with more than 700 finds, all waiting for an official log. After intense considerations and carefully weighing my options, you now receive this special limited edition numbered log.
This is my unique non-standard log #180.
It was already dark but I know that kind of hide so it wasn't a problem to find this one
Thanks a lot Dog-gone for taking care of this cache, showing me this place and turning my travels into an adventure!

Love these caches, only my second find like this, it would have stumped me if I hadn't seen it before. Nicely done
TFTC. We were in Carlton to see "suffragette" at the Nova. This cache was just around the corner. We were early so went for a look. Had us stymied. Came back after the movie and saw what we thought was the cache and quickly had the cache in hand. SL and quickly replaced before any muggles noticed anything.
I was in the area grabbing a couple of caches so I thought that I would stop and have a look at this one. A quick find. TFTC.

On my way home from work and I found myself across the opposite side of town than usual avoiding the tennis traffic. Turning one street early had me going past and there seemed to be fewer muggles around than usual.
I had to walk up and back a few times before the coast was clear and I was able to grab the cache. I walked away to sign and then only had to wait another minute 'til I had a chance to replace it.
Thanks LouiseAnn for keeping this cool cache going. A fav for me.

The second of two lunchtime finds today.
I actually tried for this one before the other of my lunch finds, but couldn't seem to locate it. Headed off to "Skyhooks - First Concert" nearby instead, and having found that with a few minutes still left to spare decided to have one more crack at this one.
This time I approached from a different direction, and with the clue uppermost in mind something clicked, a surreptitious check proved to be on the money, and so I retreated a short distance to sign before returning... and then waiting five minutes before the coast was clear to replace without being spotted.
A lovely bit of urban concealment, via a method I've only encountered twice before in 360+ caches. Thanks for the cache, LouiseAnn.

Our first day in Melbourne and our second geocache. Staying for a week just off Lygon Street. We didn't find this one on the first pass but after a stop at Woolies we came out and the geowife spotted it immediately. It helped that we approached it from the other direction. Hello from Calgary, Canada. TFTC.
I am SO relieved to have finally nabbed this one. I've never spent so long looking for a traditional cache- this is the fourth (FOURTH!!!) time I've been here. For some reason I paid little attention to my GPS and spent well over an hour (all up) looking in the wrong spot!
Am kicking myself now. A fav for sure. A crazy long adventure that eventually paid off! Thanks dog gone. And thanks LouiseAnn for not giving it away when I begged for help! Lol

Searched everywhere in the area, and read the hint and logs, but with no luck.
Found it! Continuing my tour of Carlton, I arrived at GZ and started to eliminate possible hiding spots. I was still empty handed when a group of people arrived. I eventually found the bold hide when I returned to an almost empty GZ. Stealth is required here! TFTC SL
Never actually seen this approach in the field, but was aware of the possibility, and oddly it was the first thing I checked. Very nicely done. Thanks!
#687 1:56pm TFTC... I am sorry for the generic post, but I am MONTHS behind in my logging of caches... and it is becoming quite a stress. I need to churn though my backlog to get back up to date and I will endeavour to log more often in the future.
Always good to find a clever little cache like this. Just what the doctor ordered today... No SWAG left here today, but didn't take any either.

Very, very clever. I came here last night with no luck due to looking in the wrong spot. A fellow cacher came along telling me she had found this one and I searched a bit more and, voila! TFTC
Hmmm, yep certainly did test a newbie, just about sent myself cross-eyed and still no luck, have to practice a bit more and come back!
Catching up on some logs that I have discovered hadn't been published yet. As always I have enjoyed the challenge of looking for and finding this cache.
Many thanks LouiseAnn for placing this cache .

We have been watching this cache for a very long time as our daughter only lives 600mts away but we never seem to find time while visiting.
Today with micaparamedic we were waiting for Joleen to get home and thought we would make the most of the time and went for a walk to try our luck.
There were a few people moving around so we decoded the hint and soon thought we knew where the cache was, but we had to wait until the right time to grab the cache and add our names.
Many thanks Dog-gone for another well done shopping frenzy.

I was in the area killing time before picking up GeoGeo from St Paddy's Day work at the Dan O'Connell. Having nabbed a few multis nearby to help with my Multi March challenge I turned the attention to traditionals. Parked close to this one but I made heavy weather of it. In fact it became one of those 'two-day' caching expeditions as the clock ticked over past midnight. I looked at the obvious and not so obvious. I sat down, I stood back, but I was in no hurry to leave and didn't want this to beat me. Suddenly looked in a slightly different spot and there it was. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log (just, it's pretty full!) and visited a couple of TBs. Thanks for the cache LousieAnn. Well done for carrying on the original cache here.

Found a little while ago. Love this cache!! Walked past so many times, now I can't help but see it. Perfect
Needing a find for the day this was close and the D rating appealed to us so we set off to make the find. We had checked the location on Google maps before in case the GPSr did not like being too close to the building. Once close we spotted something and then made a quick find having seen this type of hide before. The log is full but we found a spot near the start to squeeze our name in before re hiding and setting off for breakfast. TFTC

So I have become obsessed with Campos coffee since we moved to Melbourne, so off this morning for what was suppose to be a quick coffee but ended up being a few! Whilst waiting, I had a quick wander to look for this one. It took a while to zone in on this one, but the hide was very much worth it! Thanks for the history lesson on this one too. TFTC
We were almost going to skip this one, as we couldn't find a park, and our tummies were grumbling for lunch, but just as we were about to drive off, a park became available. We spent some time searching around, but then something caught my eye and I had a cache in my hands. Nice hide, thanks for highlighting this building for us.
A nice Cachingtour on a nice day birthday hehehehe
Thank you very much for your hide!!
